I bought the j-lab epic air Bluetooth headphones thinking I was upgrading from my LG Bluetooth headphones. They did not work the way they were supposed to. I even took them back and swapped them out for another pair both had the same issues. The only thing that worked was answering a phone call. Great concept and would love a pair if they actually worked but way too expensive to risk buying another pair.

( Bad charging case ) This product has so much potential i want them to be great but there are so many glitches smh...i wore mine to work, around machinery and it cuts out 2 or 3 times in about 15 minutes of use mine reconnect right away but still its a little annoying... they fit really well maybe better then any in ear headphone iv ever had but after about 15 20 minutes you will want to just give them a push to make sure its still snug in your ear... there is nothing wrong with that... the problem is that any time u touch them or try to adjust them it Inadvertently changes the track or sets off the google assistant or pauses the music .. IT IS MOST ANNOYING! It should be a little less touch sensative atleast around the sides maybe..But when its not cutting out its great! I feel like we all got beta versions or prototypes bc if they worked out the bugs these would be amazing. Sound quality is 8 out of 10 could have a little more bass but hey all and all they get pretty loud. I love the concept behind the charging case and the fact that you can charge other stuff with it that was a great idea by jlab. Sadly my chaRging case is defective it wouldnt charge my earphones so i read reviews and tons of ppl talk about how their j lab audio epic air earphones came with bad charging cases... the little charging connectors are so small i hope they fix that in the next model.. im not saying thats the issue im just pointing out an observation. So anyways i will be returning mine but im probably gonna exchange them and try another pair bc if they could work correctly id recommend them to everyone... id probably buy a couple pair as gifts..not that theyre inexpensive but im not poor either. Also i noticed it said goodbye and cut off on me 1 or twice after hours of use but i just cut it back on. PLEASE FIX ALL THESE ISSUES BC i love its potential! Hope my review helped.

Good sound and good battery life. I bought this for my grandson as one of his Christmas gifts. I listen to it myself to make sure it would work. Sounds good

Couldn't even cut 2 row of grass without them cutting out 15 times. Terrible connectivity to each other & the phone.

I purchased the 1st pair and had to return it because the earbuds would not stay connected to the charger. So when I exchanged them for a new set I was hoping that the 1st pair was just a fluke but unfortunately I had the same problem with the 2nd set, they kept popping up not making the connection to charge. I was really hoping that they would work because they were very comfortable.

I find that these ear buds loose connection with my phone quite often, more so than others I have used.

Great ear buds, great fit and actually stay in! Only issue was volume randomly self adjusting. Contacted tech support and they responded quickly with a fix.

Got a pair of these as a gift and and I had to exchange them because, right out of the box the charging case would not charge, it would not show a charge and it would not charge the ear buds (once the buds function notified me the buds had medium charge) The second one I got after exchanging is what I reviewed. Spoiler alert, ended up getting my money back not just for issues I had with the ear buds themselves but because this new case ended up completely discharging out of nowhere. And yes, it had a full charge on it before it discharged. Battery life is good, as advertised. I used them for work. I do 2 part time split shifts at work, so 4hrs in the morning with a 3hr break and about 5hrs in the afternoon. Did not die on me while I used them since they would recharge on my break. Notifies you of ear bud battery life which was great. Had them for a work week(monday-friday). Had charged the case fully when I got it and the case still had some charge by Friday afternoon. It was ridiculous that I still had not charged the case by then. Fits good as long as you used the right size of ear tip. Connection wasn't too bad, but I noticed I'd lose connection, once in awhile, when my phone was in my pants pocket and my hands were in the pockets of my sweater. With no one around and no another device near me, my arm was more then enough to interfere with the connection. Again, once in awhile. On voice calls, no matter what volume I had on the phone AND the ear buds, when i got a call, I'd have to lower the volume on the phone and readjust it to where I can hear the person on the other end and I would have to do this every time I got a call. Just so you know, the volume controls on the ear buds would not help in this situation. The touch controls worked great but it does take some getting used to when adjusting the buds, so expect pausing and changing tracks until then. Full disclosure, I love alot of bass in my ear buds. I wasn't expecting much since these are true wireless ear buds but there is no bass. If you listen to music with double bass pedals or even anything that has some bass to get you pumped, then this is going to let you down. Don't get me wrong, these things can get loud. If you have the buds and your phone both at max volume, a person standing next to you Will hear your music too, not clearly, but they'll know your listening to something. Even changing the music settings on my phone did not work. Bass-wise, it ended up sounding like old cheap headphones. Aside from lack of bass, it does sound good, it's just not for me.

