I purchase this at the same time when I purchased my Moto Z. Although I did end up returning the Moto Z because the phone had an issue with overheating especially when using a mod, this speaker is good nonetheless. The heat issue although when using a mod does tend to cause the overall device to heat up it is not that bad with the speaker. The sound was pretty clear and was very loud. The only downside I can see with this speaker is the fact that when you turn it all the way up, it starts to have a little bit of vibration or static I'm not too sure how to describe it but it's the same sound that when you turn up a speaker too loud in general, it's that noise. The noise though is very slight and probably wouldn't even be an issue for most people unless you're an absolute picky picky person.

This Speaker sound good. The output is clean. I put in in my pocket and walk and listen to music. It also has an addition battery to make the music last longer.

I absolutely love the speaker mod. It is like having your own little Bose system. And it runs on its own battery so it doesn't drain from the phones battery.

I love this Mod. It sounds really good and it's nice to listen to my music on the beach, on my deck and while laying out next to my pool. It's great anywhere and is a great way to listen to your music without headphones.

Easy to attach and produces really good sound. Battery life is ok. I recommend plugging the phone in during use if possible. Would definitely recommend!

I really like the speakers, it even comes with it's own battery. The trade off is that it makes the phone particularly heavy. Wish it had a locking mechanism to hold the speaker in place other than just a magnet.

The speaker is easy to use and the sound is high quality. The only drawback is you can't use it with a case

If you like to listen to music or watch videos on your phone this will enhance your experience. It sounds great and it not that bulky to carry around.

the speaker, and sound were very good, very loud - however gave rating of 2 because dropped phone once and the Mod no longer works at all...(and it was dropped on plush carpeting) had to return to mfr.

The best portable speaker I can take with me anywhere I go since it attaches easily and is not bulky. Sounds much better than you think for size.

No, seriously! I've never heard such a great sounding speaker(mod). You just connect this by touching the back of the mod to the phone..no fuss! You have to individually charge the speaker with the cable Motorola gives you with the phone. I haven't used it enough to test how long of a charge you'll get, but it doesn't seem to suck juice too bad. I got this mod and the Incipio Battery mod for FREE when I got this phone from Best Buy. SO happy with my purchase. Also got a $100 Best Buy gift card. Just awesome! Get your next phone from these guys!

The Moto Mod speaker is very cool and loud. Didn't think it would make a difference but it does and it has a kickstand which is very convenient.

This came as en extra when I purchased my Moto Z cell phone. The sound is awesome. It also adds about 10 hours of talk time to my cell phone.

I really like the jbl moto mod speaker the sound quality is awesome! Easy to slap on the mods. Easy to take them off. Glad I purchased.

The sound quality is really nice- significantly better when this mod is attached. The kickstand is a nice touch also. It does make the phone pretty bulky when it's on, though. Still, I use it a lot.

it is a little too early to review - purchased for Christmas - but the ordering and shipping was excellent; product appears to be exactly as stated; I'll let you know how it works after it is given as a Christmas gift.

This speaker is awesome! The sound is so good and clear, it sounds like a larger speaker. A lot of big sound out of a small speaker!

Bought this for my wife's phone and she loves it. Says it has plenty of battery life and sounds great. Makes her very happy.

The speaker works really well with the Moto Z, the volume is quite loud and sound quality is better than any phone speakers alone.
