Great little earbuds for under $50. Bought them to replace a set of Bose soundsport wireless that were lost. Not as good as the Bose, but for 1/3 the price, they sound good. Good bass and comfortable fit.

Excellent sound quality and comfort while wearing them. The only downside is when you have the extended battery attached it does tend to pull on the headphone on that side. Otherwise great product.

I have trouble finding lightweight earbuds that will stay in my ears, last a long time, and give me deep, rich bass tones along with clear high tones. These do it. Very lightweight, don't hurt my ears, stay in place, and are sweat/water resistant (but don't dunk them in a pool). They have a nifty recharge unit that snaps onto the body of the controller and can double as an extra battery pack, plus it recharges quickly. Also, they are metal and not cheap plastic, so they feel substantial in your hands - but still don't fall out of your ears. I recommend them for walking, running, cycling, by the pool, etc.

These Jaybird Earbud is quite amazing for 50 bucks because they are nice and loud to minimum distortion. Great sound quality, great fit for my ears, alright battery life without the charging cradle, awesome for the price coming in at only 50 dollars. Highly recommended for the price! Always wanted jaybird Earbud but I can't Fathom to pay over 100 dollars on earbuds, but for 50 bucks, they are what I been looking for. Give it a shot!

Great sound out of these small and light wireless headphones. My Jaybird X1's have a deeper base than these, but the F5's are lighter and smaller, so the trade off is understandable.

I have had several Jaybird wireless headphones. I have consistently been pleased with their products. The Freedom F3 is another Jaybird product that reflects Jaybird’s dedication to a quality, well-researched product. I sweat a lot when I exercise, and these headphones can take it! The sound is great, the fit is great, and these are durable. I highly recommend them for workouts or just hanging out listening to music.

I purchased these for my daughter since she needed new ones for her daily workout. She loves them! They are very comfortable and stay in her ear when running. She sweats quite a bit and they still remain in place. She also uses them at work and loves the sound. The controls are easy to use and one of the best features is call quality when answering calls from her iPhone. Good quality headphones at a reasonable price.

I like these, they sound good for being compact and stay in my ears good also. These are my second pair as the first sets battery was bad. I get a few hours of music from these.

They are great, but have big flaws

First off, sound quality if mixed correctly using either their Android or iOS app is impressive considering the size. They are also extremely comfortable once again because of their size, however the size and design of the ear buds can be a problem, they're so small that the ear tips are very obviously made for the earbuds and mine keep falling off, so after repeated insertion of the silicon tips they no longer stay on the earbud in fact I removed an earbud only to realize I left the silicon tip in my ear, thankfully I was able to remove it with a pair of tweezers. I don't think the silicon tip issue is a common problem but I mention it because its a possibility with these earbuds, and I never experienced anything like it before even with the Jaybird x2. And finally battery life, I've gotten about 6 hours of almost constant use with a single charge, so the 4 hours of constant playback is realistic, the good thing is the charging cradle has a built in battery and you can use them while they charge, the bad thing is you can also loose the charging cradle and I'm not sure where you'd buy a new one or for how much. Overall even with these issues I don't regret buying these earbuds, but I also look forward to the Jaybirds x3 to see how those compare.

These headphones are really light weight and the sound is amazing! You can customize the sound in their app or select from preset ones that other people have made. When going to use your headphones it will automatically go the last preset it was on so you don’t have to go into the app. Being able to change how these headphones sound is definitely the highlight. They’re easy to use and stay in well during workouts.

The sound quality is great only with the Jaybird app the preset setting w/o the app sucked big time for me the Jaybird app allowed me to customize everything to my liking. I do hate the battery pack it comes with w/o it you cannot charge the battery that's fixed on the wire that's the only downside so don't lose the battery pack, I leave it connected to the charger to prevent me from losing it, kinda of a waste for me since it would serve as a good backup in case i need a quick charge the risk of me dropping it in the gym and losing it is to high that would require for me to probably purchase a new set of buds.

Best wireless earbuds for the price

These headphones are fantastic quality. The sound is great overall, and the capability to customize the sound through the app works flawlessly. They are comfortable for workouts and daily use, but I recommend trying the “comply” tips. The rubber ones just don’t work well for me. Battery is good enough for my usage, but needs to be recharged every couple of days based on my usage of 2 hours a day.

