I am always looking for a good pair of headphones and the Jaybird Tarah Pro’s are one of my favorites. These in-ear headphones have a number of great perks that keep me reaching for them. Below you will find a number of positives and a few of the negatives for the Tarah Pro’s Positives: + Perhaps the most important factor is sound. I don’t know if this is technically true, but for whatever reason, they just sound better than all of the other Jaybird headphones I have tried. I simply love the sound I can get from the Tarah Pros. + Jaybird provides a great app that can be used for a number of their headphones. This app allows the user to make sound profile changes to the headphones either manually or by selecting from previously created presets. + A braided cable makes these Jaybird ’s feel like a more high-quality device, especially when compared to the companies other headphones (X3’s and X4’s). + Magnet earbuds are a nice touch that will automatically pause the music. This feature also makes the headphones feel more secure when wrapped around the neck. I personally like to put the headphones together using the magnet feature when I store them in their pouch. + These headphones have what Jaybird calls SwitchFit. Basically, this allows the Tarah Pro earbuds to be rotated, making it easy to let the user switch between under the ear or the over the ear wearing positions. I personally have found the over the ear position to be more secure especially when exercising. + One of my personal favorite features is that the volume down control feels like a minus and the volume up button feels like a plus on the headphones controller. This seemingly small feature makes it much easier to use the controls by touch. + There are a number of accessories that come in the box, including a simple carrying pouch, a magnetic charging cradle, and three different sized ear gels (to help achieve the ideal fit). Negatives: - The controller is fairly large and can cause the headphones to feel unbalanced when they are being worn. While this is negative, the Tarah Pro’s controller doesn’t feel as large when compared to other Jaybird models. - I have never liked Jaybird’s proprietary charging system. While I don’t like the proprietary system, I do like that the charging cradle is magnetic which makes it easier to attach/detach when needed. I just hope I don’t lose the charger because I really don’t want to order a new one from the company. - These headphones do not come with foam ear tips, some users may want foam ear tips for a better fit. In looking over my review, I have a lot more positives than negatives. The funny thing is I only mentioned a few of the headphones positives. I would definitely recommend these headphones as they have great sound, convenient features/accessories, and Jaybird has taken the time to do the big things and the little things extremely well.

Love these. Great fit. Great sound quality. Great battery life. What can I say? They are great! I use them for running, bike riding (mostly city), and working out. Hold tight I’m my earholes no matter what I am doing.

The buds provide a long lasting charge of 14 hrs. The sound is great & and you can adjust it with the app. I’ve taken showers with the buds & an it sustained the test. The ear plastic removal parts are the feature you have to adjust too. There are 3 sizes that still is not for everyone. As you sweat continue to feel around for the buds in case it falls because you can lose them. The noise reduction is pretty good on the buds. There chance on it malfunctioning at times so have the 2 year warranty purchased. Overall it’s a bit pricey but less expensive than the beats pro & it has longer use then the Bose products but I would wait for the pop up deals to buy this product. Again purchase the &40 dollar warranty quick.

The battery life is amazing. Sounds awesome with EQ. The only thing I would like to change are the fins. With the x3 I was able to change the earbuds and fins to whatever worked for me, now with them attached, while it did resolve the issue I had with the earbuds falling off the headphones , the fit is not as comfortable. Overall amazing purchase and recommend for both the gym and normal use.

I was sceptical at first with these because of the waterproof rating and range, but these headphones blew me out of the water. The sound quality is amazing and customizable, the range is far better than expected, and they are truly water resistant. I am an auto detailer so I have headphones in from the time I clock in until I leave and I am constantly around water and chemicals. These have been splashed, sweat on, and dropped and have yet to stop working or even have a slightly diminished quality of use. I would highly recommend these to anyone from just using them every other day at the gym or using them for 10 hours a day at work. Great job Jaybird. I will never purchase another headphones brand again.

The fit is great and they’re completely adjustable, the battery is so long lasting it’s amazing! Sound quality from these is the best I’ve heard from a set like this! You won’t regret this purchase.

I currently had the Jaybird X3's which weren't bad but I decided to upgrade. The Tarah Pros have improved many aspects since the X3's. Incresed battery life, braided cable (which helps from cable gripping on your neck and pulling out an earbud), earbuds magnetically connect (helps them from falling off unnoticed), play and pause feature when earbuds are connected magnetically, and the personally custom EQ on the app which is awesome. I highly recommend upgrading if you are contemplating it. If you're going to use these while doing strenuous activities especially outside, I recommend getting the black ones. I got the Titanium color and I know over time they WILL get dirty from outdoor activities. Overall I couldn't be happier with my T-PROs.

