Can’t beat the sound and comfort of these. Love the eq app and even offers a personal eq setting. They sound amazing and fit well in my ears. The braided cable is nice and never tangles but can be a little noisy when it rubs on your collar. Sound isolation is good and comes with several size ear tips. Best I’ve owned.

I have tried all headphones. Bose, beats, Sony, and then Jaybird. I have had them for about a month and the battery is more than lasting for my 2hr workouts sessions three times a week. Sound is very comparable to Bose, but the fit is way tighter. Not noise cancellation function, but it does isolate you a bit from the noisy gym.

I've own the BeatsX prior to purchasing this set. They sound better than the BeatX to me. The sound is more balanced. They are also comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. The battery life is awesome.

i've owned many many bluetooth headphones in the past 7-8 years. these stand out cause they are pretty much in my opinion all in one from being sweatproof to the long battery life, they last me all day and sound great. and when not in use the magnetic buds come in very handy, the braided cable is awesome compared to others that would feel sticky around my neck after a jog. reason for 4 stars is the mic can use some improvements cause of noise feedback on cable while on call. overall best i've ever purchased.

These headphones have among the best sound in their category of earbuds, and are very durable with a great premium feeling. My one pet peeve would be the braided cable does not create friction on your neck. When you take the headphones out for not listening to music or when speaking to people around campus, the headphones may fall off instead of staying put on your neck. You have to use the clip to your shirt to prevent this, which solves the problem but is a small annoyance.

Coming from the jaybird x3 I can say this is a good upgrade since the battery is increased to 14 hours and the sound is just spectacular. Also my problem with the x3s is that the gums would fall off. With the tarah pros they wont come off since theyre securely attached. Great upgrade.

Great Battery Life

It's amazing. I also own the jaybird freedoms and these are by far a great upgrade. the battery life lasts for longer periods so i don't have to charge it frequently. the range is great as well when paired with a BT 5.0 device (i'm using the pixel 2).
pros:
- great battery life
- great sound quality
- magnet keeps them nicely tied when not in use (and pauses the music as well)
- easy to switch from over ear to under ear configuration
- can be comfy in the ear for long term wearing *
*note that this is only if you're able to find the exact fit that works for your ears
cons
- the adjustable tie is good, but comes out easily
- sometimes it's hard to find the best fit in your ear
- proprietary charger
- pairing between two devices isn't as seamless as other jaybird devices. this one is only active with one device at a time (unless i'm missing something) and you have to pull out your phone if you're switching from laptop/tablet to phone to connect them.

Long lasting and well designed earbuds

I've been using wireless headphones, etc, (and many different kinds) for years. The price on these Jaybirds are very reasonable, especially given these features: 1) battery life is amazing (e.g. only 20% battery drain after using it for 3 hours straight), 2) ergonomic earbuds in 2 sizes that fit comfortably even through intense sweating, 3) well designed and located controls that are easy to use, 4) earbuds with magnetic backs that connect when not in use to prevent loss. Weight on the Jaybirds are also good, just enough to let the user know they are there.
Only con so far (after 2 months of use in various conditions) is that the Jaybirds just randomly disconnected from my phone. Apparently this is a known problem and can be fixed by reconnecting the earbuds to the charger. After I did so, haven't experienced that issue again.

I wanted a way to listen to music while blocking some road/wind noise on my motorcycle. Originally bought a Cardo but wasn't satisfied with how loud I had to turn up the unit and the lack of noise protection. I returned the Cardo and had tried several other products unsuccessfully. True wireless earplugs wouldn't stay in my ears while putting on my helmet and I was concerned about them dropping out. Many other brands are too big to fit under my helmet. The Tarah Pro stayed in my ears well and the cord reduces my worry about loss while riding. The sound is good and offers some noise protection. I do have to remove the ear padding in my Shoei and the control unit isn't super easy to use with gloves but the package works well overall. Also, I bought them on sale so a great value.

Had previously taken the plunge, buying more expensive work-out headphones than past cheaper types when I bought a pair of Bose which I did like and enjoy. At the time I purchased them was choosing between Bose and Jaybird. After about a year I accidentally dropped my Bose in parking lot and when found they were damaged beyond repair. So decided to try jaybird Tarah Pro which was my first time for wireless headphones. Research I'd done proved to be accurate...the Jaybird fits tighter in the ear and lets less outside noise in...which works better in the gym. Bose doesn't have that tight fit and lets some outside noise in which is safer if running outside. Both have their pros and cons. It's nice not to have the wires...only irritation to me is every now and then have difficulty pairing with my Ipod. Other than that, really like these.

Had the originals and tried again even though my first pair basically stopped working. Battery life is best out there right now. Not sexy at all and fit makes you heat like you are under water. Not worth the price. Sound quality is fairly good even for me, a sound snob, only because the free app allows you to change the equalizer settings

Okay headphones, not great for audioconferencing

I purchased these headphones because of the battery life and quick charging time. For those 2 items, they are great.
However, I spend a lot of my time traveling and on phone calls both on my phone and on videoconferencing (Zoom, Skype, etc). These headphones refuse to connect to my Macbook Pro. The few times that I do connect them, they disconnect randomly or I cannot get them connected quick enough so my clients are sitting in silence while I try to connect. Or when they do not connect, I am sitting in a public place like an airport or hotel lobby talking to my clients through the computer's audio.
I wrote to Jaybird about the issue and their customer service team was extremely helpful. They even sent me a replacement set but I still experienced the same issues.
I used wireless Beats for 2 years and never once had an issue with connecting them to a computer or switching between my phone and computer. I plan to go back to Beats. If you're looking for headphones for working out and travel where you are not relying on them to connect to your computer or switch between devices, these are a great option. If you rely on headphones for work, I would stay away.

I was a little hesitant to buy them ,they are a little expensive, but they are fantastic. I use them for running and the sound is excellent, battery life lives up to the 14 hour spec, and they are very light. I highly recommend them.

I had to return my X4 because they stopped working. So far, these sound better and fit better. I like the cord and the fit. The long battery gives me about 3 days of use at the gym in the morning and during the day while working.

These headphones are great. The sound is great, the quality is great, the price is not too bad and overall they are super easy and comfortable to use. I had the Bose wireless headphones and when they got damaged, I decided to try these ones, and I definitely made the right choice. Using these headphones for a long period of time (when I do my long distance runs) does not bother my hears. They feel comfortable the entire time. I like the way you could wrap them over you eat which makes them more secure when your running. I also like that you don’t even feel them bounce as your running since you could adjust them. Overall, one of the best headphones I’ve purchased and as of right now my favorite ones.