    Good Sound, Good Battery Life

The sound is decent out-of-the-box but it's best to experiment with the ear appliances. Once I found the best fit it improved the audio. The app also helps equalize for those who prefer more bass or treble. I prefer a "flat" sound that avoids artifacts from manipulation but I was pretty impressed with the flexibility. I wish the battery were more than four hours but the additional battery pack, while a little clunky, allows to listen while charging. Turns out it's overall more convenient even though it *feels* like a compromise.

I reviewed these and the Bose before purchasing these. I've owned Bose before and loved them but ultimately the smaller ear pieces on these persuaded me. They work great. I have worn them and walked all over my house without loss of signal. I use them at the pool too. I leave my phone on my table and use these while floating, they work great, even up to the other side of the pool. They are not completely noise cancelling but they do reduce it greatly. The pool blasts country music, hence the need for ear buds and I can eliminate that noise without having to blast my music. I can keep it at mid-range and still cancel out the other music. They connect easily. The only flaws (and this is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars) I see are that they sometimes turn on when just in my purse. I believe this is due to the button being depressed with things shifting around. That can be a problem though because it can drain the battery. It could also be eliminated with a harder earbud case. The only other flaw is that when I wear them with the wire going behind my head, the microphone piece has to be brought around to my mouth for a phone call or the person I'm speaking to has trouble hearing me. Their main purpose though is for music and they work excellent for that. I would do 4.5 stars but that is not an option.

    Incredible Bang for the Buck

I currently use wired Monster Gold Turbine ear buds which I love. Wanting to also have a wireless option, I decided that for the price I couldn’t go wrong with F5 Special Edition and picked up a pair ( for $49 they seemed like a good deal no matter what). Well for $49 this is an incredible steal. Out of the box I was not impressed with the sound and thought that for the price they were OK. Then I downloaded the app, which allowed me to customize the sound shape and they now sound as good as any pair I tested (including the Bose and 3x the price). For the special edition price you only get 3 pairs and of silicone ear tips (which fits most needs), otherwise the same product that lists for $149 (and I have a ton of tips from my Monster buds that are interchangeable). Battery life is good and can last a cross country flight (I did have to use the small battery pack about 2/3s across). I still use my Monsters for long use, but my new F5’s are my new go to. If you don’t mind the small effort to download the app and customize your sound (there are also customized that other users have shared that you can download.....I’ve put up about a half a dozen myself) you cannot go wrong with this purchase.

These sound better than others I have used. Fit is good with foam ear attachments and during travel or gym they are very compact and lightweight. Downside is removable battery/charger. Already lost one and replaced it online. 4 hrs of life unless you add the battery/charger which adds weight to head set. That's why 4 stars. Overall pleased with unit.

I was disappointed that the Special Addition did not come with the 6 pair of earbuds and 4 pair of wings like the regular version. It was only $50 but would've been nice to have the options. Sound is great, but can't seem to get them to seal correctly in my ears. Also a little heavy on the right side due to the controls. Also learned that they only last 4 hours unless the charger is attached than you can probably get 8 hours. Nice app feature to allow costumizing the equalizer. Really like this feature.

The Jaybird freedom F5 are great for someone looking for a secure fit in ear with multiple sizes for different size ears. The sound quality is good not the best i have heard but good. They are very lightweight you will forget they are there, battery life is also very good about 4 hours more then enough time between charging.

These have been great for what I use them for. First off, the sound is just perfect. You can hear your highs, and the bass is on point with what you're listening too. For comfort, the fins work fine with my ear and I can sleep with these without ear fatigue. The battery pack does weigh it down on the right side, so keep that in mind if you plan on using these for active use. Also, the paint on the bud itself corroded off when i wiped these down, but I didn't mark down for that since I have been told acidic sweat can actually corrode certain surfaces. (My Oakley lenses have peeled because of my sweat, so that's why I know it's not Jaybird's fault.)

The jay bird freedoms are great headphones. The jaybird app that you download is great. You can truely customize how these headphones sound. If you are a bass head you can turn up the bass. And they boom. For anyone looking for a great pair of ear buds. Look no further. And at 50 dollars it’s a steal.
