I will give the buds proper respect, in that they do work underwater, like advertised. But good luck trying to turn them on. The touch sensitive controls seem to work in every nearby object, except your hand, so putting them away will turn them on, and trying to turn them back on after they have gone to sleep? Hoo buddy, let us not get carried away here, you are going to have to rub them on your chest in order to get sound back. Forget trying to skip songs, or even hit play or pause, turning those bad boys on will be your one and only victory before they turn themselves off again when you put them in your ears. And don't forget mp3 mode... where you cannot even make a playlist if by chance you talked the lifeguard into poking the device in your ear to turn it back on after you scratched your face. But, it does play music underwater.

Overall they are decent, the sound quality is good, but the controls are difficult and if anything brushes by it can turn it off or switch modes. I have to keep a copy of the manual to use them, not very intuitive. Only swam a few times and they seemed to be affected by water more than I expected, one side stopped playing for a bit.

I purchased these to replace a cheap no name brand. Cheap ones only lasted about two hours and moved around , almost falling out at times. JBLs stay in position and I've used them up to 4 hours straight so far and still comfortable. I think they're easy to connect to and use. Some reviews say the controls are too sensitive. I disagree.

I love them for sound, length in between charging, but the earbud that controls power is touchy. I use mine at work and if someone comes up to talk to me. If you pull the right ear bud out and the magnetic earlobe touches the bud it shuts off. Kind of annoying. The cord is too short in my opinion. Almost tight from one ear to the other.

I wanted a bluetooth headset that sits on the neck for daily use. This headset would be perfect for jogging or working out. But for all day wear in an executive environment, it is not what I needed. Sound quality was good and it was comfortable, but would not sit on my neck between calls.

I like the the fit and how good they sound because they fit so snugly. The one thing I didn't like is how the cable that connects them is too short. If you listen with only one ear plugged in, the other one has a tendency to fall off to the side and pull the other one out of your ear.

Too Sensitive

Sound is not bad for such a little package. Only two complaints I have are sensitivity and bluetooth pairing.
The touch pad is super sensitive. Just trying to adjust the fit causes all kinds of "You don't have a clue where you are in the menu." It can also be activated simply by some water splashing on it. You could be paused, you could be disconnected from your Bluetooth device.
Which is my second complaint. It seems that you can only pair it with one device at a time. I paired it with my Samsung watch and then tried to pair it with my Samsung phone. No go. I disconnected the watch and was then able to pair with the phone. This could very well be user error - color TVs didn't come out until I was 12.

Good quality sound, however very sensitive trying to switch from mp3 to bluetooth. Good idea, but seems like the slightest touch it switches and gets frustrating. Hard to put in ears at first, which could be understandable because it has to be waterproof, haven't used them in the water yet.

The dive is a good headset that has alot of great features with able to hold about 200 songs on with a built in MP3 player. Which makes this a very good item for anyone that swims and they enjoy listening to music.

The sound is good and the headphone is practical for exercising, it’s light, it’s stable and doesn’t drop out due to movements. The initial connection with the Bluetooth of the cell is too elaborate.

I got these to use while working out in the gym. They fit my ears great and have never fallen out; the sound quality is excellent. I have not tried them while swimming, though they say you can use them for that. Controlling the volume is by dragging your finger along the right earbud; it works, but sometimes it also shuts the bluetooth off if you hold your finger in one spot for too long. It would have been better to have the volume on one side & the on/off on the other. The instructions are not the greatest, but the setup is easy once you know how it is done.

I purchased these as multi-purpose headphones for work calls, running/walking, swimming, etc. Unfortunately, I have long hair and they are really designed for swimming as the product name indicates. When swimming, I usually wear a swim cap and would have no issue, but when doing anything else, my hair (even when it's in a ponytail) gets in the way. So, I gave them to a male friend who has short hair and he loves them.
Overall, good sound quality (I'm not an audiophile in any way though) and I appreciated the various sizes and styles of tips available.
I did not try them in the water at all, so I am unable to provide any feedback to those features.

Only thing I want improved is battery life. Sound is great. I have not been able to swim in them yet, which is why I purchased them.
Paring is tricky and sometimes needs to be paired for each use.

I struggle a bit with the fine tuning due my heavy touch on the switches, but the comfort and locking earpieces are fantastic. Sound is premium. I linked with a Sandisk mp3 player and have been extremely happy. Using in the gym and hiking in the woods or just long walks. I haven't had a chance to use it swimming yet. I am waiting until I am a little more comfortable with the control features. I don't want to risk damaging it.
