JCVD has always put forth the effort to make good entertaining action films - sometimes light in tone and sometimes gritty, sometimes even veering toward, dare I say drama (see JCVD the film). This collection is has a few good ones and a few clunkers. Universal Soldier - The Return is terrible and the reason why the subsequent sequels (which are quite good) completely ignored this one. Hard Corps and 2nd in Command are not good - no budget, scripts aren't good, direction is bad - these were straight to video fare. Of note is that much of JCVDs output is released theatrically in much of the world just not in the US and not these two turkeys. Then there is Double Team which, heaven help me, is much better than I would have thought, Fun imaginative pseudo spy romp and Rodman's role is such that he is there but doesn't embarrass himself or ruin the film. Mickey Rourke is the villain. Very silly but I found it entertaining. Maximum Risk is much more grounded - one of his better movies from his heyday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So 2 out of 5 with one of those being a standout - all for $7. I can live with that.

This is a great five movie collection on Blu-ray of Jean-Claude Van Damme I just happened to be at Best Buy and was looking around at the movie selections as they don't have a very big movie selection anymore as they cut down a lot but as I was looking around I had seen this five movie collection on Blu-ray and was able to buy it at a great low price that was talking to me saying hey buy me I'm only $5.99 and you cannot beat that especially on Blu-ray and most of the movies that were on this five movie set I already had on Blu-ray but you know what I didn't mind upgrading my dad don't buy a whole lot of movies or he don't buy any movies at all it's whatever I give him and I didn't mind passing on to DVD versions over to him that's why I went ahead and bought this Blu-ray version because it was cheap very cheap and the cheaper I can buy things to cheaper my pocket will be happy

Excellent collection of Van Damme movies. You can count of him to provide action from start to finish. I have no problem with watching these movies over and over. Great addition to your movies collection. Also you can't beat the price for this one.

Where else are you gonna find 4 of the 5 of these JCVD movies on BD? Another country? Only if you wanna pay more to import it. Better go with this instead.

I'd say this blu-ray has 2 better JCVD movies, and 3 not-so-much. Either way, if you're in the mood for some high-kicking action, just get this.
