I was very reluctant to buy these headphones, due to no reviews or technical specifications could be found anywhere.Jam audio website didn't even have this product listed yet.I tested the already available Jam Transit headphones($49).And they sounded fairly good and build quality felt cheap. But for $49 I kind of expected that. These new transit city headphones really surprised me.None were on display at Best Buy,but I took a chance and picked up a pair.Build quality is excellent.Headphone is light and very comfortable(Even for extended listening periods) Earcups are very soft and very close to completely going around my ears.I had to actually check with my finger to see that just a small tip of my ear was not completely inside opening. Now to the most important part (Sound Quality) These are hands down some of the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. They truly rival headphones in the $250 to $400 range.Bass, mid range and Treble are mixed very well.Meaning each stands out well but doesn't overshadow each other.Noise cancellation works quite well also.Just a week before I had purchased the sony xtra bass wireless headphones and was very dissatisfied. They sounded ok,and just ok.And felt like they might fall apart at any moment,So they were returned. It was 1 week later that I decided to give The transit city headphones a try.I'm very happy that I did. These will not be returned. For $129 they are as good or in many cases better than headphones I've owned that cost $250 or more. These can be used wired also,But in the 2 weeks that I've had them I found sound quality is pretty much the same wired or wireless.Battery life is great. The bass really thumps, but it sounds balanced not over the top boomy or muddy.Mids and highs are very well represented.I'm not a professional but I've been listening to high end audio since back in the day of reel to reel tape decks and high end record players and I do know how good speakers or headphones are supposed to sound.I very highly recommend these.

I like these very much. Bought to wear plane rides, but find myself wearing them much more often. The sound is very good with only a slight hollowness to the midrange occasionally. Bass is strong but not overpowering. Only issue is the hinges on the headband. I have not had any issues yet, however the hinges seem too small for the amount of torque they will most likely take. I would recommend.

The in store sales associate said that these were far better than the Beats as the Beats are heavier by way of weights in the product but not in quality and the Beats put $16 electronics in their product. The drivers in these are adequate but the amplifier needs more power as they dont quite produce enough low end bass response or volume. But i find that if you connect a 3.5mm cable directly to the headphones they become louder and have a little more bass. For the price not bad and they have good range and the ability to pause playback on the unit itself as well as control volume with touch buttons. The battery life has what they claim in the advertisement to be a long run time. I used these for 3.5 hours and still have not charged them up and they are still going strong. Overall a 4 star rating but due to the lack of bass and volume I gave 3 stars. If your not worried about this then take it as a 4 star rating!

My son uses them. He likes them alot. Sound is very good and the battery last very long. No real complaints . Sound quality is good but not quit as good as the Sol Republics we have.

I purchased a set of headphones primarily for trips by plane. I have to admit, half the time I just turn on the noise reduction and read, but when I play music, videos, or games the sounds that come out of this set can definitely rock. I've even used it while mowing, and it was fantastic!!

For the price, it does what the upper-tiered headphones do. The only downside(s) are that the sound quality is slightly (barely) off and they are quite bulky. Otherwise, YOU WON'T REGRET buying these. If its cost that you're considering, and you have a budget, GET THIS PAIR!

For half the price of Sony or other brands, this has all of the features I was looking for. Bluetooth, USB rechargeable, active noise cancellation. I use them when flying and couldn't be happier.

I recently traveled outside of the U.S. The JAMS headphones were a life saver. While playing music with the noise canceling mode turned on I was able to block out almost all noise on planes, trains, and buses. The headphones are now a required item to pack in my travel bag.

I bought these because I needed something large enough to go over my hearing aid since I can't use ear buds, but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars. I settled on these and they are Great! They are very lightweight, cordless (but have a cord if you prefer) and fold up to store. They are noise canceling which is perfect for travel.

I bought it specifically due to its noise cancellation feature and I am greatly disappointed. It simply does not work. I can hear the wind outside closed windows. It is comfortable, the sound is good, it is portable, the Bluetooth works fine. Too price for that.

I really wanted to like this headset because Jam makes good products. I did read the reviews, but I have found that sometimes they were not always right. Well, this time they were. The headset had static.

My daughter had some Sony headphones, and when one side stopped working, we went right back to Best Buy and found these. They are a great step up from the Sony pair.

I have used Nikon for ever. Your choice I've used the D300s but became to heavy for me to wear around my neck, so I down sized and kept all my lens.
