Jabra talk 65 has a noise cancellation, it means the other party will not hear background noise when you talk. It reduces up to 80% of background noise. Easy to wear and it has a power button, volumn up and down

I bought this headset in the hope that it would be more simple and rugged vs. a very similar style of headset from another big manufacturer, but 6 months of almost daily use has been disappointing, to say the least. My *previous* headset used a toggle switch for power, interfaced with my contacts automatically and would read the contact name aloud when receiving a call, allowed me to double-tap the accept/end call button to redial the previous outgoing call, would simply say "headset disconnected" once AND ONLY ONCE if I walked out of range from my phone, and had a louder ringer volume. This Jabra headset, however, offers none of those functions, opens up the stupid Google AI function when I tap the accept call button too late after a call is ended by the other party, and the speaker beeps regularly when I walk out of range of my phone, which is extremely irritating (like, "yeah, I KNOW I'm out of range, you don't have to beep at me). There were better-made and better-featured Bluetooth heasets 8-10 years ago, so Jabra needs to go back to the drawing board and decide whether they want to make headsets that WORK the way humans need them to work, or if they just want to fill up space in our trash cans when we get tired of tolerating poor design. It does, however, charge via USB-C, which is nice I guess.

The Jabra Talk 65 is a mono Bluetooth headset, something that is important for those of us who spend 90% of our time on voice calls in the office - whether that's on a phone, zoom, etc. And you need an open ear to be able to participate in other office conversations without being isolated from the outside world. It's the sort of headset I love, because my office is open and collaborative. An important quick note, even though it's earbud looking the Jabra Talk 65 is an on ear style headset. So the earbud sits on your ear, not in your ear canal. Worth knowing up front. -= In the Box =- * Jabra 65T Bluetooth Mono Headset * 3 ear tips (medium already fitted, small and large also include) * a very nice flat USB A to USB C cable. -= First Impressions =- I'm a fan of this sort of headset and have owned previous Jabra models. The Jabra Talk 65 is lightweight, you can rotate the earpiece so you can wear it on your right or left side, the boom mic stalk is solid. The power and volume controls are easy to access and a good size. -= Setup =- Pairing is OK but the instructions are not clear. If you believe the included leaflet, you press the on button for 2 seconds to pair BUT the real way to start pairing is to have the Talk 65's off then hold the power button for 6 seconds so that it flashes red/blue. I hope this advice helps someone else! -= What's Good =- Call quality and noise isolation (so people you're talking to don't hear the other office gossip) is very good. It's a mono headset. You can take a call, talk, be hear, but still be present in the office. It's also super lightweight, so after a few hours you forget it's there. I've been using it all day without a dreaded low battery warning. Jabra rate the battery as 14 hours - which is longer than anyone should be doing a call. The side hot button is easy for answering, dismissing calls. Not in the manual, but at least in my tests, you can Jabra 65 microphone by flicking the boom arm up. Although it does give a bit of a scraping ratlling noise until it mutes. You can pair up to 8 devices and the Jabra 65 will intelligently switch - I haven't put this to the test, my limit is 2 (phone and computer) and the switching was easy. -= What's Not So Good =- The pairing process is OK but it would be so much better if there was an external LED instead of built into the buttons. As when you pair, you're pressing the button and covering the LED, so you don't know if it's flashing or on or off etc. -= Final Thoughts =- I like the Jabra Talk 65 but I like mono voice only headsets. Preferring to preserve my "music" headsets for my commute to work and something like the Jabra Talk for all day office use. I love USB C charging, that there's no need to install or use a separate app, and the design lets you be present for office conversations. If you want a good mono headset, you can't go wrong.

