Don't waste your time or money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its garbage....I'm using a Samsung Note Plus. Ear cuts in and out, app isn't worth anything but sometimes helping get the Bluetooth to connect, often times the Bluetooth randomly cut off. I've tried to ignore the obvious in lieu of the convenience of hands-free with something that will still go around my neck and clip to clothing but this set is just ridiculous. I've had Jayburd before and wanted to stick with the brand but I just can't with this set. Also the cost for insurance is getting to be astronomical even tho I do recommend it. For the last four purchases the insurance has increased each time but on the flip side I've had to use it also. Too much money for products that aren't reliable from the beginning.

Poor product, great customer service
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked well for a short while then it just wouldn’t charge anymore. Someone else who has the same ones had the same issue. Had to get a replacement using the warranty. Brand customer service was great though. Unfortunately, not happy with product.

Great Fit, Great Sound Quality, Great Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the $159.99 price tag I expected an exceptional product. The Jaybird Tarah Pro did not disappoint. They have exceptional sound quality and fit securely. The battery life is great. I have not tested them to see if the claimed 14 hours of battery life is accurate. However, I have used them for more than 12 hours with no problems. I hate losing my music because I forgot to charge my earbuds, so I am obsessive about keeping them full of juice. I love that when you magnetize them together it automatically pauses your music. Then, when you're ready to go again, just put them back in and your tunes resume. Admittedly, the fit did take some getting used to. These are my first pair of Jaybirds, so I am not used to the silicone fins and seal the buds create in your ear. I run, Nordic ski, bike and workout in the gym with them and they stick in my ears like Sugar Daddy sticks to your teeth - only not annoying or painful, and without the need to visit a dentist. I haven't played with customizing the sound with the Jaybird app. This is because I am always short on time and I am just so happy with how they sound out of the box. I suppose it could be fun to geek out on customizing the EQ settings with the app in the future. When I workout, the ability to cinch the cord tight(ish) in the back keeps everything clutter-free. I was considering the Jaybird Run because I was worried the cord would bother me. But it hasn't been a problem - except when I only want to wear one bud. With only one bud in, the other (resting across my opposite shoulder) dangles and drags and can pull against the one in my ear. I keep having to readjust the cord/other bud. This 'problem' is, obviously, not a design flaw, just a flaw with how I use them at times - usually at work so I can hear if anyone is trying to get my attention, a life design flaw. I would just say this is something to think about if you are considering true wireless in-ear headphones, like the Jaybird Run. I haven't tested them in very wet conditions, but the fact they are waterproof provides peace of mind. In fact, for me, the peace of mind was well worth the $30 upgrade from the X4s which are only sweat and water resistant. I can take these out and not worry about ruining them if it is raining during my bike ride, or snowing hard while skiing. As mentioned, this peace of mind is easily worth an extra $30 on an already relatively expensive investment in earbuds. I don't often review products, but I make exceptions when I have exceptionally good experiences.

BUY THESE!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to spend 160 on quality headphones, as I feared they wouldn't stay in my ear. I've owned Sony , Shure , Bose and even Westones! So I was also sceptical of sound quality. I read up on these and was STOKED about the 14 hour run time, not to mention the 5 minute charge for 2 hours of music! No other headphones have these features. NONE. They even magnetize together and the music will pause until you separate the headphones! This also helps avoid losing them. On top of all that the Jaybird app is great, you can pick from preset settings or customize the sound yourself. It can even locate your headphones should you loose them!! The sound quality is EXCELLENT, and noise canceling is superb. These things get LOUD and you can't hear anything except your music! I put them on and was seriously surprised. Not only did the music sound great but the headphones STAY IN my ears ! They're nice and snug. Ive beenrunning, exercising, working, with zero problems..I even put on some Disturbed and started head banging just to see if they'd at least come loose but had no luck! THIS IS WITHOUT THEM HOOKED AROUND MY EARS!! I'm so impressed that at age 42 this is my first time ever leaving a review online. If you are hesitating and have the money GO FOR IT!!

Don’t buy these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all you can’t charge them with any phone charger because it can’t be charged with more than 1 volt so that mean you have to plug them into a computer USB or you will ruin the battery. I was excited getting these because of the “14 hours of playback”. I was having troubles the first day with them lasting 3 hours and today is the second day and it’s been a 1 hour and they are dead. So I did some research and the is a common problem with Jaybird, some people say they are getting 8 hours but that’s still pretty short of 14 hours. I don’t understand how you can make a “premium” product and be this bad. Sad to say i will return them tomorrow.

