Not harsh on my ears even after wearing them for long periods of time. But sometimes if my hair is down or something I think the headphones think I’m trying to pause the music which sucks especially for the price. But lucky for me I wear my hair up whenever I need the head phones as I use them for chillin, outdoor work, or gym. Decent purchase but to be honest there’s probably better out there
