Purchased a few weeks ago, unit runs fine. Cools fast even for a large room. It is power hungry drawing 11amps 1300 watts from the wall when running compressor and high fan speed. Ideally you’d dedicate a power circuit. No idea on customer support or warranty but will update if it’s required in the future. Never had JHS before but most powerful for the price.

High power consumption with middling results. Purchased to replace an 8000BTU unit that was struggling on hot days. No backlight in the remote, overly sensitive temperature control, underwhelming cooling performance. All I've noticed with this unit over my Midea 8000btu unit is: higher electricity bills, more noise, and worse behavior when trying to sleep.

Does a pretty good job cooling a large area. I originally bought 2, but 1 was knocking badly when in cool mode, so I returned that one. No problems yet with the other unit. The A'C unit is fairly loud, but 2 of these are keeping my 1300 sq. foot townhouse cool for $700 as opposed to thousnads for central air.

The product itself is great after we started to use it finally! Our first one was a total defect. We have to return it and get a new one. The machines instruction has a little problem, which we don’t understand: the instructions says, use the bottom draining hole for water drainage, but we end up had a flood because the water came out from the top draining hole instead. Everything else is fine. The AC is very powerful. Our whole family enjoyed it very much.! Thanks for the efficient customer service the whole time!

Works great! Only downfall is this needs to be emptied too often and is inconvenient when you're not home

Nice , and keeps a 475 room cool but it is loud when on high

Amazing! I l would definitely recommend this AC I bought it last summer 2023 and best investment ever. Easy to discard water and easy to fit in a bedroom. I had a newborn and it was perfect for his room.

After purchasing 5 portable units over the past 15 years, I was blown away by this machine! Wow...easy set-up and does a fantastic job of cooling our cabin. Definitely worth the price!!

This AC is amazing to have in your room. It helped me stay cool in the summer and it also help to minimize the heat of my electronics.

Came with parts cracked but still usable so try it but all the parts are incredibly cheap and the intake hose strugles to stay in place but dont worry, even if you get it perfect it wont make a difference. I have had coolers with almiost half this many BTUS that blow significantly colder. Had to return it

Wouldn't stop draining. Huge hassel. Kept having to empty a bucket.

I should have heeded the bad reviews but i tried my luck because of a great price and it didn't work out. It cools well but started having noticeable and scary vibrations two weeks into owning, so I returned it.

Buy at your own risk! I woke up to large puddles of water. This machine leaked everywhere! I do not recommend this product!

Do not buy this I used it 4 times and it was leaking all over the floor and not blowing cool air anymore.

While a little bit noisy , this air conditioner works well and cools my 400 square foot apartment in about 30 minutes . The price was ok at 299 dollars . Set up was easy with my sliding glass window . With the weather heating up more than it ever has ,this air conditioner is a must for me !!!
