I’m really impressed with this JBL speaker. The sound quality is clear and powerful, with deep bass that doesn’t distort even at higher volumes. It gets loud enough to fill a room (or backyard) but still sounds balanced. The battery life is excellent—I can use it for hours without worrying about charging. I also love how easy it is to connect via Bluetooth, and it stays connected without dropping. The build quality feels solid and durable, which makes it perfect for travel, outdoor use, or everyday listening. Overall, JBL definitely delivers on quality and performance. Stopped charging after a month. Wasted money. Not a recommended purchase.

I have the extreme 3 and i have been waitng a while for this speaker to come out and i tell you what the extrme 4 has way more bass to it and it is really good overall the fetures are way better and the removable battery makes the speaker last forever when you get other batterys to because the past ones once the battery gose bad you can’t replace them but the extreme 4 you can they made a product that can last longer and thank you JBL!!! They are the best

I recently purchased a JBL speaker and I couldn’t be happier with it. The sound is crystal clear, with deep bass and rich tones that fill the room. Look JBL is a good brand but their prices are almost criminal. This speaker i do feel deserves my money but it might not deserve yours. This speaker blows the old JBL Xtreme 3 out of the water. More bass, better instrument seperation, better details and louder by a good bit as well. Now while justyfing $379 is hard i feel the app support Aura cast and other nice features make this still the leader in its department. Good job JBL.

Love this beast of a speaker I’ve brought this everywhere it’s convenient loud and last a long time this has replaced my car speakers when I didn’t have a Bluetooth adapter 10/10

This product is Awesome. The sound quality and base are phenomenal. It is easy to use and can take it everywhere. The look and style is very sleek. I bought 2 of them one for my husband and one for my son for Christmas. They love it!

My husband was looking for a speaker to take to work with him… he now carries this everywhere, he was cleaning the floors and had it across his back. Connects easily, sounds quality is great, volume control is great. Easy to clean.

Open box was a great buy. Product came with everything. Speaker wasn’t banged up or broken. Bass is substantial and is audible in a truck shop bay, even while working. I was looking for something I didn’t have to completely worry about ruining if oil or diesel got near it. Even after blasting at full volume for an 8hr work day, it didn’t die. I would say even at full price I’d say it’s worth it.

This is the prefect size speaker that has a big sound. Very impressed with the sound and not big or heavy which makes it an easy carry. Better buy verses say Bose at a $100 more.

Great sound from this speaker. Long lasting battery and on top of that you can swap it out. Bass is good till you go over the 70% which happens with many portable Bluetooth speaker. Auracast is great, i can connect this speaker with my partyboxes. I would recommend this speaker when on sale. Original price you're better off buying a boombox at that point or a ult field 7. But if size matters than you won't be disappointed either way. Good speaker from jbl with a handy bottle opener.

It was a birthday gift for my husband and he loved the size and sound.. grew quality we travel with it everywhere

I needed a new speaker for work to listen to music and this was the perfect choice. Pros ~Long batter life. I only have to charge this once every 3-4 days and it's in use for over 9 hours a day while at work 4 days a week. Charging is super quick as well. Only takes about 3 hours to fully charge. ~Super loud with multiple settings for different sound qualities. I have yet to turn this up over halfway to be able to hear it over the various saws/machines. ~The app is very helpful for seeing battery charge left and switching between the various modes Cons ~It is a little bulky and heavy but it's such a small gripe that it's barely worth mentioning. ~Price. Almost $400 is no small amount. If possible, wait for a sale. Overall, this was a great purchase and well worth the money. I would absolutely buy this again and recommend it. The only thing that would make this product better would have been waiting another month for it to be on sale like it currently is at the time of this review. Still, it's a great speaker with tremendous sound and great battery life.

I brought this Bluetooth speaker for a performance I had to do for a scholarship program. The sound was incredible!! I wasn't sure if the sound would be loud enough to fill the room. IT WAS PERFECT!!!!. The sound was clear & sharp. It was also vas very easy to transport The strap made it convenient. I recommend this product!!!

The JBL Xtreme 4 overall is a good speaker, but I returned it for a handful of reasons. What I liked: The sound quality at low-medium volume is fairly good and sounds open enough for this size of speaker. The size of the speaker makes it really quite portable and the shoulder strap is really high quality which makes the product all the more premium. The removable battery and just the great battery life in general are a nice addition compared to past models. The app is easy to use and made changing the EQ very easy. What I did not like: The sound quality at higher volumes greatly diminishes and thins out as the main drivers aren’t able to supply enough power for more air movement. It makes the speaker sound harsh and tinny while also losing its lower frequency presence. The actual max volume of this speaker is okay, but just was not what I was looking for in a medium sized portable speaker. The Price: Coming from someone who owns a pair or SOUNDBOKS 3’s and other high end Bluetooth/SKAA audio, I am used to a hefty price tag. But I just could not justify the $270 I spent on this while it was on sale (let alone retail at $380). Conclusion: If you want something portable that has decent sound quality for indoor listening, go ahead if you have the budget. But if you want something with better max volume performance and sound quality, I think you’re best to look elsewhere.

It had fantastic volume and sound quality. I use it every day while I am working. It last all day too.

This speaker packs a bigger punch than expected! Extremely clear with no distortion at any volume level. It gets loud, with exceptional balance between bass, miss, and highs. Definitely get the JBL app and use the equalizer- it helps find the correct sound balance for your preferences. Auracast is a cool function to connect to multiple JBL speakers, too! One thing to note - the equalizer defaults to a pre-setting (not custom) when using Auracast, so the sound is slightly different when using that feature with multiple JBL speakers.
