It works great and I didn't want her to mess around with a heavy sub. She loves the bar and uses it everyday. I can hear it as I enter the security door across from her apartment. I bought it on sale and the price was very affordable.

I have it connected to my Samsung TV through the chord and I like that it switches so that I can control it with my normal TV remote.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this JBL sound bar for approximately two weeks and the volume totally shuts off and the sound will play tinny. It doesn't happen all the time, it's intermittent but when it happens it will take over an hour to try and get it back. I tied everything, disconnecting all the cables, powering it off and just yesterday the visual volume that appears on the TV is gone. Another thing, JBL/Harmon, their customer support SUCKS.
