We got these on a good sale for the holidays, but it turns out even that sale wasn't a good enough price for them. We bought two types for two kids and neither of them liked this brand so we returned them and went with the other style. The design is something they liked. Over the ear so they were secure and more comfortable than in the ear like most true wireless buds are. The sound was ok. Not great, but not horrible. The real negative came in on connectivity. They paired easily enough, but kept disconnecting on any kind of movement. I have a Bose pair and they had some issues at first and I read that they had to "learn" to adapt to certain surroundings so we tried that. It worked with the Bose, but not these. Kept them connected for a couple days and the drop outs still continued too often. Different phones (iPhone 7, 7+, and Android) and different locations (indoor, outdoor, public) and no difference. On top of that, while watching YouTube and using these, there was a significant lag with the sound. Research shows this is a common problem. And to verify it wasn't a lagging problem with the phones, we tried the other brand (Jam) and had no such issues. So if you're listening to music and can keep them connected they seem like a decent pair of true wireless buds. But for video and impatient people they are pretty worthless.

I am loving these earbuds. This was my third pair of earbuds purchased. I tried the Beats but they were too clunky and I didn't like the wire hanging on my neck. I also tried the Apple EarPods but they weren't compatible with the iPod Nano. I saw these online and took a chance on them given the mixed reviews. Most were correct in that you need to give these earbuds time to learn how you use them. After this "learning" period, though, these have turned out to be great earbuds. The sound is clear and they have a good amount of bass. The volume goes very high drowning out any background noise. They come with multiple ear pieces so you can get a good fit for your ear. Customer service was a pleasure to deal with. The first pair I ordered wouldn't charge and did not automatically pair with my device upon turning them on. I was able to exchange them through Best Buy (within 14 day window) and the second pair received have no issues. Can't say enough good about them. Am loving these earbuds on my runs!

The fit is amazing. Very snug. The sound is very clean. Paired easily to my phone. All functions worked well. This is a good product. The case works great for storage and charging. The buds will auto power off when put in case. Will also auto power on when removed from case and both buds will auto sync together. My only concern is with any ear bud, you take the chance of damaging you inner follicles. "health concern" some people have developed Tinnitus. A suggestion to the manufacturer is to color band each bud to better identify left and right. The impressed letter on each bud is extremely difficult to see.

Pros-they stay in, even when sweating and running. They don't allow much external noise in, you can set them to just turn on when pulled from the case, tells you the battery level when you turn them on. Black Friday deal-nice price. Cons- Take longer to connect then I would expect them to after pulling them from the case, may be just me, but somehow they always get paused during my workout. Not sure if I am hitting a button or it just doing it.

Do not buy this product. Best Buy should remove it from their store. I give design, look and sound quality 5 stars but it is useless if the product won't work. I purchased my first one and they wouldn't pair or charge. Returned it and the second set paired and charged on the first try. Thought I was good to go. There were a few times that the audio dropped but didn't seem to happen often. Yes, they are sensitive to the touch and the volume will just keep dropping without touching them. After a month the case wouldn't charge anymore thus the ear pieces couldn't be charged. I am returning the second pair also. Thankfully I purchased geek squad replacement.

Ok, so I did a lot of homework in regards to bluetooth headphones before I stumbled upon these. I read the description features and thought what the heck, I'll give these a try, after all, latest technology with bluetooth, charging case, 7 hour battery life and NO WIRES! Well, I got home and read reviews that talked about the bluetooth connection issues and found them all to be true. I took these immediately to the gym and couldn't get 10 feet from my phone without them cutting out. Turning my head would cause problems, and cause connection between left and right headphones also. I also read one review that said that connection issues would get better. I can't say that it ever did, but I used them about 4 times to see. However, this was not the final reason I decided to return these headphones. The sound, though loud and clear, was not either. BTW, the main problem with the sound was the lack of bass. The treble was awesome! And they would really get loud as I was able to hear them even while mowing the lawn. The main reason why I returned these was because I found every time I wanted to readjust the ear piece I would end up either fast forwarding the song, pausing it, or talking with Siri! I never really could figure out how to turn up and down the volume either. This is the problem with putting many controls on a very small device! Just for clarification, all of these issues mounted up to the point of my dissatisfaction overall! I really like some of the the features, but they are just too frustrating to keep around. Gotta go back to what I had before!