I previously had PowerBeats 3 and was pretty happy with them overall, but they constantly needes to be messed with (pushed back in, adjusted, ect..). So I switched to the Sony XB NC over the ear headphones which are also definitely worth the money, but long story short they're not always practical when working out especially when it's hot. Since my wife took over my PowerBeats I decided to try something different and I am super happy with the Tarah Pro's...I've now won them almost 3 full days with 2 of them being lifting sessions at the gym and I haven't had to touch them once I put them in. They also have excellent sound quality and the passive noise canceling works great due to how well they fit. Would recommend and buy again for sure.

When wearing the Jaybirds and exercising they fell out often because of the way they are placed in the ear. Background noise was not cancelled as well because of the loose fit. Sound quality good. Battery life good. Moisture and perspiration made the ear pieces fall out easier. Not for the person who is very active unless they have a different method of securing them to the ear.

I’ve had numerous Bluetooth headphones (including earbuds) before. And also had numerous wired earbuds including $50 ones up to $300-$350 range. I currently own Sony wh-1000xm2 headphones and Apple Air Pods. These have sound slightly better than Air Pods with added benefits of working well with both Android and iOS devices as well as being more activity oriented with better seal in ear and water resistance. They don’t sound as good or offer the noise canceling of the big Sony over-ear “cans” but they are also more portable by far. If you have $160 to spend on earphones, want a good sounding wireless set that has reliable Bluetooth and don’t mind not being true wireless (these do have cable between buds)...then you can’t go wrong with these!!!

Bought these headphones going off several reviews I saw online. Not bad..but honestly for the price I expected more. You have the ability to change the EQ on the app which does help. As for fit, snug headphones...still working on the placement for the control device which sits on the right side of your head. If I had to do it again I would have went with the non pro version.

Let me first tell you that the customer support for the company is awesome! Lost my charger (proprietary which is my only complaint), but they got me a new one free of charge. The battery life is great on these and the sound quality is good too. The ear buds are easy to adjust but they can move around a little. My wife complains that my mic picks up too much sound around me but that doesn't affect my experience. You can easily wear just one ear bud in and still talk and move around. The magnetic buds that hook together to wear has a necklace comes in handy but they can come lose so be careful not to loss them. Overall, great product. I would by them again just because of the costumer support.

Great sound quality and design. Fits well in the ear, I have butter ears no headphones stay during workouts, but it does a good job and never fell down, Only problem i see is frequently unpaired from connected device and re-pair it again otherwise excellent earphones. The Magnetic lock is awesome and stays in neck.

Good sound. Stays in place. Charge lasts a long time. Not a ton of bass.

These are good headphones. I wear them while I am working outside all day. The two things I don’t like about them are that I have to wrap them over my ears in order for them not to fall out. Because I have to do this, the microphone is behind my head so I have to move them to talk on them. Otherwise the sound is good quality and they are comfortable.

The sound quality is the best of all the “fitness” earbuds I’ve used. I had every version of Jaybird sports earbuds since the original BlueBuds X, as well as all the other popular brands, and the Tarah Pros are definitely the best yet, imo. The Jaybird app allows you to personalize the sound to your own preference. The build quality is also great...sweat/waterproof, the magnets in the buds help them stay put around your neck when you’re not actually using them. The fins keep the buds locked in your ears. I workout pretty hard and run about 3-5 miles and haven’t had them fall out yet. So, in conclusion, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of sports earbuds.

These earbuds are very reliable. The battery on these earbuds alone is a good reason to consider getting a pair. In addition the audio quality is good as well and the buds can be tuned by an equalizer on their app. You can take these on the shower, but it heavy rain with no worries either. The magnets are a good rich and they can be worn directly in your ears or over your ears for a tighter fit. Nice size so the wire stays out your way. The call quality is good as well and these buds should be considered when for sleeping next to those who may snore lol. A potential also buds for sure with excellent batty life at 50 percent or so.

Only average because they are not made to last. Sound quality and comfort are excellent, for a while. After about a year, started to have problems with connectivity and battery. Make sure you buy the Best Buy replacement warranty.

I move up from Jaybird X2’s to Tarah pro’s the biggest improvement was the fit which also translates to better sound do to less External noise interference and because of the better seal there’s a big improvement in bass performance with adds to the overall enjoyment in total sound performance of the Tarah’s.
