Put them on and I don't hear my oldest upstairs pacing as he studies or my youngest as he plays video games. I can read in peace. Or plug into my phone and listen to music or watch a show. Downside is the blue tooth doesn't work well. It is picky and won't hold a paring even when it and the other device are the only electronics powered up in the house.

So when I located these headphones at my local store at nearly half-off the msrp, I went for it. Over the next couple of days, my enthusiasm for these headphones quickly disappeared. The right headphone had a constant beeping noise, regardless of the charge status, which forced me to have to turn my music up louder than I need for working. I also had issued downloading the app on my ipad, and it was fairly rudimentary on my phone. The final straw for me was the lack of audio quality. I noticed that these headphones seemed to be ill-equipped to handle much of any music that was not lower and full of base. In the end, I returned them and shelled out the money for the new Sony 1000xm3 headphones and am in love with them.

I was stuck on a flight toward the back and the engine sounds were really loud until I put these on. I love the option to adjust the ambient noise.
