The JBL soundbar couldn't be any better. It's quality is just what we were looking for. The base is perfect and give us such a better experience when watching movies. We also love the Bluetooth and that we can use it for music also.

I chose the JBL soundbar for a few reasons: wireless subwoofer, pairing with my TV remote and sound leveling for commercials. All three areas work well. It's not as distinct for voices on TV shows as I'd like but it's pretty good. The base is subtle but adds a lot to football games and other shows. It's very easy to install with optical audio cable and plays anything plugged into the TV: DVD, XBox, AppleTV, etc. You can still hear sound at level 1 of the TV audio, so you do have to mute it if you need silence for a phone call or something. Turn off the TV sound as well, otherwise there's a weird delay effect. To me the biggest drawback is the lack of onscreen menus or level displays, even when using the soundbar remote. The TV sound level displays but you can't see the bass level or whether you have the faux surround sound on or not.

This is my first soundbar system. I am amazed at the sound quality it puts out. I thought to get the whole theater sound we'd have to put up 6 speakers but this soundbar with the sub woofer have the same effect. The system is in our basement and when I am upstairs I can hear it plain as day and at times is startling! If you're looking for a nice looking, great sounding system this would be a great purchase.

We bought this soundbar with the subwoofer when we bought our new smart 4K HD tv to enhance the sound system per the sales person. So glad we did because what a big difference in the sound output! It makes you feel like you're in the theater. Well worth the extra cost. We love it!

JBL are one of the best manufactures of sound systems. Reason I got this model was the length of the sound bar to fit into my custom built stereo unit. Which is 33" and to go with my new Sharp 43". The only complaint I have is marring the sound bar and the sub woofer together and the remote is very small. Instructing are not very clear. Here is the answer. Once you have the every think hook up. Press the button on sound bar for a few seconds and the same on the sub woofer. Then press the optical button on the remote.

The set up for hooking the sound bar up to the subwoofer was extremely easy and the connection from the TV to the sound bar was very easy as well! Overall great product and very happy with the sound and bass.

If you live in a small apartment it works. Perfect for the bedroom. The only gripe is the remote is small and can get lost.

I tried the JBL Sound bar and hated it. It sounded terrible and was difficult to set up. The Samsung is great.

This speaker has one of the best sounding soindbars that I tested out at Best Buy. The clarity is amazing and the bass is phenomenal.

Got help from the salesman for this purchase. He did not steer us wrong. Love the sound. However, I need a volume level between the 2 I use most. One is too loud and one is too soft. I usually leave it loud because the sound quality is so good.
