I was first going to get the jbl charge 3,but when i saw the extreme on sale i had to get it. pairs well and the sound of this speaker is mind blowing.

I absolutely love it, great sound, easy to use, and the battery life is pretty good.

We dropped and broker our smaller version which we loved. We decided to get the bigger one because hey, if the small one was really good, the big one should be better. Well, the neighbor behind us started complaining about the bass as soon as we got it! The sound is incredible. Be aware it may tick off your close neighbors even at what you think is reasonable volume

Good, portable speaker for picnics, boating, etc. The sound is better than what I expected. Preferred this one over the Sony they offered.

Had beats pill XL and loved it, but got rid of it due to the recall. This speaker actually handles all music better. I mostly listen to rap. Words are very clear and bass is excellent depending on the song. From time to time the speaker will skip first couple seconds of a song. Nit a big deal to me. Only happens when you change the song, not when listening to a playlist.

I use this Bluetooth speaker with my iPhone and all the music i play is from iTunes. The problem with iTunes some of the music quality and recordings are different (hi and low volume recordings). If played at full volume you lose a bit of base and it gets distorted if the recording is too strong. I don't recommend playing at full volume with iTunes if you plan to play continues. I Wish this Bluetooth speaker had a peak LED light.

Opened this and was pleasantly surprised. It came charged so I immediately played. Sound was perfrct! Meets all my needs!

JBL continues to uphold their legacy great sound in this Bluetooth speaker. Turn your phone or MP3 player into a great sound system. The battery life is outstanding, and there is a 3.5mm jack on the back if you don't have a Bluetooth on your MP3 player. Would I buy again? Absolutely. You won't regret buying this speaker.

Have the flip 3 and decided to buy the extreme on Black Friday for $150. It sounds great. Best by far for the price.

You wouldn’t think you could get sound like this from something this small but it sounds like a large stereo system.

I used this speaker and only this speaker for my wedding ceremony and reception. It was a destination wedding, and I wanted something that was powerful enough to project, but small enough to travel with and ultimately have a use in my home. This did all of those things excellently. I would buy again without hesitation.