These are by far the best wireless earbuds I've used. Most start falling out shortly after I start moving around, and all I'm usually doing is walking or mowing the lawn. These stay put. In addition, the sound is great with plenty of bass to keep me moving. The charging case is a great addition as well since I've found myself charging my phone with it on multiple occasions.

If you are a person who is looking for a versatile & convenient set of headphones at a good price, these are the ones! The JLab Epic Air are a pioneer for the early true wireless headphones. They have a GREAT design that allows the earbud to sit comfortably and stay in your ear whether you are sitting down or doing backflips. The headset comes with a bunch of different sized earpieces so you can use the one that’s right for you. The quality is obviously not what you get from a stereo headset but they produce a pretty good sound for a set of true wireless. The touch controls are also pretty easy to learn and very responsive. Be careful when you maneuver the earbuds as the touch sensors are sensitive and you can skip a track or active Siri unintentionally. All things considered, these are exactly what I was looking for. I use them to workout and take them along with me (including the portable charging case) in a laptop bag to work as well. A+ if this is your criteria.

Great earbuds. 6-7 hour battery life. I use them 1 at a timw for my job as a trucker. Great call quiality. Nice punchy base. Crisp mids. When used as a pair. They do cut out at the beginning but after 1 minutes the conection gets better. About 20-30 feet range depending on whats in the way. The chargeing case top is alitle flimsy but it does a great job at chargeing them. Hey get really loud. When wearing them i forget i have them on and have never fallen out. Washed them over with tap watter and havent had any problems

I was looking for a wireless earphones that would replace the one's that I currently was using. I hadn't read the reviews for this product and bought them because of the design. I have the Jaybird X2 Wireless earphones, but somehow even after I tried the different fittings, they would still fall out in long runs. I typically run 8 miles a day, and in the Houston, TX heat and humidity, I'm left drenched in sweat and that causes the Jaybird X2 earbuds to slip out of my ear. I figured I needed something that would hang over my ear along with the inner ear piece to give that extra stability when sweat gets in my ear. These JLab Epic Air are the only one's that I've seen, in this price range to offer that design and be truly wireless. I haven't run for longer than an hour, so I haven't put the play time to test. It says it'll hold a charge for 7 hours and that was another reason I chose these earbuds. I've had these earbuds now a week and so far I have experienced the following: 1. I went on a 5 mile run and was surprised to have had connection the entire run... with one exception. After my run, I was stretching and that's when the connection started to cut out. It wasn't significant enough to disrupt my music, it was more of a "crackling" sound. 2. The sound quality was that of the JayBird X2, which was good, enough to drown out any outside noise (and heavy breathing). 3. After 5 miles, I never had to once adjust the earbuds. Even after all of that sweating, they stayed in place. Which is a good thing and leads to my next point. 4. They are sensitive. Once I turned them on and they were paired, I put them in my ear and as I'm adjusting them while the music is playing through them, the simple touch and adjusting would change the volume or song. My recommendation is, set them in place and then start your music. I was streaming Pandora and had no issues connecting. 5. The night before my run, I plugged in the charging case with earbuds in them and also connected my phone from the case. I'm assuming that because I did this, when I put the earbuds in, the voice prompt stated they were "half charged." The charging case showed it was fully charged as was represented by all of the lights being lit up. I haven't used them again, but this time I solely charged the case with earbuds in them and not the phone. I hope this helps. I would have given it 5 stars, but I think the volume change design could be a little better. Pushing in and holding until I get the desired volume; left ear for volume down, right ear for volume up... I don't like to push things too far into my ear canal, its a bit uncomforting.

Purchased these headphones after reading reviews from Consumer Reports and other outlets. The headphones sound better than Apple AirPods and have a much more secure fit. The biggest issue is the connection. I used an iPhone SE along with these headphones and could not get the connection to stay consistently. The owners manual said they adapt to your head and the connection will improve over time; not the case. Your phone must remain in either your left or right pocket (your choice during the difficult paring process). Simply cannot recommend until the connection issue is resolved.

I am very happy with these earbuds. They were quite easy to sync to my iPod, and they came with so many different shapes of earbuds that I found a pair that fit well for me. I REALLY like the case, which charges my earbuds. I run with them, so I leave them in my gymbag in the case and they are always charged when I need them. I charge the case about as often as I charge my iPod, and they both get through 4-5 workouts before I need to plug them in. Lost one star because my first pair would not charge. I had to return them to Best Buy, which was easy - new pair have been great.

