Durable Basic Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones after two pair of the Bose Wireless SoundSport headphones stopped working after three uses each. The Bose fit more comfortably in my ear and were also much better sound quality than these are. The Jaybirds are very durable though, provide consistent and long lasting battery life, and they are easy to link via Bluetooth to my IPhone. My biggest complaint is that they have no bass to them at all and the sound quality overall is sub-par. They stay in the ear pretty well and have lasted through a two hour run with plenty of battery to spare. If I could get a Bose set again and they'd be reliable, I'd switch for sound quality but reliability being one of the most important things in distance running with headphones, these have been very good. That is why I give them 4 stars.

Excellent sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had 4 pairs of wireless earbuds and they were average, I decided I could've invested in one good quality product with the amount I previously spent. I coughed up the $129 and it was good investment. The sound quality is fantastic. I returned the beats by dre headphones because they had too much bass than I prefer and the sound quality is overrated. These Jay birds stay in the ear while sweating at the gym for 2 hours and sync easily to my Samsung note 5. It has a buttons on the right side to skip songs, pause, and change volume easily. I don't see myself buying another set of headphones.. Great purchase!

Quality Bluetooth Earbuds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked around at various bluetooth earbuds and needed something that would stay in my ear no matter what. I wanted something wireless so that I wouldn't be tied to a cord. I tried both the Jabra Sport Coach and SOL Republic Shadow headphones. The sound quality on the Jabra headphones was the worst I've heard on bluetooth ever. They did fit very well though. The SOL Republic headphones sounded good but the collar part wasn't very comfortable and I didn't believe they would stay in if I was running. In addition they lacked a case for them, so I couldn't store them safely when not using them. I did some research and found the Jaybird X2's. First the sound quality is great, its on-par with entry level wired headphones. The fit for them is great, I tried out a couple of the pieces and found the perfect fit. The case for them is also good. It's sort of a rubber/plastic build that fits the headphones and included micro-usb charging cable. Only thing I'd like to see improved on them is the battery life. I generally get around the 8 hours of time, but would like more battery life so I wouldn't need to charge them all the time. Overall I like these earbuds quite a bit and use them all the time.

Great Bluetooth Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this headphones to replace a first generation pair (the BlueBuds X) that broke on me after a year and a half of almost daily use. I loved the first generation and decided to upgrade with the gift card I got from the geeksquad/best buy replacement program. The headphones sound great and are extremely comfortable (sometimes I wear them for 3-5 hours without any discomfort). They come with different sizes and styles of ear inserts so you can choose a snug fit. The carry case is small and provides good protection when you throw them in your bag. Very easy setup and very long battery life.

Convenience and quality for a traveler.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Note: I bought this item on sale for $74.99. I’ve been using the Jaybird - X2 Wireless Earbud Headphones – Alpha during trips for a month. I’m beyond satisfied with the item I bought. You get high quality sound, Bluetooth connectivity for up 8 devices, effective noise isolating (I bought extra tips to improve it further) and long lasting comfort, I wear the item fit under-ear, but you also have the option to wear them fit over-ear. I’m still be able to hear my immediate surroundings, but any loud noises are effectively dampened. The headphones come pre-charged, Jaybird still recommends you fully charge them by connecting them to a USB port with the included cable. Pairing the headphones with any Bluetooth enabled device takes about 40 seconds, and the range is about 30 feet which is plenty. I like that you have a tiny box to store your headphones in, it’s very sturdy and dependable. The only thing I disliked about the item was no clear instructions being included in the package. All you get is 3 drawings and a url which leads you to the real instruction manual.

