It's not too loud, but it's loud enough. It has a built-in battery to give it extra life. Don't turn it up too loud or you'll blow the speaker.

Having the JBL soundboost mod saves me from hauling around a larger Bluetooth speaker and I believe sounds better than my JBL Bluetooth speaker.

Was tired of blasting the sound from the normal speaker. This provide a nice base sound. Very impressed with the sound level from this.

This is a great sounding speaker, I gave it to my daughter as a gift. On New year's Eve we used it to fill the room with music for hours.

It was free with my phone activation, so it is hard to complain about it. I don't know if it is worth its asking price otherwise. It sounds decent, but there are better sounding speakers for the price.

My husband loves the speaker that he bought to go with is Motor z Droid. It is easy to attach and just listen to your favorite music.

No need to connect Bluetooth to the speaker, just snap it on the Moto Z and get a Sound boost (literally). Brilliant and innovative!

I really love this Moto mod especially since it's JBL. I like that it has a stand so u won't have to cover the speaker or the display.

Has a blasting sound and high quality sound at that. Only draw back is that you can't use the projector and this at the same time.

I really like this attachment. I set it on my desk at work and stream Pandora while I work. I use it at the pool, at the beach, or just sitting in the park. It was worth the investment.

Have been wanting a Bluetooth speaker for a long time. This is even better! Is connected to my phone and the sound is super great.

Moto Z Play phone has great sound compared with other phones and with this JBL speaker mod-pack, makes it sound even better.

It attaches easy with no software to hassle with, it also is removed with no effort when you wish to put your phone in a case.

The JBl Speaker mode is great for free.The Bass is lacking because of physical limitations. There is no way you could down lower with the size.

This mod provides relatively good sound quality for its size. I like it because I don't have to lug around a larger Bluetooth speaker in order to bring decent sound wherever I'm going.
