Volume reduces randomly on its own, will not connect to my phone via bluetooth. Does not do all as expected.

Bought this to add some more bass to my 4k movies. Boy did I pick the right one! The sound is nice and clear and the 8" woofer will shake the entire house if you want it to. I keep the bass turned down a bit and it sounds perfect. Just enough to feel but not enough to hurt your ears. Installation and setup was super easy, taking only a few minutes. The soundbar and woofer were paired from the factory so they worked together as soon as they were plugged in. There is a pair button in case the connection gets lost. No need to put all of your HDMI inputs into the bar, just keep them in your TV and use one simple connection via the included optical cable. This way you will never have to switch inputs. Be sure to turn your tv speakers off in your TV's menu. This goes for any soundbar you buy. The bar/woofer turns itself on or off when I turn the TV on/off. There is a slight delay on it turning off, but it must have something to do with it waiting for a signal before shutting down. Turn on is instant as soon as the TV comes on. That is the most important part anyway. This bar is very easy to program your cable remote with. I chose to set my Xfinity remote to control volume up, volume down and mute. Took all of 10 seconds to program following the included instructions. I didn't program it to control 'power' as it does that on its own as mentioned above. The only negative thing I can say is you HAVE to use the included remote to control the bass on the subwoofer. It's not the worst thing in the world, since at least you can control it without having to get up and turn a knob on the back of the woofer. But that is the only way, so don't lose the remote!

Will not with my LG Television. For some reason will not work

Didn't think it would be necessary for the geek squad to set up a sound bar but so far I have been unsuccessful pairing this sound bar with my xfinity remote. I was told it was possible but very much doubtful to this point

The only thing I would like to see is the indications on sound bar like Sony soundbars have. If you push a button on the remote you don't know if it was received by soundbar. And Harman sound works perfect but sometimes the power turns off, I'll need to do more investigation to see if that is a bug in firmware or it is related to inside electronics, so I appreciate if somebody else shares with his experience, if somebody else faces with this problem. I give 5 stars because of sound quality. For design as well I give 5 stars. For user interface and functional convenience I give 1 star. I would like my feedback to be taken into consideration by JBL engineers for the future development.

I did buy it and then only last 3 weeks start making really bad sound and I bring it to the store don't do anything for me Super Bowl date

Constantly glitching, loses partial sound. Subwoofer lost connection. More work than relax. Very frustrating

still unable to use have not been able to get installed and the picture book instructions suck

This JBL 4K soundbar is perfect for my family room. It is loud and clear but also not overpowering. The 4K content (including HDR) passes through the soundbar without any issues just as advertised. I have this connected to my Amazon Fire TV and Xbox One S and the 4K picture quality is stunning, just make sure to use a high speed HDMI cable and connect the master HDMI cable to the ARC on your 4K TV. This soundbar blows away my previous Sony soundbar by a mile. The crystal clear sound and deep base (8" subwoofer) is worth every penny. You really won't find any other soundbars under $500 that will perform the way this soundbar does. JBL definitely went all out with the SB450.

This is by far the best sounding sound bar I have ever had. Like the rep at best buy told me "If you buy it, you won't bring it back". He was right on that one.

I down sized from a 5.1 system to get a more modern looking setup. This JBL SB450 didn't disappoint! Same strong deep bass and crystal clear sound! Really shakes the windows in my house. Only con is the credit card remote! I plan to program my cable box remote to control.

Easy to set up, clear sound and and the bass 8 inches thumbs up! For the ($). Jbl is excellent brand.

I bought a samsung soundbar first with the wireless sub and was very disappointed. I took it back the next day and bought this one. I don't like to spend alot of money on things but this was well worth the cost. If you are a true audiophile and lots of your music is dependent on bass THIS BAR is for you. The best part is that u can use the guage on the remote or sub to control the bass.

I purchased the JBL 3.1 channel 4K Ultra HD Soundbar with wireless subwoofer and I am disappointed with my purchase because the wireless subwoofer doesn't work. The item came with one instruction sheet and I followed the pictures exactly. It did not come with any other owner's manual and no phone number to call. When I unplug the huge subwoofer, the sound is exactly the same so I know the subwoofer is not working even though it is all lit up. It does nothing for the sound. There are no troubleshooting instructions. How do I get the wireless subwoofer to work?