First wireless headphone purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this product as a Christmas gift. Husband is happy with headphones, they fit in his ears while he is running without issue. Our biggest problem is understanding the "on/off" function of the headphones so he doesn't lose battery life. Can be a bit confusing. Sound is great, lightweight, durable, good carrying case. Overall happy!

good headphones could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my forth pair of the Jaybirds. The other 3 were the Bluebuds which were ok. The Jaybirds X2 sound awesome and it takes some time to find the right fit to keep headphones from falling out of your ear. Once you find the right fit the music sounds great. The battery life is decent and the Bluetooth connection some times cuts out. These price is a bit expensive. The downside is that the headphones don't seem to last more than a year. The previous 3 pairs I had stopped working right before I had them a year. The warranty had not expired and I was able to get a replacement pair at Best Buy, this was the main reason I kept getting replacement Jaybirds. For the price you would expect the headphones to last longer. I have tried others and these are better. I really like them but I do not like having to keep replacing them. Even with the warranty it's still a hassle to keep having to replace them.

Phenomenal Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome pair of bluetooth earphones. They are lightweight and small. I prefer earbuds of headphones when I go to the gym since I am a runner by trade. These really bring out the base and treble to music. The quality and build is excellent. It does take a little bit of getting used to on fitting it in your ear but once you figure it out, you're golden. This pair also has the Comply foam ear pieces. They are a great alternative to the silicone ear pieces. I heard Jaybird warranty is nothing short of excellent. Hopefully I won't need to use it.

Good but not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality and enjoyment are closely related to how well you can get the earbuds to fit in your ear. A few size options are included but it was a struggle to get the initial right fit. Once that was set I enjoyed the sound quality. Extremely light. Sometimes i forget i have them when there's no music playing.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product very good sound and they stay in my ears perdectly.... I jog and lift weights in the gym and I have had no issue with them.... Bass isn't that heavy but it's good quality and they aren't the loudest but you can't hear any background noise so another good thing..... Prolonged listening my ears will start to hurt though even with the smallest size ear piece but still a great product. Connectivity is great, clear, and I can walk a good distance away from my phone (walking around gym) about 30 40 feet.... Battery life isn't the best, seems almost like to workout sessions is about all I get at about 2 to 2 and a half hours.... Still a great product.... I'd buy again

Solid buds, much better than the originals.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the original Blue Buds X to replace my constantly failing Bluetooth Beats (which I loved but when BB took away the geek squad protection plan option for them I decided to look elsewhere). I was not happy with the fitment of the originals Buds X. They just wouldn't stay sealed in my ears. If I pushed on them lightly, they sounded great. Otherwise, not so much. The X2 solves part of this problem. The new tips and matte finish on them helps to hold the ear hooks in place, resulting in a better fit in my ears. Definitely an upgrade for me. I think the price increase is unjustified, but I've tried everything out there and for my ears....I can't find anything that fits and sounds better.

EXCELLENT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These little earbuds are amazing! While the improvements over the Bluebuds X may not seem like much, they manage to squeeze better sound drivers into the little device, as well as extended battery life. I like the matte finish over the gloss, and now it comes with six pairs of ear inserts, including three pairs of foam inserts. The ear-stays are also improved and more concaved to your ear, making it much more comfortable to wear over an extended period of time. This is a great buy and I highly recommend

Great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These buds are great sounding and are very comfortable. They are pricey but worth the buck. The charge lasts quite a while. I kept them in my bag for two weeks without listening to them and they were still charged up.

good headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I think these earphones are well made and are great quality. These wireless earphones come with 2 different types of ear tips, both with 3 different sizes. The first type is made of silicon and the other is made of foam. I prefer the silicon because it fits better in my small ears. I use the 'small' tips with the 'small' ear fins. When I put them on, I'm able to get the ear tips to "suction" to my ear canal, while the ear fins keep them in place. I do mostly weight/resistance training, so I don't sweat very often, but the time I did cardio, I noticed a different in fit with the earphones. Sweating caused the ear tips to become unsecured from my ear canal and lose sound quality because having them suction to my ear allowed me to ear the bass in songs. If you just have the ear tips just casually sitting against your ear canal, the sound quality gives more of the impression of having more treble than bass, so it's good to play around with the fit. The fit isn't such a big deal to me because I do't sweat a lot, but the thing that is really annoying to be is the battery percentage. The earphone battery percentage shows up when their connected to my phone, but the percentage either says 100%, 60%, or 10%( when it's really low). There's not in-between, which I want. I want to know that I have, say, 58% or 92% battery power. Maybe the company programmed the earphones to work this way to force people to actually let the product "die" before charging it (like people are supposed to do at least once a month, or so, with products with a rechargeable battery). Either way, it's annoying that I never truly know what percentage that my earphones are at. The good thing, though, is the battery does last a good week with an hour or 2 use per day. The standby time is great, too. The sound quality is good with the right fit, like I mentioned before, so just play around with the ear tips and fins to get the best fit. When I use them I get great bass for the most part, without any distortion. The only song that I actually get distortion is a song called "Stay" off of the Interstellar movie soundtrack, but that song has parts with very heavy bass. During those parts, the bass sounds like someone pouring milk over rice crispy cereal. But I can't complain about that too much because it's understandable. I'm just surprised that these tiny earphones can handle other songs, with heavy bass, so well. One last thing, the company needs to add an actual instruction manual in the package, or give a more direct link to the setup because I had to google the instructions, when I failed to find them on the website address they provided. Again, great earphones, I'd recommend them to anyone who asks about quality wireless earphones.

