Works well with minor griped
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dumbells feel identical grip to the real gym counter parts. Weight selection is easy. However the plastic casings to the weights arrived with spiderweb cracks which makes me question the durability of these. The app allows you to track your workout, but it wont save your stats unless you actually pay around 25 per month for a membership. Thats more cost than most gyms, so it doesnt make sense. I hope thes smart dumbbellsstay working because ive frad horror stories about some users becoming 50 lb paper weights. I wokld reccomend for sale price

These are awesome!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are awesome, I was skeptical as the price is about $200 less than I would expect for something like this but they did not disappoint! The way they adjust they are only as large as they need to be unlike other adjustable dumbbells that end up being the same length regardless of weight. The app made it seem like you have to subscribe to use it at first but you just have to back out and then sign in after setting up an account. Only issues I have is you have to be somewhat careful when putting the weights back into the base to make sure they line up properly (relatively minor issue) and they don't make a separate stand for them other than the whole interactive studio thing. Unless you are looking for one of the rare adjustable sets that goes higher than 50 lbs I doubt you will find a better setup than this... and yes it came with two of them.

Design flaw
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Off the back, they look good. Plug them in and make sure to charge them over night. The app functions good with the set. The issue I have is with loading the weights, picking them up and putting them into the desired slots requires a lot of concentration. After doing 50 curls, tired and ready to change the weight, you can’t just lay them down. They have to slide in perfectly for the base to recognize them. Also wanting to move them entirely requires you to unload them move the base and reload. Once or twice I broke a nail doing so. The sound of lose weights also gives it a real feel. Over all I like the weights but I haven’t used the app to the fullest.

Nice Design and Compact For Easier Use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who's been using the JaxJox Adjustable Dumbbell Pair for a few weeks now, I have to say that they're definitely a great addition to any home gym. One of the things I really appreciate about these dumbbells is how compact they are. They take up very little space, which is perfect if you're working out in a smaller area. In terms of build quality, these dumbbells are well-made and feel sturdy in your hands. The weight plates are easy to adjust, and I haven't had any issues with them coming loose during workouts. The grip is also comfortable, which is important when you're lifting heavy weights. However, the electronic functionality of the dumbbells can be finicky at times. While the idea of being able to track your reps and sets through an app is great, the execution could be better. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection can be unreliable, which can be frustrating if you're trying to log your workouts. Additionally, the app itself can be a bit confusing to navigate, especially if you're not tech-savvy. Overall, I think the JaxJox Adjustable Dumbbell Pair is a good investment for anyone looking to work out at home. They're well-made and compact, which is great for smaller spaces. However, the electronic functionality might not be for everyone, so keep that in mind before purchasing. If you're okay with using them purely as dumbbells, they're a great choice.

Smart Dumbbells
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at most of the top adjustable dumbbells prior to purchasing the JaxJox Smart Dumbbells. I love the fact that at the press of a button I can change the weight of each dumbbell, unlike any other dumbbell out there. They look and feel like regular dumbbells. The grip mimics those of gym quality. I have used them indoor for about a month now and not quite sure how they would hold up being dropped. My only wish is they came in a heavier weight than 50 lbs.

Incredible for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using these now for 3 weeks shy of a year and they are great. 2 adjustable 50 lb dumbbells for $100 is unbeatable. The fact that there’s a mobile app feature is even better. I’ve read reviews on this site stating that the weight broke or that the charge feature just stopped working all together. After using these for a year and putting them through their paces, I can confidently say they must’ve been abusing them and/or not placing them on the base correctly. If you’re looking for dumbbells and you see these on sale, don’t hesitate. Buy them immediately before they sell out!

Nice design and Versatile
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great adjustable dumbbells. I’ve read other reviews suggesting the base doesn’t align. I didn’t have this problem at all. The base will need to charge before connecting, etc... after 10 mins or so I was able to connect via the app over Bluetooth. Connection is consistent and works well. The app has a nice feature to adjust the weights simultaneously which saves a few seconds. I wish there was more iron or steel versus plastic but not a deal breaker. Flat end design is nice and comfortable when resting on your legs. Also the knurled grip is similar to classic dumbbells which was a nice touch. One negative was it only came with USB cables but no power adapter. For the price we should get a power adapter. I’d normally dock half a star for that but nowadays we have plenty of USB adapters. Overall would recommend.

Great gear
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quite expensive but high quality. The app connectivity is a cool touch but useless if you don't plan on using JAXJOX as your workout service. Luckily, you can simply change the weights manually but I can imagine that would be a way to lower the price a bit for future iterations of the device.

