I have owned many bluetooth speakers and this one is by far one of the best due to size and portability.

This speaker is not as loud as I expected It to be. It’s just as loud as the jbl flip speaker.

This is hands down one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers I've ever used! The quality is excellent, the batteries last forever, and you can throw it in a backpack and ski with it or set it on a table, near the pool, or your bathtub (all places we've used it). Are there louder battery powered speakers? Well if you count the ones that need a dolly to move around and also double as a light show and karaoke party with fireworks and a LED lot holder for your beer, then perhaps, but this thing bumps HARD and is more than loud enough for longer than you need it to be. Oh and it works while plugged in too!

Great big sound for small speaker size. Easy to operate and long battery. Water proof is a plus and can connect to other JBL speakers via Bluetooth to play same music from one source at the same time.

I already owned the JBL Charge 5 which is a surprisingly great little speaker. I work as an outdoor children's entertainer, and I needed a speaker with a bit more volume and bass than the Charge 5. Well this speaker delivers in that department for sure. It's got an overall more full sound for sure. But there is still something that I love about that Charge 5. The Charge 5 seems to have more clarity than this one, but I'm still preferring the Extreme 3 overall. My only real complaint about the Extreme 3 is that it doesn't come with a handle strap, only a shoulder strap. And there is no case like the the Charge 5 came with. JBL should sell a case AND handle strap as accessories if they can't afford to include them in the box. I ended up using my old bowling ball bag/case for the speaker, and buying a strap that I found on Amazon. This is an awkward speaker to pick up with one hand only, so it really should have come with a handle!

Convenient for outside or carrying around. Very loud, even in open spaces. Sun, water and dust proof.a little pricey but a quality product.

Color is super nice, super loud and powerful, they don't name Xtreme3 by coincidence, battery life is amazing, hours and hours of use, recharge is fast enough, sound quality is great, punchy bass, clear mids and a nice crisp high frequencies reproduction, superior sound, one of the best speakers I own. I love it.

The sound is awesome, I love this speaker is to size is insane is not to big and not to big and it sounds load and the bass is pretty good i recommend this item.

This speaker blew my expectations! I love the fact it has a non slip strap to carry, and it is so loud! The music sounds so clear as well! I feel like the battery just lasts forever!

Sounds great, easy to carry. I contemplated getting this, wondering how it would sound. Went to Best Buy instead of buying online so I could hear it first. The JBL display in Best Buy made it sound terrible, two preselected songs to choose from, nothing like what I listen too, and volume way too low to really hear what it’s capable of. I almost didn't buy it. Paid for it and opened it up in the car and wow what a difference. Plenty of volume and great sound from a little package. Spent a week in a beach house with it and it was perfect.

This exceeded my expectations. Use it on the Razor when hitting the trails. The sound that comes out of this is above average. Battery life is very good. After about 6 continuous hours at 70% volume it had about 50% battery life. It charges fast & doesn't mind dust or rain. I also use it in an older truck with no Bluetooth. I bring my ipod, sync it up and i have music, audio books and whatever else I have on my iPod

I don’t need to say anything, but test it in the store this little suckers amazing!!! Loud strong sound. small amount of base, it’s great !! Very portable it goes everywhere with me/us super durable. Goes with us in the SxS, eclipse, vacation, beach, work, u name it AMAZING!!

The JBL Xtreme 3 is basically the “party buddy” of Bluetooth speakers. This Bluetooth speaker is really good for listening to music in the outdoor. I usually use it on my backyard and the volune is good for the amplitude of my open area. Indoors it is really loud in a good way! It connects quickly to my phone and it's connection range is about 20 ft. Its bass surprises ne every time. I like it a lot.

The sound is very good, it fills up my kitchen, dining room and living room with music without issues. Once the Extreme 3 is connected to a power outlet I noticed a good bump in sound. The speaker can charge your smart phone via the USB-C port so that is a nice feature. This speaker is definitely good for a small get together or outdoor gathering without bothering your neighbors. I like bass and I just wish it had a bit more but overall it is a great speaker with very good sound.

Sounds awesome, good battery life and easy to use. It blows my mind that it sounds so much bigger then it is with rich full sound.

The JBL Speaker has some really great sound and absolutely love the bass it has for a portable speaker. The other awesome positive is how I can also use this speaker as a portable charger whenever I forget to do so at home. The battery life is also great and can go for 3 days with my use without charge.
