Purchased the JBL Charge 2 for my husband for Christmas. He asked for an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker for Christmas. We already own a Bose that docks his phone, so I was very worried about getting something too cheap because of the sound that he is accustom to. So far he has been extremely pleased with the products sound and portability. And I was very pleased with the sale price. Over all a great product for the price.

Purchased as a gift for Christmas. Great for streaming music over bluetooth. If you purchase it for a teenager be careful, it can get a little loud. Good bass and great battery life.

This speaker sounds loud and lasts a good amount of time . Plus it charges your phone. I lthibk that the first JBL Charge was louder but I like that this one has a better bass.

Great sound. Portable and sturdy look. I like that it is a blue tooth so that you can take it to any room and in the car. The sound carries well in a two story home.

This is an excellent small wireless speaker. It will fill a small room or office very well, and with 2 or 3 three of its friends a large room, I'm a classical music aficionado, and appreciate the speaker's clarity. However, there is also a strong bass to it's output as well. Very good value.

I must say i was contemplating getting the bill and then i heard this speaker and instantly loved it. Loved it so much that we bought a second one for our daughter. It goes with us everywhere, and travels from room to room (easy peasy). It has great bass the perfect amount of treble, connects with ease and gives off a ton of sound. Would highly recommend this speaker.

I did a lot of research with this device and found that the only bluetooth speaker that is comparable is the Jawbone Jambox. The battery life is excellent, and an added bonus is that you can use a line-in cable from a device if you don't have access to a device with bluetooth!

Incredible sound in small package. JBL is not a well advertised as some companies but they have been in the business a long time. They consistently produce high quality sound products and this is no exception. It is amazing how much bass comes out that little speaker. Not recommended for a large area, but for personal use, it is excellent.

My wife and I bought this as a gift for my father in law. We wanted a speaker that had good sound quality, but it had to be small enough to easily travel with. The sound quality of the smaller speakers just wasn't up to snuff. While the bigger speakers were too big. This one was just right. My father in law is very pleased with his gift.

I purchased this speaker after my old player died to play my iTunes library on my phone and/or laptop. I was clueless about Bluetooth but a Best Buy employee configured my phone to this speaker right in the store very quickly! It has great sound and it is compact and easy to use. I love that I can use it with my iPhone music without having my phone physically connected, so I can use my phone as a remote of sorts, and it worked perfectly for a party I gave using my playlists. You should know that if you get a call on your iPhone or a text, the ringtone or alert sound will also come through the speaker and pause the music, but that didn't really bother me. I have yet to hook up my laptop iTunes to the speaker but suppose it could easily be done as well.

Have to say overall this portable speaker is not bad for the price, it also has the nice feature of being able to charge your phone via USB and has a longer battery life than the jbl flip 2. As far as sound the jbl charge2 is not the greatest it lacks in highs and the bass that it does deliver sounds a bit muffled. In all honesty being an owner of the charge 2 and the flip 2 I would have to say the sound quality on the flip 2 is much more superior. The sound quality of the flip 2 is clearer but does not deliver the bass that the charge 2 delivers, but the bass from the charge 2 is nothing worth buying, let's remember these are portable speakers that are not going to put out enormous bass. Overall features of the charge 2 are nice but for price and sound I would go with the flip 2 hands down.

Excellent low ends and pretty balanced and powerful sound overall. I had the JBL Charge (1st gen) and although this does not reach the volume of the first generation, it does create a great sound environment for whatever room you are in. I highly recommend this product over every other portable bluetooth speaker on the market.

This is my second JBL Charge, I have both the Charge and the Charge 2. Both speakers sound great and are easy to hook up. I really enjoy the social feature on the Charge 2, it is nice to be able to switch back and forth between multiple devices without having to disconnecting from one device before connecting on the other.
