Good for playing MP3 format disc
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mainly to play MP3 format disc does good job.the radio tuner is not digital very hard to get stations in good and clear poor quality the antenna snapped off like a twig again poor quality.sound is average for what it is and size.If your looking for a cheap good little MP3 format disc player this is the one but for anything else I would strongly recommend something else.I would not pay more than $50 for this.

Remote only controls cd player!?!?!?

Unfortunately, no where online does it state this stereo's remote controls the cd player only. Even the volume can only be remote controlled when listening to the cd player. You're on your own when listening to the radio, which tunes in one station in 4 different spots along the analog dial. As a gift for a 10-yr. old daughter's first stereo, the lack of control is disappointing and this is going back tomorrow for a "real" boombox. Most likely a more expensive Sony, but I've abused 2 for 20 years now and they work perfectly. Remote control included.

Not recommended, display doesn't even show channel

Upon a further look, mine has a manufacturer defect, the cover of the display is improperly installed, sticks up 1/4" higher than its supposed to, and the CD door will not close! Add that to the fact that the display does absolutely nothing other than with the CD function or when ripping files which I will never do, and you have no idea what radio station you are on! It has a cheeky little knob with a hole in it that helps you guess what station you are on. Over all, totally disappointed and I'm sending it back!

Best out there for it's features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product is awesome. It can play regular cd's, mp3 cd's, mp3 cd's with folders and usb. It can even rip audio files from a cd, convert them to mp3 and put them on a usb. It's one of the few units that has a remote. The sound is loud and rich and far surpassed the Memorex and sony products on display at bestbuy.
