Got this speaker for my son. He enjoys being able to link it with his friends. Sound is great. Good bass. Plenty of volume on it's own. Great battery longevity.

In June I replaced my JBL Charge 3 Speaker with the Charge 4. I teach a Water Aerobics class in an outdoor pool and use this speaker for the playlists we workout to. Great sound. Perfect volume. Reliable. Holds up well to the elements as the class is year round, at night, near the ocean, and is exposed to damp and salty air. I highly recommend and will continue to use JBL speakers.

Having an Xtreme2 portable Bluetooth speaker, I wanted something a little lighter, with EXCELLENT sound and Bass like it. I absolutely have it!! A charge lasts longer than a 20 hr window, as advertised. It connects with the press of the power button and any device I want to hear content from! Android, Tablet, Laptop, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple iPad/iTouch and probably more if I had them!! Gets louder than I need it to. Good bass. Above average sound quality. Lasts all day and keeps my phone/camera charged. Pool day/camping trip necessity.

The JBL- Charge 4 is compact enough for easy transport. However, it is a little weighty for a portable speaker. Although it isn't stereo, the sound is reasonably clear and crisp with good bass. The speaker has the capacity to get loud! I compared it to another popular brand speaker of similar size, specs, and price. The JBL- Charge 4 had the clearer, stronger sound. I haven't used it in a variety of settings (only indoors), but I think it will fit my use fine and I don't expect to be disappointed.

14 year old son loves it! Xmas present, and takes it with him all over house. Good, quality sound, but haven’t let him really crank it up yet. Pairs effortlessly with iPhone, and even used with new Bluetooth turntable. Battery life is great. Has charged it maybe once since Xmas! Haven’t tried to charge his phone from it yet, but can do that if no other access to power and phone is dying. Not tiny, but not obnoxiously oversized. Fits any room well, and still extremely portable.

I had some initial concerns about this having only 1 speaker, but despite that, it sounds amazing! It can fill a large room with music of any type and still sound good. Once you get past half volume, the lows don’t quite keep up, but that would be my only complaint. The battery life is fantastic, and while I have not used it to charge another device, it seems like it could handle that without much effort. Very happy with this Bluetooth speaker over some others that I’ve used.

Got this speaker for the portable aspect of it as well as the battery length. I have Sonos speakers in my house but wanted an additional BT speaker. Since I was a little boy, my Dad was always a huge proponent of the 'JBL' sound. This will not disappoint you. We also bought the case to be able to transport it. Brought it to Barbados and had it cranking on the beach the entire day and the battery was still about 3/4 full. Fantastic little speaker. Love the aspect of enabling two people to be connected at the same time.

Just the right size if you are deciding between a smaller one and this one. Not to big for going out to beach, around house or anywhere else for a smaller croud. Even good enough for a family outing outside. Sound is great. Blue tooth distance is average. But I usually don't move the phone to far from speaker. I walk around a bit but phone stays near device, so that's no issue. Cost is great if it's on sale, so wait for that.

I had a jbl2 for a f ew years and loved the sound . Unfortunately I knocked it offa table onto a hard surface and knocked the bass loose. So I had to replace it . This one also has a fabulous sound . It’s a bit larger in size than my JBL2 which makes it more uncomfortable to carry around but it is still portable and I love using it outside working around the yard or just relaxing on my front porch. I enjoy using it for all my iTunes downloads and Pandora. But it also makes a great speaker on my Laptop and my Samsung tv.

good sound, color, easy to operate, good finish, the price was very good and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I would definitely recommend this speaker especially if you catch it on sale. Its very versatile. You can carry it one hand but its still loud enough to give you a pleasurable experience in a bedroom, other smallish room, out on your deck or patio, by the pool etc. Its not going to give you a party worthy experience but its loud enough under normal listening conditions and provides clear highs and a decent amount of bass as well (most importantly) without distortion.

Very portable, good sound, and the battery life is great. Pumps bass sounds decently, and vocals sound clear.

I have a really big speaker that I used to use for camping. I picked up this one because I needed something smaller and more easily transportable. I am surprised how clear and great it sounds. It has a good amount of bass, but not crazy bassy. Better than others it's size. Took it camping for 2 nights, and used it regularly, stayed charged the whole time. I use it to work on the car in the garage. Great speaker. Very happy with purchase. It is worth the large price tag.

I am always impressed by the shipping speed and quality of electronics that I buy on bestbuy. I bought this speaker on Nov 30th and by Dec 3rd I had it. I own a charge 3 but I decided to upgrade.i love the sound quality of the charge 4..the mids are amazing,the highs are crisp and the bass is mind blowing. I also love how much longer the charge 4 can keep battery life compared to the 3. I immensely love the quality of this JBL speaker..I carry it on every trip. It's so portable. Highly recommended.

This is my first JBL speaker and I’m very satisfied. It has great sound, very durable and holds a charge for a very long time. Longer than any other Bluetooth speaker that I’ve owned. My roommate has the JBL Charge 3, which is also good. But I like that with the 4, the flap to cover the charging port is much more secure and stronger so that there’s less likely of a chance for water or particles to get inside. And I also love that you can pair it with other JBL speakers.

Bought this after trying and failing to get a Sonos One G2 to work properly and glad I bought it. Gives great sound through low to high audio range, with solid bass for a small Bluetooth speaker, with crisp and clear sound even at max volume. Found it will largely fill my dining and living rooms with ease. Can't speak to battery life as yet, because it remains plugged in on my sideboard all the time, but if it's like other JBL speakers I have, should be excellent.
