Took it the pool and it stopped working after that. From my understanding theses speakers are water proof. Have to return it.

This JBL speaker is superb. Compact yet powerful and produces volume. I was very impressed with the amplitude this speaker puts out. All the ranges of sound are covered and bass is not missing. I added the equalizer app and the soaker response increased noticeably. It charges quickly and the charge holds for around 5 to 6 hours depending on volume. I upgraded from an Oontz that was adequate now my daughters until I upgrade? Good luck Lil One!

This JBL Flip6 speaker was purchased for my son as a Christmas present. Despite its smaller size it puts out a very powerful sound! My son uses it all the time so he can bring his tunes with him wherever he goes. He plays his music at an elevated volume and despite doing so the battery will last him all day. In fact after opening this at Christmas and playing around with it he purchased a second speaker and set the two of them up as a stereo pair. He also connects them to his desktop PC via Bluetooth and will play his music and games though the speakers if he doesn't feel like wearing his headset. This is a great speaker at a great price and really is a portable powerhouse!

Previously i purchased non-JBL brand similar portable party speakers based upon reviews. Returned them. No good. Now Bestbuy had actual in store demo displayed of JBL speakers. The flip5 got my attention. I bought 2 flip5 right away. Any music sounds crisp and clean and especially the bass. One speaker i have on my drawing desk at the house. The second speaker is setup on my mountain bike when riding in my neighborhood listening to good music. I exercise weekly on my bike. Go get a couple of flip5. There fun to have.

This little baby puts out some sound! Got this to take out to the pool and my family and I were all impressed with the quality and depth of the sound. It's portable and comes has a nice sturdy wrist strap. Though I have had it out by the pool, I haven't tested the water proof design. It seems very sturdy. It's simple and easy to use. I would highly recommend. I've owned this for a little over a month. Fantastic battery life - I've used for hours with barely a dent in the battery.

Great speaker for the bike and beach. Fits our water vottle cup hilders on all our bikes and has plenty of sound for the whole group to hear on the ride. Better sound and battery then the comparable sony and bose speakers.

This speaker is awesome for its size! The sound is clear with good bass, and it gets surprisingly loud for small gatherings or chilling at the beach. It’s easy to throw in a bag, and the waterproof feature is a nice bonus for pool days. The battery lasts a long time, and it connects quickly with my phone every time. Definitely worth it if you want a solid portable speaker.

JBL Speakers are the best. This is the 3rd one of this size, one bigger and a 2 party boxes. I work at a preschool and we use speakers in classrooms and outside. One of the ones I bought was for my dad and he loves it as well. The battery lasts a long time, the sound quality is amazing, they are durable and water resistant and the Bluetooth range is amazing. I will be buying more of these for more of our classrooms.

Speaker is worth selling your flip 5 and getting the 6. I had 2 charge 5 and 3 flip 5's and now I have no flip 5s and Always love JBL!

Honestly an amazing speaker. The sound quality and volume blew my mind with how loud it could go. The water resistance is nice when washing cars or poolside. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good portable speaker. Battery life is good, I can get about 12 hours of play time on it.

I have a Klipsch KMC-1 Bluetooth speaker I use as a reference when evaluating portable Bluetooth speakers. The KMC-1 has a , full sound with great bass. Most speakers in the $100~150 price range don’t compare favorably, but the JBL FLIP6 is a surprising exception. Despite its small size, it plays loudly and clearly with clean, unmuddied bass. I need to spend more time listening before being completely certain, but I think I finally found a small speaker that matches, maybe even beats, my formerly best-in-class reference. BTW, I didn’t really test the range or battery life, but I fully expect them both to be as good as the sound.

I rebuy this item for family members, I love how the sound is super loud for it being small it’s so good! You can take it anywhere on the go and trips and I had it fall in the river and it floats back up.

Love this little jewel in a box. Took it on vacation with us and it worked like a charm making us feel like we were in a club. It is small, convenient, rechargeable and loud. I love JBL products because they are made well and last long.