The Jabra - Talk 65 Premium Bluetooth Mono Headset – Black uses two noise-cancelling microphones to keep outdoor surrounding noise at a minimum. When I am speaking to someone, my voice is clear and understandable. In return, when I am listening to someone outside, I can hear them clearly and understandably. When I first placed the Jabra - Talk 65 Premium Bluetooth Mono Headset – Black over my ear and pressed the on button, it automatically spoke to me and started to pair with my phone. The shape of its ergonomic design allows for a comfortable fit for hours at a time. I can adjust the headset to wear on my right or left ear. It has Google and Siri voice assistant to make and answer calls. All I had to do was to give commands of “answer call” to allow the connection or “end call” to disconnect the connection. The headset also tells me how much battery time is left. Ear tips can be changed from a small one to a large one. The volume is loud enough to enjoy my music on the go. The Jabra - Talk 65 Premium Bluetooth Mono Headset – Black can operate from a distance of 100 meters from my phone allowing me great freedom from my phone physically. Battery life lasts for a good 12 hours easy, before the need for charging arises. The Jabra - Talk 65 Premium Bluetooth Mono Headset – Black is a necessary tool for anyone on the go with the need of constant mobile communication.

The Jabra Talk65 headset is an excellent choice for anyone needing a reliable, high-quality Bluetooth device for hands-free communication. Its comfortable design and lightweight build make it excellent for extended wear. The headset boasts impressive audio clarity, supported by dual-microphone technology that effectively reduces background noise, ensuring that both ends of the conversation are clear and undisturbed. This provided 2 x 8 hour days of talk time and still had charge, which is excellent for my work on the go. Additionally, its wireless range worked excellent around my office and walking to/from the copier and break room. This device also has voice control compatibility, allowing users to interact seamlessly with virtual assistants. One minor drawback is that the fit may not be ideal for everyone, as it relies on ear gels, which can be uncomfortable for some users after prolonged use. Nevertheless, the overall build quality, sound performance, and battery life make the Jabra Talk65 a top contender in the Bluetooth headset market. Whether for business or personal use, this headset delivers a solid performance that justifies its price point.

Jabra 65 I have owned many Jabra headset/earphones over the years. They have always been top notch in performance and quality. My company used Jabra exclusively for our offices and I think Jabra cut their teeth on the business world and have been extended their technological innovations to the consumer world. Pros – The fit is fantastic. I have seen a few complaints, but I found it to be perfect for my ears. Once set, it would stay in place regardless of how I moved around. I found the Jabra 65 to be perfectly comfortable. Battery life is amazing. It took me well over a week of use to finally deplete the battery. Of course, I was not using it continuously. Fit and finish is good, IP54 rating against dust and water. The range is ridiculous. Jabra claims it is up to 100 meters. I could not effectively test that but I was able to confirm about 100 feet. The noise cancellation is the star here. Jabra has really mastered this. Voice conversations for phone and office is what this should be used for. Great value for price. Cons - Jabra 65 is not supported by their app, so none of the settings can be changed. I found myself wanting to tweak some of the sounds. - Beyond conversation, the sound was average at best. This should not be used for music and movies. Overall, the sound was a bit disappointing albeit not enough to not still recommend the Jabra 65. - I could not find a way for the earpiece to tell me how much battery life it had left. -Ran into sound issues when paired with my iPad and Android phone at the same time ( but only using the phone.) The sound was sometimes garbled, and I would get random “headset connected. “ In conclusion, the Jabra 65 is a decent quality headset that is affordably priced. I really would have preferred some controls through an app and richer sound for conversation. The closest competitor has a better product that looks very similar but is price 25% higher. If you can snag a Jabra 65 on sale, it is a worthwhile look.

