JUNK!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The earbuds are absolute junk. I had the original vista earbuds and when these came out I was excited to buy. The sounds is very inconsistent. Sometimes its loud sometimes its noticeably lower. For the first 4 months of having these, they would randomly disconnect during every single use after about an hour. Now the battery is not lasting long and is not charging all the way in one bud. I would avoid these.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great sound and great features. almost perfect headphones! if the comfort was a little better I would say they are perfect otherwise these headphones are the only ones that I trust to stay in my ears for long runs.

Just a bad batch? Likely not.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I initially got them, I was very excited to see what the updated version of the original Vistas had to offer. Unboxing was nice, organization was pretty good, and presentation was alright. Trying to open these with one hand can be incredibly tricky due to how smooth and slippery the case is. Even two hands have the case slipping and sliding like a bar of wet soap. I tried to connect to my phone and it paired fairly easily, though all Jaybird earphones have a bit of a buggy connection interface with Samsung phones. I connect, update, then kept the Jaybird app open to mess around with the EQ. Straight away, the right ear bud begins to "discharge" at about 5% every 5 to 10 seconds and once they hit 50% they disconnect. I know they're still charged because when I put them in the case and take them back out, the cycle begins again. Once the right one dies, the left begins to crackle until they too disconnect. I did all the trouble shooting steps the app gave me and nothing worked to fix the problem. Upon doing some research, I found out that these things are notorious for doing similar things that they've done to me. Even replacements follow the same problems. Not going to send back for replacement. Not worth the wait.

Could Not Update or Charge!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bougjht this today, 11/19. They would not charge after 10 hours. They would not stay connected and would not download the update without freezing every time. I am so disappointed! I cannot believe this! They will go back tomorrow as soon as I am able! I have Jaybird X3s from years ago I NEVER had a problem. This is unacceptable Jaybird!!!

Pretty Impressive
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds hit the ground running with one of the easiest setups of any bluetooth device I have used. My phone recognized the Jaybirds as soon as I opened the case for the first time near my phone and they paired right away. I was then directed to the app in the Google Play store to install the Jaybird app to handle EQ, ANC and Passthrough settings. The build quality is great and I really appreciate the understated look of the case with it's matte finish and simple design. The magnets that hold the buds in the case are super strong and I have absolutely zero worries about them falling out while traveling. It's a toss up as to how well the cloth on the earbuds will hold up long term but it does provide a very nice aesthetic and feel when using the tap controls and buttons. Pressing the buttons actually requires a bit more pressure than I was expecting and I can't say that's a bad thing. I quite prefer that they require a more deliberate press so they do not actuate while inserting the buds or just handling them in general. The Vista 2s sit in the upper end of the spectrum in regards to sound quality for bluetooth headphones. They have a slightly V shaped sound signature on default settings with the upper emphasis coming a little lower in the treble range than most V shaped headphones I have heard. This can be tailored to the your tastes via the app and they take to being EQ'd quite well. Some of the preset options are a bit too exaggerated for my tastes but there is nearly an endless number of user made EQ sets and you can always tune your own. Alternatively you use the custom mode that tunes the EQ based on your personal hearing as determined by playing test tones in the app. It's a pretty neat feature and I recommend giving it a try. Passthrough audio works well and doesn't seem to suffer from overamplification or delay. ANC works decently but I feel my issues with fitment may be hindering performance here. That takes us to my only real issue with Jaybird Vista 2s, fitment. The stabilizing wings and body shape are great and fit perfectly in my outer ear. However, for an ideal fit I would need something in between the provided M and L sizes as far as the tips go. Unfortunately since the cover, fin, and tip are all one piece I cannot use 3rd party options such as comply or spin fits. I'm sure this is to ensure proper fit in the charging case but it's still a little disappointing. I most commonly end up using the M tips as they are more comfortable while still staying firmly in place but I am missing out on a fair bit of sound isolation. I am still very pleased with these earbuds and the features they offer but with a slight design tweak they could have been a 5 star option for me. If the tips work out for you I think you will be very happy with these for day to day and gym use and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Dishearted loyal Jaybird customer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was really excited to get this headset as I love the X4 headset from the same company. Just over a month of using it and a software update was force downloaded onto my buds and charging case. The left earbud no longer charges after this update. Did all the troubleshooting to no avail. Really bummed I paid $200 bucks for a single ear bud.

Worst Jaybird Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Jaybird headphones for years. I started with the Tarah and then went through several pairs of Tarah Pros and liked both of them for running, going to the gym and listening to all day at work. I recently bought the Vista 2 thinking they would be a good true wireless Jaybird headphone. They are not! I constantly have to disconnect and reconnect even when going from one song to the next, in the same app. They will randomly produce a loud digital sound and disconnect. When I am talking on the phone and sort of metal to metal contact, i.e. keys, produces a terrible interference. I can leave them in the case overnight and one will be a 100% the next morning while one will be at 40%. When I last opened the case to replace the the case came apart. Also, this is my second set so it's not just one bad pair, it's a problem with the overall quality of this model. The first set cost $200 and the second set was $169 way too much for the quality. The only bright side is I have insurance and will be able to return them. After all these years these will be the last Jaybird headphones I will own.

Just Ok
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Original Jaybird Vista are better. They look nice and feel comfortable but they do not work as anticipated. They have a new sensor built in, so if you remove one to wipe sweat or clean, It pauses the music, not a fan. The app does not work half the time, headphones will connect to my phone but not the app. Major disappointment, my presets will not load and noise cancellation does not work.
