I love my Up3! I love how I can track my resting HR, sleep cycles, steps, workouts & food if I choose to. The food part is a little bit of a pain but not enough to take away from the rating. I love the challenges it gives me daily and reminds me that I haven't met my weekly step average, informs me of what to do to get my resting HR down to my average etc. The only thing that I dont like is that when I use map my run app in conjunction with this and I hike 9.15 miles, my band doesnt sync up to match that amount. It goes off of the steps it happens to catch because its on my wrist (which I know that it wont catch every step) and basis the mileage off of that rather than taking the map my run mileage. My phone also keeps up with my steps and it has been as much as 3k steps off when hiking. Again, I know that is the difference between being on my wrist vs on my hip/foot. If an upgrade comes up soon I hope that is a fix they can do something about! Outside of that I wouldnt trade my band in for anything! I have recommeded it to 2 of my clients at the gym & they have bought 1 as well. Along with my son & daughter in law!

I waited a long time for the Up3. It's a nice fitness bracelet, synchs well, comfortable to wear, too. Unobtrusive, unlike the MS Band (ouch) or some of the Fitbit bands (ugly). The sleep HR function is its most compelling feature and I plan to use and monitor this for a while as this can be a great health indicator. Some of the other tracking is "okay" -- no better or worse than other comparable.

Got this for my husband. He didn't want to get a fitness band that looked like a fitness band. Very sleek and minimal. He researched extensively and chose this one for it's sleep monitoring abilities. Monitors sleep,REM sleep and deep sleep. The one flaw is an issue with the clasp. If you catch it just right, it will release and the band will fall off. Apparently they know this because when you register the product, they offer an optional sport clasp thing for free. GET IT!! It's free and otherwise you can lose this expensive band. It comes in the mail in a couple of days and (did I mention) it's FREE.

I love this UP3! I've been using the UP2 and loved it. I started using the food tracker and have lost some serious weight and I evaluate food differently based on the scores. The app is motivational! I have an Apple watch and wear the UP3 right next to it. At the end of the day, the Apple products register about 1,000 steps more than the UP3, but either way, I'm loving it! The charge is a bit tricky, I charge it every 4 to 5 days. I will probably have to buy an extra charger for work just like I have done for all of my other electronics. I'm sure that is because I'm logging in workouts, water and food all of the time... When they come out with a new color, I'll have to get it!

This jawbone is a very good tracker. With my very small wrists, I found this to be a better fit than a couple of the competitor's offerings. It did, however, take several wearings to make it easier to attach the band to my wrist. Definitely easier than competitor's models tried previously.

I bought the Jawbone UP3 primarily to track sleep quality and heart rate for medical reasons. It seems to provide a fairly accurate assessment. I wore it during a recent sleep study and the data proved to be consistent with the sleep data collected. My doctor said the technology is derived from a prior generation of sleep medical technology. The step tracking feature also seems to be fairly decent. I do like the accompanying app which displays the data and provides some lifestyle coaching. I also like it that the band is slim-line and more stylish than the "Dick Tracey" ones on the market that annoy you with text/phone/email notifications.

Bought it for the heart rate monitor was a little disappointed that it only measured the resting heart rate. But I guess they're going to fix that overall a nice fitness band although it does measured differently then the up24. In the beginning it seem to log fewer steps but it seems to be learning and logs the same amount of steps is the up24 did previously

With all the delays associated with getting this product out, I had essentially written it off as an option. I have used Jawbone products before and appreciate their minimal approach to wearing a fitness band. I wear a Pebble watch on one arm and like the look of a simple band on the other. When Best Buy had the Up3 band in the store, I thought it looked great. Still skeptical, I decided to give it a try with the understanding I could return it if I didn't like it. I've been wearing it for a month now and am very pleased. It's a snug but comfortable fit, appears to take accurate readings, and I especially appreciate the iOS app that stores my information and coaches me through my day and evenings. I purchased an extended warranty just in case there is trouble down the road which I usually do for electronics purchases. Overall, I'm very pleased and am using this tool to help me track my activities and sleep, and am using the app to track what I eat and drink.

This was my first fitness tracker purchase. I've had it for about a week and I like to so far. It is comfortable to wear, easy to charge, can get wet (washing hands or in the shower), and is adjustable - allowing for a comfortable fit. Even for those of us with tiny wrist! I wish it came in more color options and vibrated stronger for alerts.

I upgraded to the UP3 from the first generation. I wanted something that would monitor my heart rate while working out. Of course, this product periodically checks HR to develop a daily trend. Other issues is that sometimes it loses sync with my iPhone or automatically goes from sleep mode to awake mode. Battery lasts only about 5 days. If you have a busy week, you forget to charge. So, I'm rating this product a 3 or maybe 3.5. The UP4? Should be coming out. If debating buying this product, wait and see the reviews on the new model and then make a decision.

I bought this one for the sleep tracking but I find the activity information useful too. The only thing I don't like is the clasp. It was hard to put on at first. It has come off twice while I was sleeping.

The product could have stayed on better during activity. It was a disappointment from that stand point. Overall I liked the product, size and the ability to do what it says it would do. The fit was questionable.

I had a up24 in the past and I already loved it. I've bought this one because the other one broke when playing. This new version is much better as you can keep a track of your heart beats and it comes with a more detailed sleep analysis. Smart coach feature has been improved and that's another plus! I do recommend it !

I've used many smartbands and I've found the only accurate ones are the fitbit and the jawbone. For the most part it accurately detects when you go to sleep, but should it not, it's easy to figure out with the app when you fell asleep. It has lots of settings for workouts such as elliptical, jogging, biking, etc...

This is my second Up band. Love the new band design. I find the charging a little confusing. The band will magnet on in either direction but needs to be a certain way to charge. Wish it gave feedback towards goals without syncing like the Fitbit does.

I've tried 3 bands. Garmin, Fitbit and Up. Fitbit kept breaking, Garmin would not hold a charge more than three days. The Up band is my favorite because I don't need to see my progress on my arm, it stays charged longer than most, and I like the smaller size compared to the other two. My one complaint is the catch on it. The bands fall off and I've lost one!! The company did send me a small clip to attach to my next band to block the closure from slipping out. Until they remake the model to stay on better, I would not wear one of these until you call the company and have them mail you a clip! I confess, I safety pinned mine to a bracelet until I received the clip. So Chic!!

I read reviews and different fitness tracker comparisons ally deciding on this one. It's comfortable to wear and the app is easy to use. My only regret is not getting it in a darker color, as this one is too light and stains easily with wear.

This healthtracker is very lightweight and does its job with good accuracy. I have used fitbit HR as well for few days and gave it to my wife. Compared to Fitbit HR it does not have display to show any real time data or time but in terms of accuracy and app interface i found jawbone up3 is better. On the minus side i think they could have done belt fitting better I did not like belt fitting as it very often slips from hand even if slight pull from one side. On the whole it has been just 15 since i started using it and its looking better health tracker and true value for money. I am giving one star less because of belt otherwise it would have been perfect for this price.
