Sound quality is good. Very comfortable in ears for hours. Does not fall off. Being not completely noise cancelling is actually useful in not being shut out of surrounding conversation. You can also wear only right side for phone conversation. Left side is optional. Very easy to connect Bluetooth: right out of charger box. Box very helpful in extending battery life from 4 to additional 8 hours.

I was in the market for new wireless earbuds since my Sony bluetooth earphone stopped charging. I also tend to be a bit of on audiophile and since these were also meant for fitness purposes I had to take some variables into consideration. First and foremost, the fit. I had tried the Jabra Elite 65T and very much enjoyed the sound, however, i sweat a lot when I workout and they wouldn’t stay in my ears once I started sweating. The Run XT stay in place even when I’m sweating and doing sprints. Jaybird earphones in my opinion have probably one of the most balanced sounds. The bass is over exaggerated. It’s quite clear and it’s enough bass for me especially for the type of music I listen too. Mids and high are as crisp as they can possibly be for wireless earbuds in this price range. Compared to the Jabras, the Jaybirds sounds is much better and clearer. I also do like that you can make changes through the app with their equalizer. It gives you absolute control over the entire sound of the earbuds. As for controls, I haven’t really had the chance to familiarize myself with them. Since I have an Apple Watch I find it easier to make any volume changes or track change through the watch vs trying to learn the user interface of the ear buds.

The sound is clear and loud. I wear them in the shower and when i run in the rain. They are hard to sync and sometimes only one bud plays till you fool with it. I am keeping them since they are louder and more waterproof than my galaxy buds, power beats pro's or bose soundsports. They also fit good and stay put in my ears.

Great sound, build and quality. Fits well, doesn't fall off even when sprinting. BT connection is a little weak. Accidently washed it in jacket pocket but it still works unscathed. Compared to precious model, there's no big changes so it's not to much of an upgrade. Better choice to stick to the older model, IMP.

I'm quite pleased with my purchase of the Jaybird RUNXT wireless headphones. They were easy to set up to all of my streaming devises and the Jaybird app is easy to use. The touch controls are simple to operate and the sound quality is good. You have to use the app to customize your sound quality settings. I've tried other wireless headphone, all having issues where they would fall out when running or during intense workouts. These stay snug in my ear and are comfortable, even when wearing all day. The re-charging storage case is the perfect size to place in my pocket or purse. And the battery life has certainly held up to what was promised. All in all, for the money, the Jaybird RUN XT wireless headphone are an excellent buy.

Over the past few years I have had Beats, Bose, JBL, and Jaybird X4 looming for the perfect sound, function, and feel. I loved the sound of the Jaybird X4 but hated the cord that would get stuck on my neck and pull the buds out when I was sweating from the gym or an outdoor run. I was skeptical of these because I tried JBL wireless headphones and they constantly cut out between the left and right ear. But these don't! Amazing customizable sound and great bass tones unlike the tin sound of Beats headphones (the worst!!). Feel comfortable, never come loose when trail running and the battery with the case charge is so awesome!! Can't reccomend these enough after countless years of trying headphones.

I've been a Jaybird fan since the Blue Buds right on up to the X4's. Always getting better and better and blowing away the competition. Was excited to try the Run and then the Run XT's. I've tried pretty much every True wireless brand out there and the Run XT are quite good. Better quality sound than all in the price range except Bose's. But I prefer the in ear isolation of the Jaybird's. The Bose sounded a bit better but don't seal out the outside sound. Only negative about them is no on bud volume control. Have to control it on phone. Ultimately I went with the Sennheiser Momentum but those are almost twice the price of the Jaybird Run XT. Unsurpassed sound but above many consumers budget. Worth every penny for me though!!!

Got these for my teenage daughter who is very active and likes to run. Quality is great as is the fit for her active lifestyle. My only complaint (and a notable one) is that the first pair had to be returned due to a reoccurring pairing issue (a common complaint from my research). This second pair has been fantastic and the DOD price cannot be beat! Had to rate these average unfortunately as reliability is suspect and the regular price is high in my estimation.

I originally bought these for myself but I couldn't seem to find the right fit for me. I like to go on hikes, runs etc. But they don't stay n by ear very well and I find myself tucking them back in my ear often. I ended up giving them to my son who is 16 year old, big and tall and they fit him very good, he uses them just about every day for his workouts. They get pretty wet and still work good. Other than that, the sound is very good on them also when you are on a call and they come in a little case which serves as a charger and case. NOTE: My son gives them a 5 but I give them a 4 because of the fit.

I liked the fit of these buds. The battery life was good and the app was neat to play with the equalizer function but that’s where my positive feedbacks stops. The case would come open in your pocket and trigger the pods to connect to the phone unintentionally. While listening or on a call they would disconnect and reconnect intermittently regardless of the device you were paired to or how close the device was to the headphones. ImWhen you take a phone call you only get audio out of one earbud. You can’t just have one or the other pulled out and paired. The buttons to activate different functions were so hard to push imI felt like i was trying to permanently mate the ear buds to my ear drums which caused a lot of pressure in the ear canal.

