These JBL’s are some of the best on the market. Competition quality and not breaking the bank. Very clean sounding and solid bass with just the head unit. I added the JBL Basspro and a 4 channel JBL amp for better sound. Can’t beat the sound, it’s amazing.

Best sound quality entry-level upgrade. The mids are clear, and there is a nice little unique tonal signature to the treble that makes them cut through in a musical way. We upgraded our stock Mazda speakers and the difference is significant. We compared the tonal signature out of 10+ speakers on Best Buy display, and they had the cleanest, fullest tonal signature out of all of the speakers. Highly recommend for any music.

Great sound quality over the old outdated factory speakers. The lows, mids, and highs are all very clear and crisp.

bought these cause the head unit on my car was going out and I suspected the speakers would not take the new head unit. well i installed the speakers first and sound improved a little. but once the new head unit was installed it really improved the sound in my car. gone are the days of having to max out my Stereo volume to hear my music over the sound of my car on the highway. now i have a bigger issue of the sound being too loud so i can’t hear my little one in the back seat. on top of that i couldn’t tell if i had speakers in the back doors of my car until i put my ear up to the speaker grill. installed these with the standard head unit and it was better and more noticeable. but once the new Pioneer head unit was installed i can tell from the front seat of the car that sound is coming from the back door speakers. i was able to install them rather easily into my 2017 Nissan Versa without having to buy the speaker adapter kit. (might recommend it for the rear door speakers.) but managed to get them installed by taking apart the plug on the nissan wiring and replacing one of the installed slim connectors to a wider connection. door speaker install can be a simple thing depending on the car. it’s installing the head unit that might get tricky enough I don’t recommend for beginners who have never installed anything on a car. and if you buy a lot of tech at best buy the total tech membership would be an advantage when installing a new car stereo.

Great sounding speakers for the price in my opinion! I didn't like my factory speakers so I wanted to buy different speakers in my car and these JBL speakers worked really well with my car! I love how they sounds and the high note and the bass is really good! I would recommend you to buy these speakers!

I bought these speakers to replace 20 year old speakers in my Nissan Frontier. The sound quality was amazing! The old speakers were already starting to fall apart with a little rattling when I turned up the volume. You can crank these up with no problem - and the louder - the better they sound. They are larger than the stock speakers but fit just fine without any extra drilling of holes. Easy install!

Got these half on on Black Friday, which made it a no-brainer. Replaced all the speakers in my Tacoma with these new JBL's, plus the small integrated amp sub package they have. I am extremely pleased. I kept with the factory stereo for now, as I wanted to see the difference in just changing the speakers. It was night and day. I can literally turn the factory stereo up to its max and there is zero distortion. If you have a vehicle with factory speakers, and they were not some upgraded package, replace your vehicle's speakers ASAP. The difference is staggering. The factory speakers were basically paper; they weighed nothing, which means no magnets for good audio. If you have TotalTech, install is free. You can drop maybe a couple hundred dollars and transform your vehicle.

Not made to fit directly in factory holes in the car, Will require adapters plus some form of modification to the set up before they can be installed, good clean crisp sound but JBL mounting arrogance to deal with since the speaker chassis is bulky on their speakers

My wife's Hyundai Santa Fe had a speaker blown in the front driver door. Forget the dealer unless it is under warranty. Speakers were on sale and were recommended by the install staff because they are thin enough to fit the door and sound excellent. My wife who is not an audiophile immediately told me about how spectacular these two speakers sound in comparison to the factory.

Had them for 2 years so far and I love em, very clear mids and highs, doesn’t do bad on the lows either given what they are.

They replaced 18 year old Bose in a Tahoe 2nd row. Completely changed the head space to the point that I went with the JBL component speakers in the A pillars and front doors just two weeks later. Would buy these again and recommend them to others.

[Employee of bestbuy] Using for the front speakers is the best way to use these speakers, they have a lot of mids and highs but not a lot of bass.

For the price these performed a lot better than I expected them to. Great sound even if you have the stock stereo system installed. Recommend for anyone who is looking for an upgrade

I pruchasd these to replace my stock speakers in my 2021 Volkswgaen Jetta R-Line. I did all front and back the same size. The loudness is significantly better and the clarity is still there. My main concern was I really liked the clarity from my stock speakers but I didn’t notice any change or distortion. My speakers were professionally installed by the audio team at my local best buy location. The price was great and the sound is fantastic. If you’re looking for bass then you have to buy a sub you’re not going to get it from your dooor speakers or at least not from these. These speakers go well with my 2 12’ subwooofer

These speakers sound really really good, I would recoup them to anyone looking for some nice sounding speakers, the sound is crisp and the bass isn’t bad. 10/10
