I have been using these at the gym for 4 weeks no without any problems. Once you get the proper sized fins and earbuds installed, they stay put. Great sound as well that is fully customizable. Favorite part of working out is wearing these!!!

I’ve had these for about 3 weeks, and use them primarily for running. They stay in my ear with no issues, and sound amazing. I have not experienced any disconnection or de-syncing between the 2 ear pieces or my phone. Exactly what I was looking for!

Bought these as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves them! Love the carrying/charging case. They hold their charge for a lot longer than I expected! Great sound and block out all other sound. Perfect for working out, mowing, plane rides, etc.

    Great Sound - Connection Issues

While I love the sound quality of the Jaybird Run, I've experienced connection issues with both my iPad and my iPhone. At times, the left channel drops for seconds at a time. This is particularly true when watching Amazon Prime videos while at the gym. As the video switches to the next episode the left channel almost always drops and requires a restart of the application to reconnect. Even when just using music from the iPhone the left channel will drop. Considering the cost of the product I'm disappointed there has not been a firmware update to resolve the issue.

      Hi rfg123,

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing connectivity issues with your Jaybird Run's left bud. Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.

Here are the Factory Reset instructions that might help resolve this problem:

      To soft reset your earbuds:

-Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.
-Open the charge case and remove your earbud.

      To hard reset your earbuds:

-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.
-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.
-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.
-When you hard reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to forget Jaybird RUN in your phone's Bluetooth device list, repair your earbuds to your Bluetooth device, See How do I pair my Jaybird RUN earbuds? and reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird app.

You can check the Firmware update for Jaybird Run as an added solution. You can find the Firmware Update Assistant here:

      https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/dfu-download/dfurun-win.html

You can also try re-establishing connection between the left and right earbud using the steps found on this link:

I love these. They have many different options for how they can fit your ears. Also the way you can adjust the sound profiles along with how loud they can get creates an amazing experience.

Purchased these for my wife who likes to run. She loves them. Great fit (extra buds to get a custom fit) and great sound. Easy to setup. Charging pod is handy. They have an app for the phone, but she has not used it at this point.

So far I have been very impressed with these ear buds. I sweat a lot when running but have had no issues with sound or the buds staying in place on 6-8 mile runs. The sound quality for the small ear bud without wires is surprisingly good.

Used for mountain biking and running worked excellent. used them in my every day and they start to bother me a little. The only complaint is that after a year, the right earbud stopped charging now the product is useless since the right earbud is the master control.

The Jbird Runs tick all the boxes. They sound great, are comfortable and have worked reliably during the time I’ve owned them. They have one of the best apps for tweaking the sound. I use them for walks and casual listening.

It feels great to be liberated from wires, no wire plugged into the phone (although I must admit, the wire has saved my phone once or twice when I caught my phone by the cord) and no cord connecting my 2 earbuds. Included in the box: 2 earbuds, various fittings, small carrying pouch, USB cable and a charging case that resembles a giant pill. This charging case stores your earbuds and can charge them. Setup: These earphones are very easy to setup, just like any other bluetooth device, you simply pair it to your phone. Downloading the JayBird App will allow you to customize the sound, there are some sound presets or you can create your own sound profile. I found this app to be a must have as the sound quality out of the box was a it weak on the low and mid range. The app also has a “Find My Buds” feature that allows you to locate your earbuds if you misplace them. Each earbud comes with 3 outer and 3 inner fittings. I found the middle ones that came attached worked for me. Also, what I noticed is that these headphones have to be in your ear good and snug to sound good. The rubber tip should be almost inside your ear canal. Playtime: according to manufacturers specs, fully charged RUN’s can last 4 hours. Then you would use the charging case to charge them up again. The case can charge the earbuds up to 8 hours additional. A 5 minute quick charge provides 1 hour of use. In the week that I’ve used these, this seems accurate. When you place them in the case, the 3 LED’s let you know the charge status, green for charged and red on the middle LED lets you know the case itself needs charging. Controls: the controls take a bit of getting used to, trying to remember them all can be a bit confusing at first. Single press to the button on the right earbud will stop/start music or answer call. Single press on the left earbud would activate Siri or Google Assistant. Double press would skip a song or decline a call. Press and hold for 3 seconds will turn on or off, this is true for both left and right earbuds. Press and hold 6 seconds on right earbud and you go into pairing mode. What is absent are volume control. You have to use the phone volume controls. Pros: 1. I like the design of these earbuds, they’re not very large and don’t stick out much when you’re using them. 2. Secure fit - At first, I was a bit paranoid, constantly checking to make sure they did not fall out. But after a few days, I realized they don’t fall out easily. I used these while jogging on the treadmill and did not have any issues with them falling out. 3. Play time of 4 hours is decent, the charging case is fairly small, about 3” and 1 1/2” in diameter. 4. Very good sound quality, on a scale of 1-10, I would give these a 7 as far as sound. Cons: 1. Not being able to control the volume was a bit surprising, but perhaps for the size, it would be difficult to add in volume controls. I used the up/down volume buttons on my iPhone while the phone is in my pocket. 2. Button placement: the button os on the end of the earphone, to press the button, you have to press it towards your ear, this can sometimes be uncomfortable as the earphones are already deep in your ear. 3. If you plan on using these for phone calls, note that the voice comes out of the right ear only. This is not unique to JayBird though, I tried a pair of wireless headphones made by another manufacturer and it works the same. Whereas my bluetooth headset that has a wire, the voice on a phone call is heard on both earbuds. Note: The initial pair of JayBirds I received to test would occasionally disconnect and reconnect, I would hear a click on both ears and then it would reconnect and the music resumes playing. I received a replacement pair that I tested for approximately 5 hours. I did not experience the issue with the new ones, it seems that the issue has been fixed. These are very nice headphones overall. I would recommend these to anyone that is looking for active headphones to wear at the gym or during a commute to work.

I think they're great to use for phone calls and working out but not so much for watching videos the sound is delayed a few seconds, other than that its worth buying, and also they're comfortable and won't fall off from your ears

These have been great. I typically use them while riding my bike (only the right bud in) Or while doing some yard work around the house. I have had the ear bud fall out of my ear twice - once while riding my bike and took me a while to find it. The charging case works really well.

I wanted to love these earbuds. 1st pair lasted one week, (left bud kept cutting in and out). I returned for a new pair, they lasted 2 weeks. I returned that pair as well. The left bud kept cutting in and out. Then after about an hour into my workout the left earbud would get wet from sweat and just shut off. Loved the fit and comfort, but they dont work. I swapped for PowerBeats 3, they are amazing. Thank you Best Buy for excellent customer service.

I love these ear buds. I can wear them both or just one. I like to wear just one when I’m running outside I can still hear what’s going on around me. They stayed in during the whole run which I was skeptical about. Very pleased!!

They can be improved in the future but sound great. They can also be customized to the sound settings on the Jaybird app. The audio cuts of when you listen for a good while and when you get a phone call only one works. Great for the gym not too much for the casual user
