Good band if you don't lose it.

This is my second UP2. The first one I lost while playing golf. Took less than one week to lose it. The latch failed and I didn't know it was off until it was long gone. I decided to give it another try but added a cheap O ring to keep the latch in place. With the band secured, it has turned out to be a great tool. By the way, it appears Jawbone has modified the bands on newer models. I haven't tried one so I can't testify on the effectiveness of their modifications. However, I will say the older bands, like the one I have, have a more unisex look, IMHO. In addition, I appreciate the software change that allows the band to enter and exit sleep mode without having to double tap on the band. Great improvement!

I did a lot of comparisons with different activity trackers. I was originally going to go with the Up3 with a heart monitor, but after extensive reviews i found that it CURRENTLY only tracks your heart rate once or twice a day. I wasn't willing to spend the extra $80+tax($179.99 vs. $99.99) and I am very happy with the Up2. The app(which you get with any Jawbone product), as almost every review mentions, is the best in the business. it pairs perfectly with my iPhone 6!

    Ugh....

First the positives...it's basically the same as the UP24 which I absolutely loved. Great product. Negatives? 1. The clasp doesn't work well. It doesn't stay adjusted and is a pain to take off. I love to swim and that's a no-no. If it can't go in water, it should be easy to put on and take off. The UP24 was great in this area. I don't know why they changed that. It was stylish (if that's important) and practical. 2. Geez, its light. Sure that's a plus for some folks but for me I didn't like it. If it stayed on properly perhaps it would have been okay, but I was afraid that I may lose it since it was so light and it didn't stay clasped correctly. 3. It was impossible to wake up. The UP24 was easy to control. This band didn't respond at all the way it was supposed to respond. I'd tapped endlessly with mixed results. Not good Go back to the UP24 design, don't know why they changed it so much.

Bluethooth syncing is fast and reliable, and battery life is quite good. The clasp is a little confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it quickly.

Does as advertised. I wear it 24/7 and I've not had any issues so far. I've shower with it without issue. Would recommend this item to anyone who is just starting out and want a basic fitness band.

I like the new style of the up 2. The clasp keeps the band in play once you find your comfort. It also syncs with my iPhone 6 plus with no problems.

The jawbone up2 is an improvement from the up24. I love the size! It syncs extremely well. Which is one of the issues I had with my previous up24.

This has been a wonderful surprise. I didn't think it was going to be as accurate as it is. It's a great way to keep track of your health and sleep.

I got it so I would get more motivated to exercise or to at least move more. It works great. No complains. I got inclined towards this one because of the app. I like the duel option on the app.

My wife and I purchased on sale and got spectacular deal. Not sure I would have paid full price. Would prefer to have heart rate too, but overall good unit. Band is comfy. Ordered the upgrade part that keeps band from coming loose (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, it's free from Jawbone). Tracks sleep excellent. Have not compared to other units, but seems to track steps well too. Have taken showers with no issues. Battery life is excellent (> 7 days).

it does everything it suppose to. The clasp could be designed better but adding a small o-ring to old the clasp closed made it perfect.

Band fits really well. Much better operation than previous models. Still the best sleep tracker on the market. Wish it was truly waterproof so I could track activity while I am swimming.

My 3rd Up Band. Love the step and sleep tracker, inactivity reminder, and wake up features. Clasp isn't as reliable as would be hoped. Comes loose to easily. Big fan of UP bands.

Gave this to my mother in law as a gift and she has enjoyed it. She said she likes how it's slim and blends more as jewelry than the other activity trackers and tracks well.

I had another fitness tracker that, sadly, fell off and was found by a coworkers foot. So, I decided to try another tracker. After looking at reviews and talking with others, I chose the Jawbone UP2. It does an excellent job of tracking motion, providing alarms (buzzes) when I ask, and tracks sleep (both deep and light). I'm also pleased at the various summaries and hints the interface provides. This one also has slipped off my wrist, but I got a little rubber piece from Jawbone that has solved that issue.

This is my second Up band, I had the first generation which finally quit after 3years. Just like my old one it's very easy to use with the very user friendly app. I love the fact that it downloads automatically using Bluetooth.