Itsa no for me...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to like these but they just didn't do it for me... I used them for a week and they've been boxed awaiting return ever since... my music sounds horrible in these... there's no bass and the treble is terrible... the programmable EQ just makes it worse because even the slightest change improves one thing but causes a slew of other issues... the reviews for these headphones were great... but I've concluded that they were written by people who were not as concerned with their music as they were about their workouts... but because both are important to me I'll admit they did stay in place as I exercised... it's too bad that all I wanted was to turn them off...

Sound great, long battery life, great price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price these sell for they're a steal! They sound great, without any listening fatigue. The Jaybird app is nice and allows the sound to be tailored to your listening preference, or you can select from one of the preprogramed EQ curves. I like how they magnet together to keep the cord nice and untangled when curled up for storage, and the little pouch they come with has a nice spring clip closure to keep everything secure. The only 2 gripes I have are the proprietary charger... it's kind of akward to use, and the cable is super short. Not only is the charger proprietary to these ear buds, but it's also different from my other Jaybird wireless ear buds as well. I was kinda looking forward to having a second charger so I could leave one at work, and the other at the house, but the charger doesn't work on my other headphones, and the other charger won't work on these... that's a bad design choice IMO. The other gripe I have is the replaceable rubber pieces that go in my ear only change the little hoop that keeps them pressed into the ear. The little bud cover is the same size on all 3 of the rubber covers so if it's a bit to tight like in my case, or a bit too loose, switching bud covers won't help. Overall though these are really nice earbuds, and with the battery lasting so long the charger issue isn't as much of an issue as it could've been.

Posted .Hi Chris,
We are sorry to hear that your Jaybird Tarah Pro disconnects and loses charge and we'll be glad to help you out! Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
Please try these suggestions that can help to resolve the issue of your headset's battery:
- Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
- Try a different power source/charger
- Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
- Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2 hours,
- To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
- Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
- Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

TERRIBLE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was totally let down by these earbuds. I’ve been a Jaybird fan for years now and have several different pair. These did not fit you could not adjust them to make them fit and Jaybyrd them self couldn’t tell me how to fix them. The Bill theater not custom fit into your ear was a big letdown. I tried for two weeks to find a way to work with them But could not find a way to make them work. They also allow too much sound for the outside to come in causing the sound to not be as clear as the X3 with the previous jaybird’s. Jaybyrd is made a major mistake in this pair and the others in the . Do not do not do not do not do not buy these.

Meh! Just ok
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these earbuds based on the fairly positive reviews. They are somewhat uncomfortable in the ear. After about 45 minutes my ears started to ache. There is substantial cord noise. So whenever you move or turn your head the cord noise really is hard to ignore. Another issue is that it comes with a special charge cord. It is specifically made for these earbuds. So if you are unfortunate enough to lose them.....your out of luck. You can't use any other USB cord/charger. This was my first purchase of the Jaybird brand. Based on this experience....it is also my last. Would not recommend these to anyone.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited for this headphones. Posted .Hi csv987,
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing connectivity issues with Jaybird Tarah Pro and we'll be glad to help you out! Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.
Please try the following suggestions to resolve the issue of your headset:
-Move your earbuds and your Bluetooth audio device closer as you may be experiencing Bluetooth interference. While the range of most Bluetooth devices is 10 meters (33 feet), the optimal range for any Bluetooth stereo device is about 60 centimeters (2 feet) from the audio source.
-Your earbuds Bluetooth antenna is located in the inline remote. Try moving your audio device closer to the side where the inline remote is located. For example, you can try moving your audio device to your right pocket instead of your left.
-Reset your Bluetooth connection by turning your device's Bluetooth off for one minute and then back on.
-Turn your audio device off and then back on.
-Complete a reset of your earbuds.

Don't buy these!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these to replace my Bose bluetooth headphones. These disconnect all the time, says my battery is low when it is fully charged then shuts off. While charging, it freezes and remains on and kills the battery. If you are near any other bluetooth headphone these will lose connection, I hold my phone to my head at it still losses connection. I have called Jaybird customer support and they won't do anything to fix this because I am past the 60 days. Please don't buy these, I am still looking for a good pair of headphones that will be great for the gym and running. I may go back to Bose.
