We have this as a birthday present to my daughter's new boyfriend. He loves it. No issues to date, but we did get the geek squad coverage just in case. Great value.

a very nice price point by best buy for this machine but have had to spend some time working w/ the settings to get the sound just right from tone to speed. heavy users may want to look for something else but for average vinyl listener, i think this is a good machine

Cheap , ready to use turntable. Would recommend for beginners.

It's cute but I must say the sound and volume is just horrible! Being that it is a Jensen I had high hopes for it because of it's reputation, but I was very wrong!!!

I got a $200 "all in one" record player for X-mas that skipped on every single record. I decided to try out this one after seeing positive reviews. It does exactly what I need it to, which is play records! As others have said, it doesn't get super loud, but it is perfect for what I need it for. Small, affordable, built in sound, excellent "beginners" record player for sure!

Product was a gift for my children for Christmas and the platform was warped and not usable. Sadly, a big disappointment. However, BB did reimburse us for the cost.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this player when I bought it. I have a lot of records that I wanted to listen to again and based on reviews I gave this a try. Tried to get by cheap.....don't. Terrible speaker and the turntable would speed up, slow down....took it back a spent more to get a good turntable. Pass this one by.

This turntable skips and is visibly not level, the arm is not heavy enough to keep the needle down, and the needle scratches records. Spend the extra money on a better turntable. Returning this asap. Other reviews on other sites reaffirm these issues, numerous complaints of the same problem.

Purchased this turntable for my son's graduation based on the great reviews here. Was looking for something basic, yet functional, to introduce him to vinyl as his dad and I saved the good ones from long ago. BEWARE -- Best Buy warranty lasts 15 DAYS from the day your package arrives on your doorstep. I ordered this item April 30, it arrived May 9 and we gave it to son on graduation day, May 26. The turntable didn't spin at the right speed (33 1/3 was more like 40) and no adjustments to pitch made it any better. Although we opened it in less than 30 days and wanted to exchange it immediately upon opening, no dice from Best Buy. There is no warning of this on the packing slip either. The stores cannot help you at all with online purchases. Anyway, bottom line is if your item is not claimed as defective within 15 days, you need to contact manufacturer. Manufacturer will replace it but we have to pay for shipping which comes to another $30. SO, the inexpensive idea is now not so inexpensive and there is no guarantee that this new one will spin any better. If you do order this, I would say the tone quality would be good for little kids who don't know any better. Also, you have to manually place the needle on the record (there is no lowering arm) so if you don't know how to do that correctly, or cannot do that correctly every single time, scratches to your music are inevitable. If you have any memory of what your records sounded like on your old phonograph, don't get this item. OR pay for the Geek Squad insurance. That would have saved us!
