JBL has always been consistent with its sound quality, be it a personal or industrial product, it's speakers definitely are up on the top three in design and practicability. JBL is always worth every penny.

Great speakers for what you pay. I bought these to connect to my laptop to enhance the sound of my business presentations. In a 20 x 20 room then were perfect. Great clarity and no fuzziness.

One of my lap top computers does not have blue tooth, these are nice speakers that connect with USB port. They are nice looking and sounding speakers and were a good price.

Speakers even come with a usb extender which is helpful for placing them in the right location.

These speakers were easy to plug in. They sounded great and looked great.

Pretty solid. Bass doesn't just kind of not exist like many other small speakers. It doesn't have the reflex of say a small subwoofer, but it doesn't actively detract from the experience like some smaller speakers do.

decent if you're not looking for speakers that offer a complete sound. the lack of bass, and the inability to connect it to my cpu subwoofer that is also JBL was disappointing.

Saw these on sale and the sales lady recommended them. I connected them to a 27" iMac and have been very pleased with the sound quality.

Will not work without being plugged into a computer.

One thing I could not find anywhere, even in the JBL instructions and literature, was weather or not these speakers were "smart". Many computers leave the dang USB ports on when the computers are off now and leave you no way to disable this "feature"... very annoying. So, I was looking for speakers that would turn off when the computer went off even though the USB is still providing power. There was no way to know on these. I had to buy them to find out. Well.. I was happy because they do indeed shut off once the computer is off. You will see the blue LED go out (emits from behind the grille). Another nice feature is that the volume control slider and the dial on the speaker do the same thing for volume. If you spin the dial on the speaker, it actually moves the slider on the screen in windows (tried on Windows 8.1). This is great because I have had some where you have to turn the speakers all the way up on the speaker, and then use the slider to control the volume. Not on these! The dial on the speaker works as the slider on your screen. This is great when your in a game and cannot access the slider from the desktop. In this case you just spin the dial and it does the same thing. These are plenty loud enough for everyday use and sound very nice compared to most USB only powered speakers. However, if you want to crank music and jam, you might want to get a power supply powered speaker. You can crank them to 100% and they stay clean. I think they sound best laid flat for my arrangement. They actually provide a very encompassing sound. They are not as directional as some speakers. Anyway, I mainly wanted to post about the "smart" feature of realizing the computer is off and shutting down. Many USB speakers will not do this. There is no documentation on the internet to tell you this, so here it is!