Very good pair of adjustable dumbbells
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like these pair of adjustable dumbbells. I was on the lookout for a nice pair for a few months now and was not able to find any good sets as they were all sold out due to covid and everyone working out at home. Luckily found these during the black Friday sale and immediately bought them as they were discounted. I was skeptical at first but once I began to use them I absolutely love it! Switching weights takes just a couple of seconds and the part I liked the most is the size of the dumbbell changes based on the weight. So you don't have to use the same size for all weights like Bowflex or Nordic track.

Work well and seem well made
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not really used the app, and have only been using the dumbells for a week, but so far they seem solid and I havent had any major issues with them. I like the range these have from a low weight all the way up to 50lbs each. Being a 100lb set of dumbells, the box the product ahips in is a workout in itself. I havent spent a lot of time studying how these work, but it appears that the plates are magnetic and asjusting the weight extends the bar out and the plates cling to it magnetically. Ive used the dumbells vertically and had no issues of the plates slipping off. The only thing that I have had trouble with is putting the dumbells back on their stands, and getting them to slip back down between the unused plates can be tricky. The plates nest together and you sometimes need to hold the unused plates straight while sliding the dumbell in between them. Outside of that I like everything about them. I have not used the app much. I found it easier to just adjust weight with the button in the base of each.

Magnets and magic
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these when they were a Deal of the Day. At the deal price I chose to buy them, not knowing how much I would really value them. The ability to click a button to determine what weight to affix to the dumbell works great! It is very convenient and I like the condensed size of these units a lot. The plates seem to attach with magnets and magic...

Pandemic gym
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 month in and used them regularly. I started the year weighing 30lbs overweight. I have lost 7 lbs and have gotten stronger. I really like how easy it is to change weight when you place the weight in the right position which happens like 80% of the time. I haven’t had any issue beside getting a hold of JAXJOX I emailed them and it took over a week for a reply about the subscription. I share them with my family and they don’t even lift weights but they are now lifting regularly too now. I do recommend for beginners they are pricy but gyms are closed and people are selling workout equipment at even higher markup prices.

Good, not great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dumbbells themselves are fantastic! Great quality in the actual equipment, but technology is not as advertised. You have to put the weights back on the rack just right or they get hung up on the extra plates. Not overly difficult but sometimes annoying. I prefer the digital adjustment over manual dial as well as the metal plates over competitive models. The app is worthless and there is no element of AI technology. A smartwatch tracks your workout data better than the JAXJOX program

Great Product but Definitely Room for Improvement
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these for $400 for Cyber Monday and considering they go to 50 lbs each it's a great value considering the scarcity of weights right now. I don't really use the app to track my workout. My ONLY complaints are that I wish the product came with a charging outlet (only included 2 usb-c wires) and that the weights can sometimes be cumbersome to put back into the base if you don't line it up accurately.

Love these adjustable dumbbells
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using these for 3 weeks and think they are great! I have been going to the gym for 20 years and when the gyms closed and concerns about spreading germs in my household I decided to create the experience at home. I had TRX and resistance bands which work fine for a short period but needed more. I purchased an Inspire Fitness functional system but still needed dumbbells for various exercises. Adjustable dumbbells and regular dumbbells have been hard to find and tried these when they were released. I like them much better than other adjustable sets as it creates a similar feel as the gym single barbells. The base and handle is 8lbs and each increment up adds a small 3lb weight on each side. 8,14,20,26,32,38,44 and 50. I have used these for 20-30 minutes 4 times a week and have had no issues with them working every time up or down or going from 14lbs to 50lbs. The app is ok for keeping track if your newer to working out but for those that have been doing it a while you know when and how often to alternate body groups.

Hold you accountable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Adjustable dumbbells are a great investment for small living spaces like apartments and dorm rooms. The "smart" feature of the "dumb"bells (ha) is the app that has a Bluetooth connection to the weights and counts how many reps you do each day. There are also workout videos (some free, some pay to play) to efficiently track your workouts. There are alerts and notifications if you have been away for too long, really holds you accountable.

Great dumbbells, poor app
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great set of adjustable dumbbells. They work well, no issues with connecting or adjusting the weights. They do their job well but are few places to be improved: App is very poor (honestly don't use it though, it's not required), cords that came with them are short (easily fixed with set from Amazon). Otherwise base seems sturdy and weights fine.

Best Smart Weights
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful. Adjustable over bluetooth on my phone makes it so easy to choose the desired weight to be lifted. The charging is pretty fast and the app has a bunch of data recording and workout routines which is wonderful to have. 10/10

Happy with this purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really cool, space-saving, operate as expected - and even though they are expensive, some of the other top brands are as much as this for only one dumbbell which is absurd. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because you have to sign up for their subscription plan to finish the app setup. It's a trial, so you can immediately cancel it without cost, but still annoying. I have no intention of using their app for exercise, but probably need it for any firmware updates which come along.
