Decent sound quality for the size of the speaker. Does not take up much space when not attached to the phone, portability makes this speaker a winner.

This speaker is amazing. After I got it free with the phone a couple months ago it still impresses. It gives the Droid force almost double battery and if you're using the speaker at moderate volume it can play for several hours. Plus it can get LOUD. It has epic sound for the size, and does better than some of my older portable Bluetooth speakers. JBL did well with this. It does make the phone a bit bulky, however it is easy to swap or disconnect it.

This speaker is all of that. Very loud and sounds great with Pandora. Lacks base but sounds amazing!

For her hat this little mod is,vot sounds great. I would definitely recommend this product. The only difference between this and the new one is a splash proof coating. Love it!

This little speaker is a fabulous add to my phone as I love to provide music around a room while at home or work. The battery power is so the speaker doesn't kill your phone, but it is not a battery to add power to your phone. You'd need the Mophie Juice attachment for that, but it's great that this speaker doesn't kill my phone and it charges conveniently while attached to the phone so you don't need to separate it. I love it!

I got the JBL - Soundboost Moto Mod Portable Stereo Speaker with my Moto Z Droid. I was worried at first that when the speakers were on my phone they would drain the phone battery. To my happy surprise the JBL comes with a built in battery and a USB port of its own to charge it, so it will not drain the phone battery. It even has a kickstand so you can put your phone on the side and watch video or listen to music and it stands up.

This Mod is a nice addition when you want to use your phone as a music box, such as at an outdoor BBQ. It becomes part of the phone and makes phone about twice its original thickness, but it beats carrying an external speaker around. The sound it projects is excellent and is nice when you don't want to use headphones. It came free as a Black Friday deal, but the $80 price tag is still too high. It should be priced at around $50.

I have a JBL portable speaker as well and I feel bad that I neglect it now. The Soundboost for the Z/Z Force is all I need. I keep it with me everywhere I go and use it all the time. It's perfect for gatherings, in the shower, by the pool, with friends, etc. The sound is extremely good for being so small. The battery lasts long enough and if you use the Moto turbo charger it will charge it and the phone at the same time. Very happy!

This is the best Moto Mod because it provides fantistic sound, without having to carry around an additional Bluetooth speakers. It is the most used Mod I have.

I was blown away by the crisp clear sound that this little speaker can output. No more need to lug around another speaker unit to recitals and play practice!

Terrific attachment! Decent sound, easy to attach, extra battery life. wish it had protective case or cover for when it's not in use.

I'm really not into writing reviews...hopefully it does not show too bad! I am pretty impressed with the sound from this speaker set up. First off, if you are looking for a lot of bass...look elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad (considering it's size) it is just lacking in the low range a bit. Other than that, I would purchase again and would recommend to others.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the JBL soundboost. It doesn't matter what type of music you listen to, it's always great, you can turn it up to the max and absolutely no distortion. The 10 hour battery pack is a added bonus. You don't need to adjust the bass or treble because you can't. I have listened to hard rock to Reba's softest melodies and they both sound great.

These speakers are actually really awesome. Loud and clear sound with surprisingly deep lows. Battery size could be much larger but it is still great as it is. It lasted several hours at full blast during my first 2 tests. This is the best mod yet ! If you buy any moto mods , buy this one.

This speaker has a lot better of a sound then I thought it would. It is nice to put it on your phone and have a speaker box.

I received the mod as a bonus for purchasing the phone. It surprised me with the quality of sound and the volume that comes out of it. My daughter has used it for cheer practice and dance routines. You can hear it clearly in small and big rooms. Teachers have borrowed it to play music in classrooms. This is something worth purchasing.
