I live in a low area of Redondo that gets poor electronic wave reception. Old radio would only pick up a few stations and they would fade in and out. Jenson gets more stations and much clearer. No stereo or thumping base but if you still listen to Rock & Roll, you probably can't hear the difference either. Great for use in the garden.

The sound on this radio is fantastic --- needed to purchase a battery radio due to the recent power outages and we found one that has great reception and clarity of sound. It is lightweight and a great size.

Great little radio. Good sound and reception also. Can plug in or use with batteries. Really like the nostalgic look it has. Would definitely buy again if the need arises.

Ease of operation, no issues in regard to frequency, sound distortion no difference when on battery or electricity power.

very solid and sturdy with good fidelity It is AC/DC . I was able to substitute AA Rechargeable batteries instead of the larger batteries called for. This is much less expensive. d c

Nice radio, compact and convenient to carry to the beach, park, etc. sound is good also. Only drawback is I was hoping it would have a port for ear buds or headphones.

I like this small radio overall. It has good reception. On the negative side the volume control is ‘sticky’ at the lower end so it’s difficult to attain a a lower volume without going silent or too loud.

A great little radio. Good reception of distant FM stations when in a high rise condo. Receives FM stations my other radio was not able to tune in inside my home. Small in size, good sound, great reception. Very happy with my purchase.

We were looking for an 88 yr. old shut-in an assisted care facility who missed her radio from home. According to her, it works beautifully and she is very pleased that she is able to spend her days listening to her favorite religious programming again. She noted the sound was very good as was the reception of many stations. Said it is very easy to use and she could either have it by her side on the couch all day or place it on table.

Good radio for an affordable am/fm radio. Speaker sounds pretty good for just being one speaker. Seems to get pretty good reception. Small enough to be handy, large enough that you can actually hear it.

My husband was the recipient of this item. He has been using it and is thankful that it is able to be plugged into a power source as well as use batteries. So far it has worked great for him. I purchased the one year warranty in case anything goes wrong in the year. Very satisfied so far with this purchase.

Works fine. Good sound. only Difficulty was getting the battery compartment open.

Bought this for my mother because she wanted a radio that she could use when the power goes out. She just wanted something basic and this fit the bill. She loves it! It's small so she can carry it with her and the sound is fine.

Just a plain basic little black radio! Great sound quality and easy to operate. Using in the garage. Would work anywhere. Good price.

This radio has a great sound and is easy to use. The antenna is short and may not do a good job on long distance listening, but I have not tried it for that purpose yet. I have not used the AM yet either, but hope to use it in the next two or three weeks. My primary purpose for purchasing this radio is to have a battery operated radio for emergencies.

Just what I wanted!!!!!! It is a great small radio that has a cord to plug in or could run on batteries. Sound is good and it is just what I need for placing on the shelf for morning or evening radio...

Needed something for the office that plugs in and has battery capability. This radio works great on all FM stations. Have a bit of a hard time getting 570 AM to hear Dodgers games but overall its a great little office radio.
