Found this unit on sale just before Christmas for considerably less than the Bose unit I intended on buying. The sound was impressive and considering this model is water resistant and can be used outside without fear of getting splashed or lightly rained on, this speaker was the perfect choice. The bass response is very good up to about 80-85% volume then it gets a touch muddled, but at 85%, this speaker gets very loud. Midrange and treble are good but not great...if you want that, I suggest getting something else but you might sacrifice the water resistance. Overall very good battery life as well.

This little speaker puts out a good sound and requires little of my precious desk space. I love that there are no wires and it can go anywhere within reason.

I bought the JBL to replace a smaller versions of a different brand. I couldn't be happier with this purchase the battery life is great sound is great bass and treble are great. The only downside is it is not waterproof, but otherwise I am thrilled with this product.

I went back and forth looking for something that had a great balance of sound, is water resistant, charges my other accessories and is child proof. The JBL Charge 2+ delivers! I have used this to connect to my phone, iPad or Kindle and always get a great sound!

Bought for my sons birthday. He wanted a speaker that was portable and had good base. This delivered everything he wanted. Also water resistant.

Have not had this long but bought to take for the 4th of July get together with my girlfriends family. It was a big hit and everyone like the option for up to three people to be connect to the speaker. Everyone got to take turns playing music that they liked and had a great sound in an open area. The battery lasted the whole time we used it and still had juice left. I have not tested the option to charger your phone from the unit, as we are a tech family and all have our own power banks. You will not be disappointed in purchasing this speaker.

I was very impressed with this speaker. First off the bass is on point, very deep, and not distorted. The speaker is also very loud, especially considering how compact it is. Battery life is very good, and it is splash proof, just don't dunk it and it us great for outdoor fun..

This product has great bass, and is very easy to use! This is my first Bluetooth speaker purchase, and I had some fear that I wouldn't be able to work it. However, the set up of the speaker couldn't have been easier! All I did was turn it on, turn on the Bluetooth button, then turn on the Bluetooth mode on my iPhone 6 and-- Presto-- the speaker began playing songs from my iTunes library! It couldn't have been easier, and what great sound, especially the bass! I'm surprised it is as good as it is for such a small speaker.

We have been using JBL products for about 15 years now and there has never been a single problem with any speaker or component. The Charge 2+ is no different. This speaker has great volume and no noticeable distortion even at high volume. There are others out there with a little better sound quality but for 95% of the population it is not noticeable and not with the additional cost. Definitely recommend purchasing and you will not be disappointed. Only down side is that there isn't a white color one for the 2+.

This speaker provides decent bass and clarity and the volume that it puts out is very good. Got it on sale and is worth every penny

This is one great speaker! Great sound with the perfect amount of bass. Ease of use, and Bluetooth capabilities are outstanding!

Easy to pair with Bluetooth, social mode is helpful, good sound with decent bass response. For this price you can't do much better.
