Headphones are sturdy and seem like they will hold up to heavy work outs. Battery life is good and noise cancelling works well. Minor issues sometimes cutting the music off when taking steps and pivoting. Not loud enough in my opinion. For durability and fit I’d take this over beats and Bose.

Totally worth it 100 percent. Sound quality is amazing, Headphones are super comfortable. If you download the JBL headphones app on your phone then you can fine tune the EQ settings. Using the project rock one you get more bass but a slight volume decrease. Using no EQ you get a more balanced sound. Don’t believe the bad reviews about these not being loud enough. With the volume all the way it’s it’s practically deafening loud and still crystal clear. I can not recommend these enough. Totally worth it. The headphones are super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Hope my review helps.

Nice comfy headset. I use it for work. The fit is snug, they block the noises, and they hold a charge all week. I can hear my calls, although sometimes they sound a little muffled. That might be the caller's connection. So far, no complaints.

I bought these headphones when they were $99 such a good price I purchased a pair in black and white. Now the good part I would say these are some amazingly well-built headphones and I can truly see that they are durable and would be ideal for using in a gym, I like the fact that the ear pads or sweat and water resistant to a point but being able to remove them makes ownership simplified and gives you a way to better maintain your headphones. I was pleasantly surprised when I use them on a flight and the noise canceling was amazing even to the point to win the plane was about to land you heard little to no noise due to the noise canceling, another feature that I found handy was when you take the headsets off it will automatically pause your audio until you return the headphones back to your head. The JBL application you can download from either the Android or Apple store is a handy utility to dial the sound in more to your preference and that was refreshing to see and also use but the one huge downside of these headsets would be with their bass response I was very disappointed that when listening to either music with a heavier baseline it almost sounds like the drivers in the headset are bottoming out and makes me question how long will the headsets take this type of abuse, the black of low end even while using the JBL application does not fix the issue that having a different set of headphones would fix. When you look at the $99 price point that I paid for the headsets they are still a great set of headphones I know that I can ask for the mx4 or MX5 quality from Sony along with maybe some of the higher-end headphones from beats but I can seriously tell you if JBL addresses the low end on these headphones they will be by far some of the best headphones you can buy point blank. The assistant options is good to have and having Google or Alexa integration is a handy feature, at $99 it's a no brainer but $299 or $229 makes me pass and look at another brand. Well good luck and enjoy your audio journey. Lastly battery life is second to none!

We appreciate your review of our UA Project Rock Headphones. We recommend trying different cables or adapter to charge the unit or try charging overnight to check the battery. The adapter rating should be 5v at least 1 amp, anything lower than this could affect the battery. If you need more help, please reach out to our Customer Support. JBL

I was skeptical bc they were on sale from $299 to $89 but man.. am I glad I did!!!!!! Now they're back up to regular price and I got a great deal on some bass-rich, sweat-resistant, long lasting headphones. Similar to the beats studios

Had a cross country flight with them on. Comfortable, and could not hear the engine noise. First wireless pair of headphones I've had, and I could listen and charge my phone at the same time. They are excellent headphones.

Nice upgrade from the last Project Rock headphones. They get the job done in the gym because they really stay on your ears, a plus for the gym. The down side to that is using them on a plane. You’ll appreciate the noise canceling feature but after a while you’ll start to notice the pressure from the headphones squeezing on your head. Overall they are a great pair of headphones. The removable, washable ear covers were well thought out. They come off easy and you won’t have a problem putting them back on. The case is durable. I wasn’t worried about them being smashed. I would recommend these headphones for working out, running outside or on a treadmill. The plane ride is good but, after a while you’ll need a break because the pressure starts to become noticeable.

    Great weight-lifting, over-ear headphones...

Let's get one thing straight. There are other choices at this price-point for over-ear headphones that have better noise-cancelling, better sound (subjective), better call quality, better apps and better comfort. However, if you want to wear over-ear headphones while you lift weights, these are the ones to get. Notice that I said lifting weights, not working out. These are not for people who do a lot of running or other types of cardio or HIIT that has a lot of movements (either horizontal or vertical). These will move around and you will hear every thud. Get a good pair of earbuds instead. These are not for people who want the best noise-cancelling headphones on planes or to quiet a home or work environment. Get Sony WH-1000XM4 or Bose QC45 (or NC 700) instead. These are not for people who want to have great call quality while at work. Get any type of Bose or the AirPods Pro for that. These are not for people who want to wear them for hours on end. In order to keep them in position while you are working out, you need a lot of clamping force so comfort will dissipate after an hour or so. If you want comfort, go with the Bose or Sony (in that order for me). These are not for people who want the best sound reproduction you can get (very subjective I know). Get the Sony, Bose, B&W, B&O, Shure or just about anything else. These are not for people who want an app that does about anything and allows for a lot of customization (only the Sony's really fall into this category). Who are these for? As indicated, these are for people who lift weights, want to wear over-ear headphones with decent noise cancellation, with good sound and thumping bass. These are for people who want to be motivated that the Brahma Bull is on the side, The Rock had a say in how these were made and maybe, just maybe, he wears them while working out too. These are for people who want motivation to lift weights. Otherwise, look elsewhere for something more specific to what you want.

So far so good. Haven’t tried out the noise canceling feature yet. The sound quality is very good, app eas to download and the fit is good. Price is better than most ANC headphones and actually can be found even lower than the $99 I paid.

Bought this nearly a year ago for work outs and they were fantastic!! snug fit! lasted about 7 months before returning them due to random beeping, and static when using noise cancelling. Best Buy didn't fix them, but refunded my purchase. I would have preferred to just get another pair but Best Buy is out. sad =(

So I guess the Project Rocks are rhe successor to the old JBL Sport Trains. The new version has some nice upgrades but also several draw backs... Biggest complaint is the sound is not as good as with the old sport trains but is still above average. The volume cant be unpaired from media volume, with the sports trains i could have the phone media volume at 100% and finely adjust volume with the headphones this is not an option with the project rocks. The grip around the ear muffs has changed and is slightly less comfortable and may not last as long if its not durable. The EQ and Rock mode dont seem to have too much effect but the noise cancellation works for the most part can still hear somethings in the background but dont want complete cancellation when working out. The battery life and charge timw are also big improvements

These are absolutely amazing. I’m a tile contractor and I use them primarily to get in the zone at work but also to lessen the noise of the construction site. My wet saw and grinder and extremely loud and with the headphones on noise canceling I only hear a low hum. The only feature that I WISH they had was answering phone calls. I still have to pull my phone out and swipe then select headphones. That’s rather inconvenient. Even with that they are still 5*. Sound is amazing. Battery life is absolutely amazing. The hard case is awesome too.

I bought these on sale for $80 and they are worth every penny and more. It's regular prices somewhere around $300 I can see why. I have a rather large head but this fits very comfortably. If you can get these on sale they are definitely worth it.
