I was really impressed with this amp I when I hooked it up. I have 4 kicker 6x8s that require a lot of power and the amp gives them exactly what they need. Before I even tuned the amp it sounded great. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a lot of power for speakers that require a lot of power.

I am an Advanced MECP Certified Autotech and have been in this business for a quarter century. I am Best Buy's Top Gun for Territory 4 2018. I am also a live sound engineer for bands. I own digital mixing consoles and a 15,000 watt PA system. I like my music and I like it loud AND clean. I understand the subtle sonic differences between a heavy metal kick drum and a jazz kick drum, and a country kick drum, and a blues kick drum. This amp is classic old school less efficient AB technology, which IMO, renders a warmer, more natural sounding reproduction. At 4 ohm, this is the highest real power 4 channel amp in the current Best Buy line up for the money. This has become my goto amp for mids and highs. The only reason I do not give a 5 star rating is because of the signal input panel design. Not a big deal at all, not even worth a whole star drop, but, IMO, the finished install is not easy on my eyes. Like an amplifier with Alfalfa's(Little Rascals/My Gang) cowlick. Watch out for the screws included for mounting the amp. They are a joke. Allen key screw head strips out even if a hole is pre-drilled. But the amp will outperform anything else close to its price range. Even if Kicker may be on sale, buy this. If Kenwood were on sale, I would recommend this. The Club 704 doesn't cost a whole lot to replace, but it is one of those amps worth taking from car to car or spending the money on Geek Squad Protection.

This amp was installed by Geek Squad in a 2003 Mustang convertible. The amp is clean and clear sounding.... and brings out the full sound of the Alpine speakers. It is a smaller amp with cool styling. Very happy with the sound - would definitely buy again.