The headphones sound pretty good. The Bluetooth connection fails a lot even a simple turning of the head may cause it to.

This is a hard set to review. There is so much good, it is hard to rate it low. I will simply bullet point the good and bad. You decide if I should have rated higher or lower. Good: - Very comfortable for behind the ear hooks, even if you wear glasses. - 6 ear cups to choose from. - Up to 30 hours listening time with recharges from the carry case. - The charger doubles as a external battery for phone or other devices. - Cord designed into the case/charger. - They can get quite loud, even in loud environments they will drown out the background. Bad: - When opening the case, the left ear piece is on the right and the right is on the left. Just reversing the opening of the case would have fixed this. - Pairing is unnatural. You pair the ear piece closest to the side you carry your phone. Then pair the second earpiece with the first. Very clunky. - The reason to pair on the side you carry, the range is almost non-existent. If I walk 6 feet from my phone, it starts "skipping" or "jittering" as I lose connection. - The case is big. If your pants are tight, it isn't fitting in a pocket. - Sound is quite flat. Highs not there and very little bass. - Have to remove power cord to charge the case. - Controls are not very intuitive. - Sweat proof, but not water/dust proof. IP 54 rating. - If you charge these while damp, you void warranty. - The two ears pieces would disconnect from each other, so I could only hear thru one of them (The pairing earpiece). The only thing I can say, I really wanted to like them. I may have just got a bad set. I would not recommend for anyone who is working out and sweats, unless you don't worry about warranty's. If the sound was better, I would have at least given it a 3. If these were just a bad set, I feel bad about the rating. If this is the normal sound. These are not for audiofiles.

Great for working out but could be better for hoops ( pauses on touch on one ear and skips to next song on the other, which happens often while shooting a basketball ) I’d still recommend!

Bought these to watch movies on my tablet while traveling. So comfortable and the battery life lasts through a couple of movies, no problem!

These headphones were simple to set up. The sound is great. You just have to watch how you handle them and insert into your ears as it's easy to turn them off as well as adjust the volume.

The sound was decent but I need to take a call now and again. Every call the person said I sound like a robot and it was unbearable to have a conversation. I tried these for a while to get through the learning period that every review warns about but they just didn’t cut it. I returned them and bought AirPods. They were very secure and good enough sound wise if you ONLY want to work out or run which I did try and was satisfied with that aspect.

good quality sound brilliant charging case nice connect to blue tooth can wear for over 6 hours JLAB has done a good job with theses air buds

I've purchased several bluetooth earbuds and these are the best by far. These have good range away from the source and the battery is pretty good so far. I have no issues with these headphones.

I bought these for the fit because many of the other wireless ear buds have fallen out of my ears. These fit great but I had a problem with the sound. The sound frequently cuts in and out. You can control the music by hitting either the right or left earbud. They tended to be very sensitive so anytime I did something active my hair would hit the earbud and either shut off the music or fast forward to the next song. They are going back.

Headphones fit very good, and the sound quality is excellent. the built in charger on the case makes it nearly impossible to run out of juice.

compared to my bose sport and jaybird x3 this headphone just does sound good. When the volume is turned up to about 80% there was a hissing on the highs. Also they have a tin like sound

That’s pretty much all I ask for in Bluetooth speakers. Great for working out as they don’t fall out. Carry case serves as charger as well so adds great convenience.