Better than the x1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you liked the first version of these babies then do yourself a favor and get the x2. It's pretty much the same design but looks better fits better sounds better. Just overall better quality. The only complaint is the case. I honestly like the old case a lot better. The new ones are like friction fit. Other than that it's a great buy!

Long lasting battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first pair of wireless headphones I have purchased and so far I've been very satisfied with my decision. The sound quality is great but leads to a minor flaw which is the ear piece was made slightly on the bigger side. So i really have to work the piece into my ear to make it snug otherwise it sits loosely in my ear and doesn't deliver the rich sound it was meant to. The second reason I bought this pair was for the incredible battery power that it holds. Up to 8.5 hours. And I have tested this and it does hold true. Not to say that you will listen to music this long but say you use it a couple hours at a time you know you don't have to charge it after each use. Plus 15 minutes before it dies it tells you the battery is low. Overall it's been a great pair and yes the price is steep but I believe the quality is there and was meant to last.

Great wireless headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall no complaints about the jay bird x2. Great sound quality not to much base like the beats. Build quality is good been using for a month now and they are holding up quite well. Battery life is a good five to six hours straight. Great assortment of in ear pieces to adjust to different sizes. Only downfall is the big bulky rubber case. Would be better with a small zip case so I can put it in my pocket without being able to see it.

Jaybird Bluetooth don't disappoint
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These replaced my Jaybird X. I've been wireless for about 5 years and Jaybird are far superior to other big name brands. Like the X I occasionally get disconnected with these but usually can restore by holding down the center motion to initiate a Google voice command sequence. Once that times out it reconnects. So far the X2 seem improved in this area. I get decent battery life. I didn't think I would like the the new smaller version that has a backup battery but only half capacity onboard without attaching backup. I chose these because the full capacity onboard was preferable to me. I got these at a good discount price too being the older model. I don't mind the size of this design of the buds. I prefer compression insert style over giant Apple style buds. They give you expanded foam tips that are comfortable and block outside sounds better than silicone. They give both types and 3 size choices to pick the best fit. The wings work good for retention in your ear to my experience. I generally do cardio on stationary machines so I may not be pushing the limit on secure fit. Jaybirds have a microphone and can be used to talk on the phone but are not great clarity. To improve quality I usually pull the earbud that has the mic out and hold nearer to my mouth when I take a call. I don't use them with the phone much and generally only do so when a call comes through. The voice command features are OK and voice prompts are also OK. Sound quality is good enough for my standards. I only got about 2.5 years before the X started malfunctioning so I replaced when discount price on X2 were offered because of new model. I don't consider that poor life by comparison with other brands longevity which was at best 1.5 years. Small electronic devices are generally worth the price of an extended warranty due to poor life expectancy. I use these daily during workouts so I have lowered expectations in practice for useful life under the conditions I use these for. I appreciate the freedom of being wireless and will never go back to plug in. The plug jack is the weak link in all devices. Wireless freedom is well worth a little extra cost. Jaybirds seem to me to have better quality and design from other brands I have experience with.
