Worked in my Jeep YJ
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.These went into the dash of my Jeep YJ with only minor modification. The jeep dash speakers mount behind the dash, and this speaker's face is slightly convex, which didn't allow for a fully flush mount. A couple extra nuts on the bolts allowed for enough space, and I then sealed the gap with some foam. I do not have an amp, so I cannot speak to the full range on these speakers. I can, however say that these have been a great addition for me. The multi-holed mounting options were perfect.

JBL is just better
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.JBL is just better. Put these in a 20 year old truck to replace speakers that had rotted. The sound is just excellent. JBL fans know that the high end is there. That's why we buy JBL. Plus the midrange and bass are strong. I may buy a JBL subwoofer kit, if I decide to keep the truck. Don't want to put more into speakers than the value of the vehicle.

Does not come with harness pig tail
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Very nice fit and finish, fit perfectly in the dash of a 91 chevy pickup. Does not come with the wiring harness! You will need female spade connectors to use this!

- A:Answer Our JBL GX6428 will not fit in the rear door of your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab. We recommend the JBL 6421F or the JBL Club 6422F as these would fit perfectly in the rear doors of your vehicle.
