First two systems didn't do it!!! I went into the store and told the guy to take me to the best one without emptying my pocket. I followed him straight to this item and listened. I had to take it on home with me! Easy to set up, the sound is exactly what I desired and works best in my space!!

I bought this to go with my 10 year old Mitsubishi 65 inch TV which I love still but the sound is horrible coming directly from the TV itself. Of course the TV is so old I could not get the soundbar to hook up to it so I had to purchase an adapter for the optical cable. Once I got it hooked up the sound is clear, crisp and I enjoy my TV now...what an incredible difference. Super easy to hook up, and this unit is sleek looking. Eventually I will hang the soundbar on the wall but for now it sits on my TV stand. The remote is very small though and I do wish it was more of a real remote. Other than that, it's perfect...

The price is right. Aside from not too pricey compare to other brands, JBL definitely standouts. I like how my dad bought this speaker for our living room. It sounds great and will definitely recommend this.

Was in the market for a Bluetooth speaker, one that has a good punch and sound, but wont break my bank. Upon hours and days of searching, and after stumbling upon this sound bar, I decided to give it a chance. Wasn't really a fan of JBL but once I found out that Harmon had purchased them, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt being that I still currently have a Harmon Kardon soundbar from 2012 that still works just as good. I was really shocked by how well this performs!! great highs and mids, and the sub has a great amount of bass!!! The only complaint is that some songs that have low bass notes, aren't played the same as you would hear them in other speakers like in your car for example, but everything else is definitely great from this sound bar and subwoofer.

JBL makes really great products in general. I'm super happy with this purchase. The sound quality is excellent and the subwoofer definitely adds to it. I'm all about that bass...

This thing has a ton of features and a really balanced, nice sound. It's easy to use, and pairs with TV or Apple TV remote very easily for one remote use. Bluetooth is SUPER nice. Love it! The sub really pumps too!

Sounds great, has no remote but it’s not bad at all

This plays loud and very clear. The aesthetics are nice and clean. It's a perfect fit for my bedroom. The only downside I have is that the crossover on the sub requires a finer tuned adjustment than most. Overall: Very happy!

this system has A great sound for music, TV, and gaming looks good in any room has great features to get the sound you want.and is bluetooth ready,easy to adjust for different people. Very happy with this system

Bought this at an open box discount price. Well worth what I paid. Very loud & more than enough bass. I have an issue with my soundbar turning itself back on randomly but hasn't caused any issues. Geek Squad checked it out & said it must be a problem with the communication between the bar & my TV. No complaints just the same.

This is a good overall soundbar for the price range. My only problem has been finding a mount for it to hang below the TV. The soundbar does not have the usual studs to mount with the standard mount, so it requires either a shelf or drill holes into wall under TV.

Overall very good, improved looking back at the SB400. Within a year that one was giving me problem with the Bluetooth connectivity, so got my money back and lucky me the SB450 cameout. Did alot of research looking at the price and quality and ... Love JBL good for your buck, you won't regret the sound. The only thing that bothers me it's still the Bluetooth, not at it's best, but not a big issue if you don't use it that often. Oh almost forgot, they come with this tiny remote I keep losing it all the time.

DOES NOT SUPPORT HDR SWITCHING! When I plug in the Xbox to the SB450 then to the TV the HDR signal doesn't go through however when I plug it in directly to the TV it works. I used the HDMI cable provided by XBox and JBL to plug the Xbox directly to the TV and the HDR signal goes through. However when I use the Xbox HDMI cable to plug it in to the SB450 and the JBL HDMI cable from the SB450 to the TV, I do not get the HDR signal to the TV. See attached pictures. Also the remote is tiny and does not register at certain angles and the CEC controls are finicky.

I exchanged my Sony 7.1 HT-ST9 for this JBL Cinema 2.1 soundbar. Excellent choice, since the Sony soundbar wasn't working properly after 1 day. Had to be defective (no volume or bass coming from sub-woofer and none of the different sound features would work). This JBL soundbar is superb in quality and sound. The bass coming out of the 8" sub-woofer is excellent. The price of $399 is well worth it. The only negative is small remote device, but the sound quality more than makes up for this.

I fell in love with this sound bar in store when I heard it's thunderous bass notes and haven't been disappointed since bringing it home. The salesman tried to get me to buy a comparably priced Denon bar, saying that the sound was much clearer.... it was, but the bass couldn't compare to that of this JBL. When it's cranked up, I feel like I'm in the actual movie theater, with bass that can be heard and felt. The only downside, which isn't a huge deal to me, is the lack of a visible display. It would be nice to see the levels, but I used the ARC HDMI to hook it to my Samsung 4K, so it shows the levels.
