Keeps me on track. I really like smart coach it helps with accountability for sleep food and physical activity.. I find it fascinating how dead on the sleep part is between light /rem/deep. The steps are a little off sometimes based on when the treadmill says I hit a mile, but it's pretty close.

I have the various versions of Jawbone's UP activity tracking products and I have always loved the sleek design, but this is by far my favorite. I received a Fitbit HR through a program at work and it is huge! If you like touting to the world you have a tracker on then maybe that's for you, but when I am at work in a professional environment, I would rather not have this 'manly' band around my wrist. Although you cannot view your stats instantaneously on the UP3 band itself like you can on many of the Fitbits, the software for the UP products is superior to the Fitbit products.

Awesome activity tracker, and even better sleep tracker. I bought this for my wife for Christmas, she absolutely loves it. I wanted to buy one for me but, they don't make them in bigger guy sizes. Maximum Wrist measurement for this tracker is 7.4" or 190 mm. I could get hers on but it felt like if I flexed my wrist, it was going to Bust off. So I went with the Fitbit charge HR. Which fits bigger wrists.

The Jawbone UP3 is a nice tracker. Better than the UP band. However the battery life is only a couple of days even though the instructions say it is 7 days, I usually have to recharge the band twice a week. Wish they would improve on that.

What i love most about this tracker is the minimalist look. It's stylish like a bracelet. I wear a smartwatch so I dont need that digital display. The software is really great. The heart rate only measures resting so that's a slight downfall. Steps are accurate and I love the LONG lifespan of about 6 days on this. I even bought some for my sisters and we can do step challenges and give each other motivation. I got it on sale for $50 great deal! I am a huge fan of Jawbone and the quality on this band is definitely Jawbone quality.

It's easy to use, the app is very straightforward with many recording options. The clasp gets caught in hair and loose strings often.

I had the old UP24 and this version is far superior. It tracks my activity more accurately and tracks my sleep. Also no more of the bracelet getting tangled like the UP 24 did.

The UP3 is awesome it tracks, in detail my sleep patterns, gives suggestions on how to have a better nights sleep and tracks my steps and calories burned. Syncs with my phone.

I decided to upgrade my Jawbone band with the new Up3. I had read very mixed reviews but decided to take a chance based on my positive experience with my old band. The Up3 does not live up to the hype that it is the most advanced tracker out there. It consistently has to be re-synced to my phone as it never seems to hold a connection. It cycles into and out of sleep mode during high intensity workouts. The resting heart rate detection is a nice feature, at least when it actually works. I'd say at least several times a week I will open the app in the morning only to be told that I forgot to put the band into sleep mode, but the funny thing is, I have never forgotten to do that. This leaves me with an inaccurate sleep total and no HR reading. Lastly, the battery life is supposed to be about a week but I'm lucky to get 5 days so I just recharge every 4 days. The last time I charged was 2 days ago and today I got a warning that my band had less than a day of life. I had been tempted to return the band within the 14 day period for returns but I am holding out hope that a software update could fix these glitches. Until then, I advise those (including friends, family, and coworkers) looking for a tracker to get the Fitbit HR based on my many friends who have that and love it. If the problems I've outlined are not fixed, Jawbone can count me as another lost customer as to future products.

I got the up3 to monitor my activity, heart rate, and sleep. The heart rate monitor function can be a little off sometimes, but usually it's very accurate! And the clasp keeps sliding down making me have to tighten it up a couple of times a day. I've had it for about a month and everything works great! Only thing is that I wish you could have it check your heart rate in real time whenever you're working out. It does monitor it quite regularly though.

I wish the store had the UP3 in black, but the silver is nice too. I was looking for a fitness tracker with heart rate sensors, but didn't want a watch since I already have the Gear 2 smartwatch. The UP3 is perfect! It integrates well with MyFitnessPal and the Smart Coach is amazing. I love how it looks at all the collected data, compares it to previous data, and offers advice, encouragement, and hints to help along your journey.

My wife loves her Jawbone UP3. She said it is very comfortable and she is able to wear it with all of her outfits. She had been wanting a tracker for a while but did not like the options out on the market until she saw this one. She has been using it for a month now and has really enjoyed tracking her results. She said the app is very user friendly and provides her with all the information she needs.

I like almost everything about this tracker and it does a good job keeping track of your sleep and your steps. It's relatively easy to put in your food items and your exercise. If I was going to buy another tracker,I might not buy the light colored band, because it tends to look dirty after while. I know there are several bands out there that have LED readouts, but I haven't really missed it with this band.

I've been using Jawbone UP bands since 2012. They are great when they work but break rather quickly. They do a good job of replacing while under warranty typically but that gets annoying. I bought the UP3 on 8/13 and it stopped working on 9/10, so not even a full month.

I really wanted to like this, but sadly Jawbone has not added active heart rate monitoring yet and that was one of my reasons for purchasing. Another big issue was fit. With only 1 size, when tight enough to be on properly per the instructions, it was uncomfortable when turning or flexing my wrist. I'm a very small woman but this was not designed for someone as small as me. I really tried, wore it for a month, but after having to re-sync multiple times per day, reported sleep time being way off(had to manually adjust every morning), and step count not accurate either, I returned it today and got a Fitbit Charge HR. I'm loving it!!!! The HR tracks active & resting heart rate optically, so the band is to be worn loose, like a bangle bracelet...PERFECT for a small person. It is so comfortable, even though it is much larger than the UP3. So far the HR seems more accurate and although there are complaints about the app, I actually prefer Fitbit because you can sync to smartphone and/or computer(and it comes with a dongle in case your computer doesn't have Bluetooth, like mine). Set up of the HR was easier as well. I'm typically independent and not usually part of a heard(no iPhone for me)...lol. But in this case FOLLOW the HEARD....Fitbit has it more figured out than the others(have tried a few other bands as well)....they aren't perfect either, but much better.

I have really enjoyed by up3 by jawbone. I'd been thinking about which band to buy. So happy with this one. Tracks my sleep, steps, and heart rate. Very easy to use. I can also input my weight, water intake, food intake, get reminders for taking meds, there's just so many benefits. It's amazing. Under 100 dollars.

This purchase was a gift for my mother. She wanted a fitness tracker but didn't need a watch. It did have to look 'not out of place' alongside jewelry and work attire - most bands are a little too sporty. This device had all the features she required, including heartrate tracking, and could easily be adjusted to fit her wrist (even those with very large wrists should have no issue adjusting the band to fit). The app was easy to configure and had all sorts of functionality.

I have been using this for about a month now and am very satisfied so far. I like having the ability to have a very complete view with not only steps but heart rate, sleep evaluation, and diet evaluation. The only real problem I've had so far is the clasp doesn't always stay put. I have had a couple times that it almost fell off my wrist because the clasp slide open.

got this UP3 on sale for $45. one of the best trackers on the market . app for the phone is great. heartbeat monitoring, calorie tracking, workout assist and much more. the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because it has no screen,so you must use your cell to see all your activity
