JBL Xtreme 4 is durable & rugged IP67 portable speaker. Delivers deep punchy bass in small rooms ( Not outdoors). Requires tweaking for personal audio taste. The removable battery is fantastic for easy swapping or replacement, while the shoulder strap is sturdy enough for dog walks.

I honestly love it and use it as a daily speaker at home and mobile. I use it for mountain biking, bmx, scootering, beach trips, home use and so on. It’s a great outdoor speaker and I actually bought a second for stereo mode and more presence. It’s basically like a mobile sound bar with two. I keep one attached to my backpack.
The battery life is amazing it lasts a really long time but to be fair I’m not always maxing out the speaker. But even then it can go loud for pretty much as advertised and even longer if you keep it lower. For casual use it’s more than likely enough battery time even if you’re running it all day.
It’s designed pretty well and it’s pretty much all you would want on a portable rugged speaker. I do wish there was a smaller handle included but the strap can be shortened. But still annoying to hand carry like that.

A good talk where the basses are not saturated, the media and highs are well balanced and the capacity of their battery is good, made of excellent material, it is not heavy to charge and bring it everywhere and enjoy it with family and friends in those special meetings and with their Mut strap, good quality, which also has open. I recommend bottles of soda or your favorite drink 100%

The JBL xtreme 4 is really loud specially when plugged in. Coming from a JBL charge 5 it might seem quiter but it's because it actually separates the sound into 2 channels. Only problem I've had is the lag when it goes to power save after being idle for so long and it doesn't have an aux compared to its predecessor. If you can get it on sale, this so worth it specially if you are on the go a lot.

I was originally was looking for a JBL Charge 6, as I previously owned the Charge 5 and loved it. Best Buy had this speaker for $249.99, which made it only $50 more than the Charge 6. I couldn't resist. That was a great decision on my part. The speaker has been used for hours daily. Sounds great and battery life is unbeatable. Download the JBL Portable app, which let's you update the firmware if and adjust your EQ to your liking. If you're considering the JBL Xtreme 4, buy it and blast your tunes!

I have to say that the JBL Xtreme 4 is really impressive for anyone who likes powerful outdoor sound: it holds up well thanks to its IP67 rating (water and dust resistant), the battery lasts a long time — around 24 hours of regular use, and with the Playtime Boost feature you can squeeze out a few extra hours. The sound is lively by default, with decent bass and fairly clear mids and highs, although if you want more punch in the lows it’s best to tweak the EQ. I also like that the battery is replaceable, which gives the speaker a longer lifespan. In short, if you’re looking for something portable, loud, durable, for parties or outdoor use, the Xtreme 4 delivers.

If you want strong bass, solid durability, and long battery life for under $300, the JBL Xtreme 4 is a great choice. I compared it to the Sony ULT 5. Sony had LDAC, AUX, and LEDs, but the Xtreme 4 provided deeper bass and was about 1 kg lighter. It is also tough enough for beach and trail use, with an IP67 rating. Also the Sony app was pure garbage, it crashes most times and almost everything is controlled using the app for the speaker.
The battery lasts 20 to 22 hours at standard volume, which is close to JBL’s 24-hour claim. Also has a removable battery which makes it easy to swap but you got to have T20 Torx screw driver to do it, which is the only issue. The JBL app includes a 5-band EQ and Auracast pairing. It even has a shoulder strap with a bottle opener.
What are the downsides? It loses some bass punch when ‘Playtime Boost’ is on, the controls aren’t backlit, and the bass starts to compress near maximum volume. But these are minor concerns overall.
Rating: 4.5/5. It’s powerful, durable, and has great battery life. A true party starter and one of the best options under $300.

The JBL Brand hasn’t let me down. I had the Extreme 2 for 4 years. Had adventure and recreation on longboard to the highway. The JBL extreme 4 Holds up to High Quality Product. 5/5

the JBL Xtreme 4 rechargeable bluetooth speaker has some really good sound quality w/a heavy bass & good tweeters for the high notes plus it pairs easily with any laptops of cellphones. The amount of hours between a full charge will give 18 to 20 hours of use. Best Buy has a decent price offer, better than JBL has.

I recently purchased a JBL speaker from Best Buy and I'm extremely impressed! The sound quality is fantastic for the price, delivering clear highs and surprisingly rich bass. It connects easily via Bluetooth, and the battery life is excellent, lasting through extended listening sessions. I highly recommend this JBL speaker to anyone looking for a portable and powerful audio solution.