The sound quality like most JayBird headphone are good out of the box, but can be tweaked to your liking via the app. They stay in your war well when working out too. I've ran and biked with them several times and I've had no issue with them staying in my ears. The only issue I have with the are the controls. The button is not easy to press and ends up jamming the headphones deep into the ear which is a bit annoying and common place in lots of headphones of this style. At the original price point they should have the soft touch controls.

Great Ear Fit, Delayed Sound for Video, Bad Mic

I definitely enjoy the charging case for these earphones and they have great charge. The optional ear fittings are perfect and work perfectly during my lifting and running sessions. However, when it comes to video, there is a significant delay. The mic also picks up all the ambient/surrounding sound. This makes it hard for people on the other line to get clear sound quality.

Awesome sound with the equalizer app you can adjust how the music sounds, awesome fit, low profile and very comfortable, comes with many different bud and fin sizes. Last about 4 hours of battery life with an additional through case. Case could be a tad more premium but it’s just fine, stay in my ears really well, I’ve owned air pods as well as the expensive B&O Plays and the Jaybirds are by far my favorite!

Headphones are ok, fits is ok, sometimes does not connect instantly, also connecting just one earbud is likely to be the right side. I still haven’t had the chance to connect the left by itself. Sound is great and small. Headphones are good but not will you pay full price. I will be returning these as they don’t meet my expectations.

These wireless sports headphones sound great and are effectively waterproof. They create a rock solid strong and stable Bluetooth connection. --DESIGN AND USE-- To get the best sound and fit, it is important to first choose the ear tips and ear fins that fit your ear size best. The ear tips should totally cover your ear canal. Included are round and oval silicone ear tips in sizes small and medium. The ear fins come in 4 different sizes. Once I got a good fit it was very easy to forget that I was wearing them. They also never felt as if they were going to fall out of my ears. The hard case and headphones are functionally an integrated system. The case stores and protects them while doubling as an external battery. Simply insert them into the case to charge them. To charge the case use the included micro USB cable. This very clever design safeguards the headphones from loss or damage by requiring that they be kept in the case to be charged. The headphones fit perfectly into the case, and a charging indicator lights on the case displays the battery level. I really like that these headphones automatically turn on when removed from the case. When I remove the right one from the case, it turns on automatically and pairs to my phone. Then I remove the left one and it automatically turn on and pairs to the right one. This is preferable to having to power each one individually. They also automatically turn off when returned to the case. The right headphone is the primary and the left headphone cannot be used independently of the right one. So, if you intend to use only one, it must always be the right one. Also the left one must be within a few inches of the right one to work. It took about two hours to fully charge the case and headphones. After being fully charged the headphones are rated to last 4 hours. The case is rated to charge them another 2 times, for a total of about 12 hours of rated use. After several charge cycles I found the rated times to be accurate, and actually got a little longer that 4 hours of use at moderate volume levels. A 5 minute charge can provide one hour of playtime. The multi-function control buttons worked well once I got used to it. The right and left headphones each have a button. The buttons can play/pause, skip forward, answer/end calls, decline calls, and activate Siri or Google Assistant. The headphones are very lightweight and because of the silicone ear tips very comfortable to wear. It is very easy to forget that you are wearing them. The headphones and case look and feel very well constructed. They are very attractive and prominently display the Jaybird symbol. The IPX7 rating makes them waterproof. While I fully intend to not submerge them in water, it is nice that if they did go in the drink that they will not be ruined. --SOUND QUALITY-- For me the most important thing about headphones is that they sound good. These headphones deliver hard hitting premium sound quality. The sound is detailed, accurate, and full range. They also put out an impressive amount of volume and bass for their size. If this is your first pair of high end headphones you are going to be blown away at how good they sound. The Jaybird App has several different EQ presets available to help customize the sound. There is also a customizable EQ, so that you can adjust the sound to your individual preference and to accommodate various content. This is critical because content can be mixed at such different levels that adjusting the EQ can help greatly with performance. When on a call they default to mono sound, which is preferable so there is not an annoying echo. The call quality is typical for compact headphones. --BOTTOM LINE-- I give the Jaybird RUN XT headphones excellent marks for design, sound quality, and comfort. They are perfect for taking on outside adventures. The strong and stable Bluetooth connection and waterproof design makes these the best active lifestyle wireless headphones on the market.

The sound quality is incredible and with the app makes it even better. Having the different fittings helps a lot so they fit my ear. The only complaint is when I sweat while I am running they work their way out of my ears. The longest I have been able to wear them running is 30 minutes before they start to fall out of my ear and I have a half marathon coming up. This is a problem I experience with most earbuds. But, everything else about them is great!

I bought this to replace an older set of the same co. I like the way they fit and stay in your ear. The sound is great, ear pods connect immediately when the charging case is opened. The charge will last quite a long time. I almost listened to an audiobook with 24 lectures which took about 8 hrs.
