I wanted to like them but couldn't.

I was always a fan of JBL and was replacing a wired pair of their's with these. I read the bad reviews about this set but wanted to believe they might be worth it. I was excited for noise-cancelling and wireless, but the noise-cancelling is basically non-existent. A firm fitting earbud does a better job. The worst part though is the battery life. With such a cumbersome neck band you would assume they could have fit a better battery. Don't waste your time with this pair. I returned them after I realized they couldn't live up to my expectations or their price.

Very good sound. Free app lets you customize sound using your smart phone. Ear pieces stay in and have several size options. Doesn't stay on your neck very well until you use the supplied extra pieces that secure it to your neck. Pairs up with my phone with no problem. Comes with a nice zipper case. Glad I made the purchase.

The quality is great. The drawbacks are the ear buds are not magnetic, the neck piece slides off your neck & it goes into power save mode too fast.

Kept falling out when I run so it's not good if you workout. I synced it up to my phone and the first time it worked great and then it seemed as if the volume keys kept getting stuck and it kept going from loud to mute, even if I changed it back it would automatically malfunction with the volume and I couldn't fix it do I returned it and I bought better and cheaper ones instead.

Great sound and stays in my ear really well. Activity arms are a good addition but they kept falling off and I've actually lost one of the arms. Can't find how to replace them. Works better with iPhone and has some connectivity issues with Android, especially when running. But overall solid product

Returned this item disappointed. In ear portion uncomfortable after just 30 minutes (needed smaller option which was N/A). White h/w around back of neck was easily stained with makeup around the neck/chin and kept catching on necklaces. Opening to attach charging cord was Very Delicate-looked like it would break easily. Sound was VERY GOOD but not hardy enough for daily use.

The buttons are hard to find and the qualityis ok but not that great for the money and difficulty of turning the JBL's on and getting them hook up to a Bluetooth device. The back part falls off my neck and pulls the ear buds out of my ears at times so I would recommend a different set, I was not too happy with these.

These headphones are pretty amazing. Bluetooth connectivity seems to be perfectly fine when connected to any wireless device. The sound cancellation is terrific, and blocks out ambient noise allowing you to be perfectly enveloped in your own bubble. Or you can use the ambient aware tech via the smart phone to be able to here people talking directly at you...it's great. The only beef I have is battery life which seems to only last for 8-10 hours of audio...and with no way to "plug in" while listening, you definitely have to plan your usage around your charging schedule. Comfortable while active, and definitely useful beyond expectations.

I have a bunch of headphones from Bose and Beats. I wanted something that I could take to the gym and take use for several conference calls. The battery life on these are about an hour talk time and maybe a few hours of music. Not both, either. On my iPhone they never automatically connect on a call. When I'm listening to music and take a call one would think that tlthe call would come through the headphones. No, you have to say hello? Then go to the main screen on the phone menu and change it to the JVC. No software update, the app doesn't save the settings of the customizable EQ settings.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the EVEREST ELITE 100, try using a different Micro USB cable to check if this is a charger issue. Try using a different power source (Electrical Outlet or USB Port of a Computer) to charge the unit. As for the call, Please check the Bluetooth settings on your phone:

      - Go to Bluetooth settings
      - Select the speaker and tap the settings icon right beside the speakers name
      - There will be two options with a check box beside it indicating "Media" and "Phone"
*some devices show "Media" as "Headphones"
      - Check the "Media" option

If this doesn’t help, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to assist you. JBL

I found these earphone to have really really great sound.... but the controls were awkward to use, and any time I "bumped" into anything.... or tried running.... there would be a "static" noise.... as if the wires inside the device were coming apart. I returned it.

The unit is weighted behind the neck and keeps wanting to fall backwards. Also when I was working out the system volume kept going to zero.