I bought these bc they met all my needs: working out, making calls while driving, watching or listening to music/Netflix. I love that if I keep the charging pack fully charged I always have fully charged ear buds. Rarly do they need to be plugged in. A huge bonus is the rhr charging pack for the earbuds can charge my iPhone too. Which cuts down on the clutter in my purse. When both bids are worn they are fully noise canceling. I personally only like to wear one at a time bc I get nervous being that closed off to the sounds around me especially running. Figuring out the touch controls for each bud is a little learning curve but nothing that would make me deduct points. It can be a little annoying when I accidentally bump the left ear bud and it pauses my video or song but another tap starts it again. The hook over the ear makes this the most secure fully wireless buds I have tried. I bought and returned a few brands before sticking with this pair. I can wear them for over an hour with no discomfort. Just be sure to wipe them down if you sweat or it rains. The buds themselves are water resistant but the charging case isn’t. Over all they are a solid investment.

They started out ok but pairing them was difficult. I did like the over the ear design because they wouldnt fall out. The buttons on the inside were odd.The left bud kept losing connection and the sound would fade out constantly. It would randomly connect to my phone even in the case and the range is weak so i would have to have my phone close compared to other bluetooth headphones. I sweat alot and after about 2 months the connetivity got worse. They were getting much much worse so i decided to finally return them after about 2 1/2 months. I bout the 2 year replacement plan which was well worth it which i recommend for any product. I traded them in for bose soundsport free wireless and its night and day so far. They stay in my ear, have way better sound quality and have better connectivity. I will probably write a review on those after a few months of use.

Sound good batteries seem to last and they stay in on the motorcycle with or without a helmet. My bike is loud and they are more than loud enough to play over the sound of the bike. I would definitely recommend them. Only problem is when on a phone call you only hear it in one side I have not called tech support yet but if they can resolve that then definitely 5 stars.

Sound of these earbuds are great and with their over the ear design, it helps with working out. However, the charging case on the two different sets that i purchased would not work. Unfortunately, after speaking with JLab customer service, they deemed the case to be faulty. I would have returned them a 3rd time, but I didn't want to get another bad case.

I love this headphones this are by far the most comfortable pair i have ever owned.I use this for my Daily runs @ the park,i paired them to my iPhone 7 and i also run with the Nike apple watch, i have gotten Constant Connection Problems with this i must say it breaks my heart because i love this buds, if i use only one bud it does ok, the trouble begins when i try to use both, i guess is too much going on,I haven't giving up on this just yet because i like running with one bud only while i run so this work for me.as for the Battery the most i have gotten out of of this buds on a full charge is 5 hours.i bought this at BestBuy with the GeekSquad Waranty and ill give them another two weeks see how they perform before i switch them for another pair.

I purchased these after looking at several models, and I had certain criteria they needed to meet: 1) Good fit - I want to run and mountain bike (single track) with these, and knew that the 'little buds' could fall out and be lost on the trail. These fit perfectly, especially with all of the tip options that come with them. With the over ear loops, they will certainly not fall out. 2) Waterproof - I'm a sweater. I most recently purchased the Powerbeats, and found I had to wrap the cable control module with plastic wrap every time I ran to keep them function correctly throughout my run. The Epic Airs function perfectly - and stay in my sweaty ears far better than the Powerbeats. 3) Controls - Without touching my phone or a pesky cable, I can play, pause, turn up, turn down, answer (and talk) on a call, and switch songs forward and back. I found the buds very easy to setup. With the help of the included quick start guide, I had them on,operational, and customized within 5 minutes. They now function exactly how I like them (customized for how I hold my phone, and when I want them to turn on and off). The people having trouble setting up and connecting probably think they know more than they do, and are trying to set them up without reading the book. I do I.T. for a living, and I always 'read the book'. Do they cut out sometimes, of course they do, but it gets less and less all the time. My 'primary' bud is the left bud, as I'm left handed and chose to set them up that way. Every once in a while the right bud will get out of sync, but will be back in sync within .5 - 1 second. Additionally, you can use the bud charging case to charge your USB watch, phone, etc. Again, I haven't owned these long, but I've put them through the paces, and so far I love them.

Just what I needed! Loud, sweat proof, secure fit, and a true cordless bluetooth. Only negative is the device is a bit sensitive, so wearing any type of hood or constantly touching them can cause it to pause/lower the volume or change the song. I had to be honest and make you aware of that, but having said that, it's only happened to me once since I had them. I definitely don't regret the purchase. It's definitely what I needed and wanted.
