The sound they produced was good, but the volume was so low you could only hear them in very quiet places. When I run I want my music loud to keep me going. The pairing process was easy. They worked great indoors on a treadmill. Outside it was hit or miss. Turn your head too fast and one of the buds would cut out.

      Hi GadgetAddict,

Dang! We are sorry to hear you returned the RUN, especially since we released an update to massively improve the connection of RUN. Also with personal testing using the app along with switching the button controls to the volume specific controls the sound is quite loud in general. If you ever want to try these again or give us a chance to look into the why the volume was so low on your device please reach out with any questions. We do appreciate your feedback as well so thank you for the review. Contact us directly at [email protected]

I'll start off by saying that I am not a fan of cordless earphones. I do not like the risk of them falling out and getting lost. With that being said, these wireless earbuds performed extremely well and exceeded my expectations. Here are some of the things I liked most: - The travel case is innovative. You get 4 hours of power for the earbuds, but the charging pod is small enough to fit in your pocket and can provide additional juice as needed - and quickly. The case is really cool, with LEDs on the outside to indicate charging. - Sound quality exceeded my expectations and rivals other mid to high tier brands. - The Bluetooth connection was excellent. I have several sets of earbuds that cut out here and there even when my phone is close. I did not experience any dropped audio, even when 15+ feet away from my phone with this set.

I bought these to train in the gym and outdoors. I love the clarity of the sound, the ease of putting them in my ears and staying there! They are lightweight and when you turn the sound down you can still hear with them in! No muffling from the person speaking to you...

These headphones are great for working out in! They only use the right earbud when you're talking on the phone but the quality of sound and comfort are great! Working out with both earbuds in you wont hear very much outside noise. They are very compact and comfortable!

Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I wanted wireless headphones without the neckless and these have lived up to my expectations. Not only are they small and sleek but the mobility you get is awesome! I work in a factory and wired headphones are pretty much a pain and constantly get in your way. With these I can work and move freely without the hassle. The distance they allow you between your phone and the ear buds before they cut out is fair. I read a few reviews where people were upset that you can’t control the volume from the ear buds. This is true, however, if you have a smart watch you can control the volume from there and switch songs. My watch is very helpful when I’m listening to music on my ear buds. I was also afraid they may fall out of my ears but I haven’t had any issues with that. They seem to fit pretty snug and also come with different ear pieces to adjust to the right size. I would recommend these.

Not bad earphones. The audio is better than decent, but not amazing. It was okay to deal with but not overly satisfied. Yes I downloaded and app and played around with the settings. Out of the box, the audio is flat and bad. What I cant fix is the connections between the two wireless earbuds - it is horrendous. Decent earphones tainted by horrible Bluetooth connections.

Have used for a little over a few weeks now before writing this review. Sound quality is good and the ear buds mainly stay in the ear during use. The biggest concern is the lack of battery life. Basically get about two and half hours of continuous usage before the earbuds lose battery life. Also tried using while driving and quality was poor as there was a continuous humming and intermittent lose of conversation. They seem to be pretty durable, comes with a nice durable storage case and protective case for the storage case and sweat definitely does not effect their performance at all. Was excited to get this product as the reviews we read were really good. If you use for longer workout periods or cannot charge the device as often as you would like (everyday) this is not the product for you.

I have had the Jaybird Runs for about a week now and have used them for a handful of runs and gym workouts. So far my experience with the earbuds has been very good. I have used the Runs with both my phone and series 4 apple watch and have not experienced any of the connectivity problems that early adopters reported. It is my understanding Jaybird fixed the connectivity issue through firmware and the buds that I received already had the latest updates. I only have 2 minor complaints that I think will be resolved over time. While I think the sound on the buds is pretty good, I have had a hard time finding a good sweet spot when mixing the audio using the Jaybird app. My other minor issue so far has been ear fatigue when wearing the buds. I have not experienced any pain or pressure when wearing the buds but I do start to notice them after about 60-90 mins in my ear. I plan to try some comply tips to see if that fixes the issue. Given that the price I paid for the buds was about half what they originally retailed for, I can say that I am pretty happy with my purchase.

I have had four versions of Jaybird headphones from the X2, X3, and Freedoms. I have enjoyed all of them. The Runs are particularly nice because of not having wires. Cons: cannot be around a microwave during use and sound to screen is sometimes off but can be fixed easily. Pros: no wires, easy connecting, multiple fittings for comfort

    Terrible Bluetooth Connectivity

I’ve been waiting for these buds to come out for months. I have the Jaybird X3’s and love them, but the battery life has depleted due to use. I got these buds on the day they released. I tried them on and connected and everything worked well sitting in my chair. Sound was Great. Fit was ok but not bad for buds. They didn’t feel like they would fall out, but the right bud was a bit irritating. It was fine for 20 minutes. Im not sure how an hour of use would feel. The left bud was great. I couldn’t even tell it was in my ear and it was very secure. When I went out for a run I was extremely disappointed. As my left arm moved (I connected with Apple Watch), it would temporarily loose connection. This was so annoying I had to stop my run and went back to my PC to troubleshoot. After reading articles from Jaybird, they acknowledged a Bluetooth connection problem and gave instructions on how to download a firmware update that would fix the problem. I followed the instructions, but the firmware would not update. I kept getting error messages running the update. I found another troubleshooting guide from Jaybird in how to fix the firmware update. I tried multiple USB ports, several microUSB cords, and even two different PC’s but nothing worked. I submitted support tickets but have heard nothing back. I’m extremely disappointed in this product launch and would recommend waiting until Jaybird gets their act together in this product before purchasing.

the battery life is great! and the included case charges the ear buds while it's closed, extending the time you don't have to plug in to charge. my one gripe is the lack of bass response. but you really have to get the sizing of the ear inserts right to get the best sound.

The sound and bass on these is amazing. Waterproof. But the connectivity wasn’t great. I had to return my first pair because the left one wouldn’t connect at all. Then on my new pair, they would both cutout constantly while my phone was in my pocket. Phone calls weren’t great either, only the right one works for those and it picks up ALL the background noise. My wife could hear people talking at the bar 30 feet from me clearer & louder than she could hear me. Also, the ear fatigue is real. But the noise cancellation is awesome. So it’s a give & take. Overall, these are great headphones for music. When they actually connect. And not too great for phone calls or listening for extended periods of time.

There fit my ears very well after switching to the smaller set of gel inserts. They also were easy to set up and don’t have any issues with disconnecting. They also sound great too and are perfect for my running activities!

I’m enjoying there headphones. The sounds quality is good. I love how they fit and they don’t fall. I use it for work and mostly use the right side earpiece to answer the phone. Only thing I don’t like is that i need the other headphone to use Siri. But still happy with them.

The app let's you adjust to your sound preference which is a major plus! However, in a bluetooth heavy area, like the gym, you'll lose connection with the left bud occasionally. The buds also dont allow you to start a song over or go back. Those are the only cons. Fit is great!!