Jabra Talk 65 After charging the unit, I followed the “Get Started” directions to pair the unit via Bluetooth. When I went to make the Bluetooth connection, the Jabra Talk 65 was quickly discovered and connected without any problems. And I got a confirming voice message stating that “Your headset is connected”. It has a 300 feet maximum wireless range, so that should be more than enough. Since it only connects to one ear, that means you always have the other ear free to enable you to be aware of your surroundings. And, since it swivels to allow you to use it on either ear, you get to choose which ear you’d like to wear it on. That flexibility is certainly a nice touch. Included in the box with the unit are a charging cable and two different sets of earbuds (small and large). The medium earbud is pre-installed on the unit, but if that’s not the best fit for you, you’ve got the others to choose from. I found that the pre-installed medium earbud worked just fine for me. The sound I experienced while using the unit was remarkably crisp and clear, and folks on the other side of the conversation said that the sound coming from my end was also clear. And it was surprisingly comfortable to wear for longer periods. I can see lots of uses for this handy device. Some of them include: • Phone calls, so your hands are free to take notes or do other things. (While you could use your phone’s speakerphone, that would allow others to hear your conversation. This device makes your conversations private.) • Zoom sessions. • While driving. • Any other task that requires a hands-free conversation. In summary, it’s a very handy device that once you use it, you just might wonder how you got along without it. Highly recommended.

Summary ------- Perfect companion for zoom calls when you are working from home. Sometimes when you are using headphones like the airpods or any other true wireless headphones, these are really geared towards music rather than phone calls. The other party can always hear background noise and also the volume is not that clear. its always better to use dedicated headphones for calls. If you work from home or are hybrid, and you dont want to be stuck to the desk on a wired headphone, this is it. Pros ---- 1. Excellent noise cancelling 2. super range, i can walk around with this while connected to the phone or laptop 3. wife range Bluetooth 4. long battery life and standby Cons ---- 1. which they could make the Jabra elite headphones sound like this Details -------- I charged this fully before use. Its easy pairing for the laptop or the phone. The call quality is excellent, and it is a super good range. I can be connected to a computer at 2nd level and still walk over to 1st level and be well connected. The rated battery is 14 hours and standby is 17 days. I think the battery will last close to 12-13 hours. Overall i think for office calls, it is a good buy

Normally I use earbuds when talking on my phone or on a conference call. However, I picked up this mono headset as it's a bit more useful both for calls at home as well as on the road. Having this mono setup allows me to operate my phone hands free when driving and not fumbling around pushing buttons or anything. This thing is quite compact so no issues carrying it around. I like the USB-C charging port is on the bottom of the earpiece and uncovered. Makes for way easier charging on the go. Thankfully, I have quite a few USB-C cables lying around so I can set them up in multiple places for charging. This comes with a USB-C charging cable as well as a couple different sized ear cushions. Sound wise, it's clear and easy to hear. I had to jack up the volume on mine but it still sounds good while out and about and while driving. Haven't had any issues with call quality yet so everything sounds good to the person on the other end of the call. Did have an issue where the connection to my iPhone was lost but I guess that's an anomaly as it was just that one time. Biggest issue I have with this is the fit. This does come with some different sized ear tips but none of them really fit right. In fact, using all three, I felt no difference between them at all. For me, the ear piece just hangs on my ear lobe and moves quite a bit. I can't get a solid fit out of this earpiece so I'm constantly adjusting it. If the ear tips were more earbud-like, i.e. in ear, I think this would solve that issue. For now though, I just have to get used to it moving around .

I've been impressed with this Bluetooth headset after using it daily for almost 2 weeks. Setup out of the box was extremely fast and easy. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Call quality is excellent and people on the other end say that they can hear me clearly. I use mine for Microsoft Teams calls at work and, once paired with my computer, Teams immediately recognized this as the default device. It works well, although I haven't been able to use the buttons on the headset to answer or end calls. The functionality is probably there but it's a work computer so there are admin restrictions. My only complaint is that the ear tip is a little different from what I'm used to. It doesn't really sit on the ear and it doesn't go into your ear like an earbud. It sits against the inside of your ear but not in it, if that makes sense. I'm sure this allows for a longer wear time and comfort but it takes some getting used to. Overall, I like the headset and I would recommend it, especially for anyone that needs to do regular Zoom or Teams calls.
