Upgraded from a Boston Acoustics bar. Great sound rivals more expensive units I looked at!

The sound bar and sub deliver great sound. Definitely enjoying them during movies and listening to music.

Turned it up and it sounded great. Crisp and clear sounds with deep base. Too strong for the master bedroom but perfect for the living room

We bought this sound bar to replace a whole stereo system. While not as loud as our other one, it does have great sound and it fills the room.

When I first saw the price of this, along with reading the reviews, I was immediately interested. After about fifteen minutes of hookup, everything was set. The sound was nearly as described - very rich, with a LOT of bass. At first, it seemed like it truly was the perfect theater system. However, there were a few flaws that started to creep up, including a fatal one. 1) Despite supposedly supporting HDR, it doesn't seem to support HDR 10 passthrough for the PS4 Pro, which was a major downer, but something I could live with having hooked it into my TV instead. 2) The fatal flaw - this system suffers from the same issue that the previous JBL sound systems have - a sound 'lag' where the soundbar and bass would not pick up sound for a second and a half. If you're playing non-stop music, this isn't so much of a problem. However, when the system doesn't detect sound, it's like it goes to sleep and has to be 'reawakened' every time, and it takes about a second and a half for it to start playing sound. In scenes where it is just dialogue in movies and games, or in situations where there's no background music in a menu, you will never hear the sound. I tried to fix this by also keeping the TV speakers on, but it just created too much of a strange acoustic echo to enjoy. This despite the fact that I had also made sure to select PCM as the audio out option on everything. A shame on this one! Ended up returning it. With the money I had spent, I starting my own home theater build, instead.

Easy to set up. I barely used my home theater set in my family room after this was installed in my receiving room.

I've always had an AV receiver. This is my first sound bar. I never thought a sound bar could sound as good. Turns out I've been a snob for no reason. This sounds great. The lack of a display is the only issue, it's hard to tell what the volume is or what mode it's in. If I had to do it again I'd look for a sound bar with a display

This soundbar and subwoofer combo is fantastic. Great surround sound and bass that'll shake your walls.
