JBL is just better

Put these in a 20 year old truck to replace speakers that had rotted. The sound is just excellent. JBL fans know that the high end is there. That's why we buy JBL. Plus the midrange and bass are strong. I may buy a JBL subwoofer kit, if I decide to keep the truck. Don't want to put more into speakers than the value of the vehicle.

The jeep dash speakers mount behind the dash, and this speaker's face is slightly convex, which didn't allow for a fully flush mount. A couple extra nuts on the bolts allowed for enough space, and I then sealed the gap with some foam. I do not have an amp, so I cannot speak to the full range on these speakers. I can, however say that these have been a great addition for me. The multi-holed mounting options were perfect.

Does not come with harness pig tail
