Product works well only for first few uses
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent dumbbells but my base stopped working in 6-7 months of mild usage. Must have hardly changed the weights 20-30 times. The weights are now stuck on 50lbs and the base was stuck out of sync for a while until it just stopped turning on again. I tried reaching out to the customer support several times in the last few months but not a single response. On their instagram several posts have similar comments about ZERO RESPONSE for support.

JJ dumbbells
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. Only weird thing is weight shifts in 6lbs unit. Start from 8lbs up to 50lbs. Fast transition

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of these dumbbells are not the best but it gets the job done. User experience is not as smooth as how I would like it to be

These will get the job done!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great dumbells but the do have some issues. 1. They at times will it go into the cradles because the plates don’t slide into each other. 2. If you change the weight selection with the dumbells out of the cradles the pistons in the handles will extend and they will not go back into the cradles without removing ALL of the plates in the cradles first. 3. The app needs some work. The selection of a different weight for the dumbells is not precise when using the app and can be frustrating. You should also be able to adjust each dumbells individually but you can not at this time

Great set of dumbbells for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great set of dumbbell for home gyms, I've been using it for several months without a problem. Would love if I could mute the beeps, but still a great investment. Based on other reviews, these might be a bit fragile so I would recommend not dropping these onto the ground.

Alright for the sale going on at the time
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems cheaply made for something expensive. One of the dumbells got stuck for a second and would extend to increase the weight

Underpowered and unnecessary electronics
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't keep them. They are build fairly well. They feel good and are compact in the different weight selections. BUT the motor sounded like it was struggling immediately. It sounds underpowered and worse it's not necessary. Just takes more time between weight changes and is a horrible point of failure. One time the weights didn't register a change and it was an ordeal to reset it all. Powerblocks are not nearly as sexy but work well and last.

Piece of crap
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally not worth it. Peace of crap. Will last for a year after the warranty expires and then you are stuck with broken equipment. I had to reset them many times but now one of the dumbbells now won’t reset. These were expensive and not worth it.

Impressive build and feel. App complicates things
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these in lieu of the bow flex selectech. They feel great in the hand and the quality of the build is evident. Changing from one weight to another takes about 10 seconds…. Not a big deal. The app is neat, logs your reps and sets… but does complicate things a bit. I found that if I use the app i can’t come back to the weights later to get in a quick set without the app. The screen is unresponsive to changing the weight and seems frozen. It requires me to connect to charge power again to get it unstuck…. Not cool if you just want a quick set with a different weight. I have since deleted the app and had no issues…. So what’s the point of a smart dumbbell? Dunno… perhaps should have gone with the bow flex? Overall i am happy with the product.

Stopped working after 2 months
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially, I was quite pleased with this product, but that quickly changed after a couple of months of use. The weight stopped adjusting and there is no manual way to adjust the weight so I was stuck with one weight and unfortunately different weights on each dumbbell. I tried going through troubleshooting provided by the manufacturer, Youtube videos, and online threads. It appears that this is a common issue, which I'll chalk up to poor quality assurance from the company. I've reached out to their support to exercise the warranty, but even then I will pay a lot of money for a replacement I don't anticipate lasting long....

JAXJOX - Dumbbell - Adjustable Dumbbell Pair
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an "Okay" dumbbell. Sometimes, the bluetooth functions does not work very well. Overall, it is okay for the price but would rather go for the traditional dumbbells for safety.

Manual is better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The concept is good, but there are deficiencies in the app that, apparently, has to be used in order for the weight to be changed. Each time that I have used them, I couldn't adjust/change the weight until I removed the dumbbells from the case/holder and also opened the app, and then adjusted the number on the screen. My concern now is what I'll do if there's a glitch won't allow me to adjust them. They then become an expensive paper weight.

Great product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The weights are awesome. But the app needs work. I've only had them for a few weeks, but so far they are very premium and operate the way I hoped they would. I would recommend these to anyone, Too bad I missed out when they were on sale tho. Only 4 stars because of the app. And as always, it's tech, so get the protection plan.

Serves its purpose. Needs improvements.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a dumbbell. But Re-racking is very frustrating. The design of the dumbbell and docking station needs a lot of work, it doesn’t slip right in, rather you have to use your other hand to guide the weights. Honestly tried to return them because of this mess but Best Buy’s return policy sucks

Compact full dumbbell set!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compact way to have a full dumbbell set in a small room. Note that if the set is at low power than it has trouble switching weights and the LCD doesn’t tell you clearly that’s the issue!

Just what I was looking for!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it! But it has some faults to it. Bluetooth connection isn’t that great and some times it gets stuck on a setting and have to reset!
