My husband and I have a 1970's era record player that we didn't want to keep using daily in order to maintain its quality (and it is large and takes up a great deal of space). I read the reviews about this particular smaller player and decided to purchase it. The negative comments mention the speaker quality not being the best, but we use larger auxiliary speakers so that wasn't an issue with us. I like that it is small in size, easy to understand, and you can close the lid while still playing a record (important for us, especially around a 15-month-old with sticky hands). I highly recommend this record player, particularly if you have auxiliary speakers.

I bought this turntable for a friend for Christmas and he really likes it. It has a good sound quality and doesn't take up too much room. The only con is that we wish it's volume would go louder.

This returnable does what its supposed to! Plays records, has easy to use controls, plugs up to my receiver, auto stops at the end of a record, and has a small enough footprint to be shoved into an entertainment center. Only gripe is the low bass and no auto return on the arm. Overall though great bang of for the buck!

Love the size, sounds great. I did buy a speaker since I love to play my music loud, but the normal sound is fine for listening in same room. Would buy again.

I read several reviews before purchasing this turntable for my 15 year old son for Christmas. As the reviews appeared to be mixed I wasn't sure what to expect. So far my son has really enjoyed the turntable and has been playing records non-stop. He usually uses the built-in speakers but sometimes he plugs in some external speakers and both seem to work well.

This is a workable compact unit that does the job. I got this as an entry level record player for my daughter's room. She is pleased with it and it works perfectly so far.

The record player has an amazing sound and it is easily portable. The top protects it from dust.

Very easy to use. Set it up in about 5 mibutes after I got it home then played a couple record sounded very good. This is perfect for someone who wants to get into playing records or already has a collection. Also can be connected to a receiver.

Record player works and sounds great; my 14 yr old was thrilled with it. Only thing I would change, is the arm is not automatic, so you take a chance on scratching the vinyl every time you use it. Other than that, I would HIGHLY recommend it!

As soon as I opened this Turntable, I seen that it's made very nice, has all options that available for vinyl records player. Have a lots of records with different speeds and was able to play all of them. Very nice sound and very easy to use. Thanks

Great sound from the speakers. Works great on all our vinyl's.

Good turntable for the cost, built in speakers are adequate and its nice to be able to hook it up to an amp for that classic hi-fi sound. Only drawback is the AUX IN automatically bypasses the turntable when hooked up, there is no switch between the two functions so you have to reach behind and unplug whatever you are using to play a record.

Friends of mine have a large 33 and 78 collection but since their turntable broke, they couldn't listen to it. They had no idea about turntables, what to buy and where to buy it. After hearing the complaint a few times I thought it was up to me to resolve the impasse...I knew I would get a good economical turntable from Best Buy so I ordered one for store delivery, picked it up and a few other things for myself, and brought it to them (By the way ... all of the staff I asked were ready to spend all the time I needed with me...they were friendly and knew their stuff. The woman at the pickup desk was particularly cordial). My friends were delighted and thanked me copiously...but.... You can lead a horse to water, or even bring it a bowlful....my friends haven't even plugged it in yet!!! I guess a couple of years without a turntable quiets one's appetite for music. I know they'll be very happy when they get the courage to turn it on....or is that my job too?

We have so many records and needed a small turntable to play them on. The sound is great as is the size and price point !! Recommended!!

I've been looking for an affordable turntable for the past year. I found a treasure trove of 65 year old recordings featuring my father, uncles and aunts, done right after the brothers had returned from WWII. They're priceless and I needed a very light machine with a fine stylus so not to damage them (further). I didn't realize until I opened it that this machine also has VARIABLE SPEED. I knew the music after hearing it so often when I was young, and was able to tune the different recordings to their original pitch. This was an unbelievable gift to myself, and my children. I have been wanting a record player for old records forever and seen that Best Buy carried them online so I purchased it.

Works well, have had no issues. Sound isn't super loud, but works for one room (like my bedroom).
